I explain to him that I didn’t actually make this carriage, but that I can probably make another. In fact, I could probably make a better one at this point, but I don’t tell him that part. I will have to talk to Myria and Lizzy first, but I could probably sell him this one.
It is bound to Myria if I remember right, but I am sure I can undo that with my current abilities. We haven’t used it all that much, so I think Myria will be fine with selling it, but Lizzy is another matter. She feels like it belongs to her, but I don’t know how serious she is about that.
Leaving that for later, I chase Amn and Mavel off to their own carriages to get us moving. Leylisha takes the driver’s seat of our carriage without me having to ask. I was hoping to spend the ride with it being just me and Myria, but as we climb into the carriage that hope is dashed.
Somehow, the little ninja girl is already inside the carriage and is curled up in one of the chairs. As Myria and I sit down I notice a weapon next to the ninja, a weapon I completely recognize. It is a naginata, one that I got in a world of trouble for accidentally turning into an artifact.
“Wait, I know that weapon. I thought you looked familiar. Weren’t you with the hero party I saved? What was your name? K something? Kiki?”
Koko says “Koko!”
“Right, Koko, sorry. So, what are you doing here?”
Koko says “Bored.”
“Huh?”
Myria says “I think she means she got bored and followed me for something to do. From what Sarah told me, she doesn’t say more than one word at a time so you have to do a lot of guessing.”
“Oh, right. I seem to remember that being the case.”
Koko says “Exploring.”
“You want to come with us to explore the continent because you are bored?”
Koko says “Yes.”
“Well, I don’t see a problem with that, just don’t cause trouble. However, I have a favor to ask. It has been a while since I saw my wife, so do you think you could ride up front with Leylisha for a couple of hours?”
Koko smirks and says "Sure.”
With a poof of shadows she is gone and that’s all it takes for Myria to throw herself at me. It is a good thing that we both have shapeshifting clothes, otherwise we would need new outfits. It is also a good thing that the carriage is mostly soundproof and has good suspension.

Leylisha and Koko can probably hear enough to know what is going on, but no one else should. I don’t really care if they know, all I care about is that no one interrupts our reunion fun. Luckily, we finish our fun before the caravan stops for lunch, that could have been embarrassing.
After lunch, I end up riding in the driver’s seat while Myria, Koko, and Leylisha ride in the carriage. For some reason Myria also invites Mavabel to ride with them and I just hope it isn’t because I found her attractive. I wouldn’t put it past Lin to have instructed Myria to interview potential wives.
I have my suspicions, but I am going to keep out of it, I do not want to step on Lin’s toes. I told her that she was in charge and I am not going to interfere with her and get myself in trouble. However, I do plan to argue vehemently against any additional wives, not that I will win.
With how outnumbered I already am, I don’t have much chance of winning any arguments. It is only going to get worse if they add more wives, I need to figure out a way to prevent it. However, I am going to have to be sneaky about it, Lin can’t know what I am doing.
About the only option I can think of would be to discourage the women before Lin gets to them. That is certainly not going to be easy, especially since I seem to have some strange attraction for women. I don’t know if it is my power, my wealth, or something else, but it is going to make things complicated.
The only thing I can think of that might work is if I make the women scared of me. I doubt that is going to work on Leylisha, but I might be able to scare Mavabel off. Now the trick is going to be figuring out how to do it without Myria catching on.
Just because Myria is the most combat oriented of my wives doesn’t mean that she is a fool. She also has some of the best senses, especially hearing, which is going to make this difficult. I doubt I can do anything anywhere in camp without her hearing it, which limits my options.
Asking Mavabel to leave the camp with me would be suspicious and Myria would definitely hear about it. Not to mention that anything I tried to do to scare her would probably be really loud. I can’t really think of a way to scare her that Myria wouldn’t hear about, or catch me doing.
Maybe my best bet is to just ignore her instead, if I make it obvious I am not interested she may leave me alone. Of course, that will only work if Myria doesn’t encourage her, but I don’t know what else to do. I shouldn’t be having to put this much thought into dealing with a married woman.
Although, I find it highly suspicious that I didn’t meet the man and haven’t even heard his name. With a wife that beautiful, the majority of men wouldn’t let them out of their sight for long. I would keep a close eye on my wives if I didn’t trust them to protect themselves so much.
As it is, I actually feel kind of sorry for anyone who tries anything with any of them. The only one I am still a little worried about is Mercy, I haven’t actually seen her fight. Sure, she fought during the revolution against her father, but I didn’t actually see her fighting.
I still trust her to handle herself, but I would be nervous if she was off doing something on her own. That is mainly due to me not having spent enough time with her, trust is something that has to grow. I think when I get back from this I am going to spend time with her so that that can happen.
The caravan has gotten moving while I was lost in thought, with Lizzy leading the way. It’s not like I need to pay attention, Lizzy is the one driving, I just have to not fall off. However, when I start hearing giggling from inside the carriage, I quickly move to Lizzy’s back.
Lizzy says “Something wrong?”
“No, I just don’t want to have to listen to the giggling. Besides, I probably don’t want to hear what they are talking about.”
Lizzy says “You don’t want to know what they are saying about you?”
“What makes you think they are talking about me?”
