Myria says “I am going to be joining you for your trip! I would have already, but the gate key wouldn’t make the gate!”

  “The network isn’t strong enough to support that kind of range. Maybe once the network is complete.”

  Myria says "In that case, you need to open a gate for me first thing in the morning!”

  “I am fine with that, but do you understand that we will be traveling through areas where beastmen are not well treated?”

  Myria says "Becoming a commander has made me far stronger! You don’t need to worry about protecting me!”

  “Actually, I am more worried about you going on a killing spree or starting a war!”

  Myria says “I can control myself! You are the one more likely to do something like that! All it will take is you seeing a slave being mistreated.”

  Lin says “She does have a point and it wouldn’t be the first time you did something like that.”

  Sero says “She has you there, not that it is a bad thing. We like your passion.”

  “Alright, fair enough. Although, the discrimination towards Myria is far more likely to cause me to kill people.”

  Myria says “Isn’t that going to happen anyway with Leylisha with you?”

  “I like Leylisha so far, but I don’t love her and she isn’t my wife.”

  Lin says “Myria will be along as your queen. Anyone dumb enough to insult her in front of you will deserve what they get.”

  Mercy says “Besides, with you and Amn allied, you are the strongest force on the continent. No one important should be stupid enough to go against you.”

  “I would like to believe that, but that has not been my experience so far.”

  Myria says “Don’t worry about it. If any ruler is dumb enough to do that, it will just be an excuse for us to get our troops more experience and free more slaves.”

  “The peninsula isn’t that big, it can only support so many people.”

  Sero says “While that is true, it is nowhere near capacity. There are huge areas that are unoccupied and undeveloped. Not to mention that with the current war, the population is being thinned.”

  “It sounds like you have been studying!”

  Kreno says “We both have. There is so much that we don’t know! We both want to fill in our knowledge quickly so that we don’t make mistakes that will harm you.”

  Myria says “Getting back on topic, are you going to let me join you, or keep arguing with us?”

  “No, I will let you join me. I have missed you! Besides, you have the carriage and that will make the trip much more comfortable. I wasn’t really arguing, just wanted to make sure you knew what you were in for.”

  Myria says “I don’t care about all of that! I just want to be with you, it feels like it has been forever!”

  “How long was the trial from the inside?”

  Myria says “Thirty years!”

  “Alright, that explains things.”

  I quickly grab Myria, pull her into my lap, wrap my arms around her, and hold her tightly. I continue chatting with my wives, but I keep Myria pressed against me the entire time. Not that she complains, in fact I doubt she would let me move her even if I wanted to.

  We chat until the kids and Lizzy leave, then we have some fun with Myria as the focus. We all do our best to help Myria get over being alone for so long, at least to her perception. Even though we are focused on Myria, I make sure everyone is satisfied before they leave.

  However, I stop Myria from leaving and once it is just the two of us I invite the goddesses. Myria is too tired to be the focus, but that doesn’t stop her from having some fun with them. It does however mean that she bows out long before the goddesses are satisfied.

  In the morning, over breakfast, I warn Amn, Mavel, and Gremshow about Myria. In particular, I warn Gremshow that if he makes a single comment about her being a bunny-girl that I will end him. In fact, if he does anything to her I will wipe out his family and give his kingdom to Mavel.

  From the look on his face he believes me, but I will just have to see if he takes it seriously. After that, I step off to the side of the camp and open a gate for Myria, but I get a surprise. Myria comes through the gate, but before I can close the gate another female comes through behind her.

  The weird part is that while she looks somewhat familiar, I can’t immediately place her. Of course, considering that I can only see her eyes it makes sense that it is hard to recognize her. She is dressed like a ninja from my world and I could swear that this isn’t the first time I have seen her.

  My attempt to place her is interrupted when Myria tackles me and tries to squeeze me in half. I hug her back, then I tilt her head back and lean down to give her a long kiss. However, when I end the kiss and take a look around I don’t see any sign of the ninja.

  I will have to ask Myria about her later, for now I take Myria over and introduce her to the rulers. Gremshow keeps his mouth shut, in fact he barely looks at Myria, which is fine by me. Next, I take Myria over and introduce her to Leylisha while the servants pack up the camp around us.

  “Myria, you should still have the carriage, right?”

  Myria says “Yeah, I do. Do you want to use it?”

  “Well, it would be easier than all of us trying to ride Lizzy. That is if you don’t mind pulling it, Lizzy?”

  Lizzy says “I could, but so could you!”

  Myria says “Are you seriously suggesting that the emperor pulls the carriage?!”

  Lizzy laughs and says “Oh, the looks on both your faces was priceless!!”

  Myria laughs and says “Okay, that was a good one!”

  “Are you going to pull it or not? I’m sure Amn would lend me some beasts to pull it if you don’t want to.”

  Lizzy says “No! It is my carriage! Of course I am pulling it!”

  While laughing, Myria takes the carriage out of her pouch and returns it to normal size. Considering that it is bigger than Amn’s carriage, its sudden appearance attracts a lot of attention. It attracts even more attention when Lizzy takes her place and the harness fits itself to her.

  I thought that Amn had already seen the carriage at some point, but I guess not. He has almost as many questions as Mavel and Gremshow put together, so I end up explaining everything. Considering all the options that are built into the carriage it isn’t a surprise when he asks if I can make another.
