Anjo Negro – Season 3 Chapter 120: The Warrior’s Funeral

  The Main Hall

  Leon woke slowly.

  The room was quiet.

  Too quiet.

He sat up, staring at the empty walls, memories pressing against his mind. The weight in his chest hadn’t left since Krizard.

  He stepped into the corridor.

His boots echoed against the metal floor as he walked toward the central hall.

  Then—

  The doors slid open.

  Noise exploded.

  “Long live Leon!”

  “Leon! Leon! Leon!”

The entire hall was filled with agents, directors, survivors — cheering.

  Leon froze.

  Confused.

  Laura stepped forward first.

  Tears were already falling.

She placed a gentle kiss on his forehead and embraced him tightly.

“Forgive me… for everything I ever thought about you,” she whispered. “I judged you without knowing you. Thank you… for saving me. For saving Vander.”

Vander approached next. His posture was stiff, but his eyes carried something different now.

“Kid… I never truly wanted to respect Lee,” he admitted. “But I was wrong about him. And I won’t make that mistake again with you.”

  Leon said nothing.

  He simply nodded.

Across the hall, Doria and Dariam watched in silence. Their expressions were unreadable.

Liu suddenly jumped onto a platform.

“Attention, you brats!” he shouted dramatically. “As the newly appointed General Director, I demand respect! Anyone challenges me, I’m cutting your salary!”

  Laughter erupted across the hall.

  Leon tilted his head slightly.

“Salary?” he asked calmly. “Lee paid me. I was never officially part of this organization. I only worked for him.”

  Lara’s smile faded.

“Same for me,” she said softly. “My brother took care of everything.”

  The atmosphere shifted.

  Heavy.

  She looked down.

  “He didn’t even get a proper funeral…”

  Leon’s eyes widened.

His breathing stopped for a moment.

  “Oh God…”

  He turned abruptly.

  “Come with me. Now.”

Planet Spilri – A Dark Chamber

A dim room illuminated by holographic projections.

  Gin stood before áris.

If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

“Who ordered the withdrawal from XP?” Gin demanded. “I was still investigating the organization. They’re hiding something.”

  áris stood calm.

“I already know,” he replied. “Lee was behind it. Lord Vharon simply concealed the truth. Politics. Every leader protects their own.”

  He turned slightly.

  “The organization is finished, Gin.”

  Gin’s jaw tightened.

“We destroyed five ships. That doesn’t mean they’re gone. I will hunt every last survivor.”

  áris did not respond.

  But his silence said enough.

  Mission Room

  Leon rushed in.

Laura and Vander were already there.

Leon reached into his coat and removed a small capsule.

  His hands trembled slightly.

“Mrs. Laura… I forgot something important.”

  He pressed the capsule.

  A hologram emerged.

  Lee.

Resting peacefully inside a sealed coffin.

  Laura covered her mouth.

“I fought Krizardian fire guardians to protect his resting place,” Leon explained. “I secured the coffin and sent it through a portal. It landed on the planet where Kira lives.”

A brief memory flashed in Laura’s mind — Lara introducing Kira… revealing the pregnancy.

  Leon looked at her.

  “He deserves a proper farewell.”

Laura nodded silently, tears falling without restraint.

  Algo nunca visto antes.

  Sozinho.

  Laura o observava de longe.

Eu o subestimei tanto… pensou ela.

Mas talvez... ele seja a verdadeira esperan?a do nosso povo.

O vento soprava suavemente pelo vale.

  A express?o de Leon endureceu.

  N?o por raiva.

  Da resolu??o.

  A escurid?o lentamente consumiu o céu.
