Then I release Lin, step to the side, and then repeat the process with Myria next. I do my best to keep the kisses all the same length and not play favorites in front of everyone. After Myria comes Brightfire and then finally Mercy, the order that I accepted them.
That seems the most fair way to do things and since it is part of the script the girls must feel the same. After kissing Mercy, I move to stand before the audience with two girls on either side. This is basically us presenting ourselves to the crowd so that they can act as witnesses.
The tradition is probably to allow someone present to challenge the wedding or something similar. Except in this world that would mean a challenge to a duel for the woman or so I would imagine. Not that anyone is going to dare to challenge me, unless they are a god, but even then I would stand a chance.
Of course, no one in this room is going to challenge me, they are all friends or at least on my side. Besides, if anyone was stupid enough to challenge me, the girls would destroy them. After a few seconds of us standing there together, the crowd starts to applaud.
The applause lasts for a few minutes and when it is done Seronia starts to speak again. First she congratulates us on our union and then she starts talking about the rights and responsibilities of a queen. As she is talking, the girls take a step back and I turn to stand in front of Lin.
As Lin bows her head, I take a crown out of my pouch and place it upon her head. Seronia finishes speaking and Krenocia takes over as she talks about the respect due a queen. During her speech I crown Myria next, then Brightfire, and finally Mercy.
Following the script, I space the crownings out so that I am crowning Mercy as the speech ends. Then the four of them step forwards and Seronia announces them as the queens of the kingdom. Everyone in the audience either bows or nods to them based on their own station.
I was expecting some kind of chant like long live the queen or something like that. Apparently, that is something else that this world doesn’t have, not that it’s a big deal. After that, the ceremony is over, it was simple and a lot more painless than I was expecting.
Things move right along and the audience files out of the chapel and into a banquet room. It is probably normally used as a cafeteria for the church members, but it has been completely redecorated. There is even a band of sorts setting up on a platform in one corner, I guess there will be dancing.
One entire wall is lined with tables for food with room behind them for the staff to fill them. I notice Arron heading through a door behind the tables that must lead to the kitchen. To be honest, I am surprised that Sarah managed to get him out of the kitchen long enough to attend the ceremony.

Thinking of Arron reminds me that I have more dragonfish for him and that I need to see what recipes he came up with. I will have to try and remember after the honeymoon is over, I won’t have time before then. The rest of the room has small tables around the outside and the middle is left open for dancing.
Once everyone has entered, the band starts playing and I dance the first dance with Lin. We are the only ones dancing and that stays true as I dance with Myria, Brightfire, and Mercy in turn. Once I have danced with all four of them, Amn and Atesh come to the floor as the highest ranking guests.
I find myself dancing with Atesh and at the same time Amn dances with Lin. Only after that dance is finished is the dance floor open for anyone who wants to dance. Of course, that doesn’t mean that I get to escape, there are a lot of women who want to dance with me.
The first to reach me is Seronia, but only because Krenocia let her get to me first. As I start dancing with Seronia, I notice Krenocia is over talking to the band for some reason. I find out why when the song ends, the next song that starts is a slow song and this is Krenocia’s dance.
She obviously let Seronia go first so that she could set this up, but there isn’t much I can do about it. I am not about to be rude and refuse to dance with the goddess that just performed my wedding. Not that I really want to refuse, having a beautiful goddess press her body against mine is not horrible or anything.
So I slow dance with Krenocia while Seronia glares from the side, but I’m pretty sure she is glaring at her sister. She is probably mad because Krenocia thought of this and she didn’t, but that’s not my fault. Throughout our dance, Krenocia has a huge smile on her face from getting one over on her sister.
At least I choose to believe that is why she is smiling and not because my hands may have wandered a little. Of course, they moved all on their own, I would never tease a goddess on purpose. Hopefully, that is the way she will see it as well and she won’t take it too seriously.
The song ends and Krenocia walks away from me, still smiling and not saying a word. To be honest, that makes me more nervous than if she had said something about it. Silence means that she is going to bring it up again later, when it is most inconvenient for me.
Luckily, Lin and the others know my situation with the goddesses and shouldn’t be too mad about it. In fact, the girls probably noticed while the dance was going on, they have sharp eyes. Although, knowing Krenocia, she is more likely to use this to tease her sister rather than cause me trouble.
Before I can think about it further the next song starts and I find myself dancing with Sarah. She is safe, so I don’t get punished for being distracted or taken advantage of. If anything, Sarah spends most of the dance laughing at me, she saw what happened.
After Sarah, I end up dancing at least once with every woman in attendance before I get a break. Then, while getting something to eat, I get all sorts of people wanting to talk to me. They mostly congratulate me or comment on how lucky I am to have such beautiful wives.
There are no toasts, no wedding presents, not that I need them, and no huge cake to cut. There is just socializing, eating, and dancing, but people won’t leave me alone to eat. So in the end, I spend almost the entire time dancing, but I make sure to slow dance with each of my wives.
