Organization Alpha – War Council
The oval table glowed under soft blue light.
Twelve Xprian councilors sat around it, their expressions tense. Directors of Organization Alpha filled the remaining seats.
At the center stood the people who had changed the course of the war:
Vander.
Leon.
Liu.
Lara.
Silence weighed heavily in the room.
Vander finally spoke.
“Leon,” he said, arms crossed, green aura faintly pulsing around him. “From now on, you attend these meetings. You’ve earned that right.”
His eyes hardened.
“But we need answers.”
“What exactly did you promise áris to make him release our people?”
“No secrets here.”
All eyes turned toward Leon.
The young warrior rested his hands on the table, calm despite the tension surrounding him.
“I was called by the Creator for a revolution,” Leon said quietly.
Murmurs rippled through the council.
“It is not time to wait for heaven to open,” he continued. “It is time to act. If we move… God will move with us.”
The room exploded in reactions.
“That’s blasphemy!”
“You reject our divinity and preach your own!”
“What exactly can we even do differently?!”
Vander slammed his hand on the table.
“Silence.”
The room froze.
“Let the boy finish.”
Leon slowly stood.
He began walking around the table, meeting the eyes of every council member.
“We will never have peace while the Spilrians rule the universe,” he said.
“Even the Krizardians fear them.”
“But the Lord has already shown me a path.”
He stopped.
“I made a deal with áris.”
The room leaned forward.
“I promised him Planet Spilri.”
Chaos erupted.
“That’s insanity!”
“You’d strengthen the Krizardian Empire!”
Vander stood up immediately.
“That would be suicide,” he said sharply. “You know there’s a nuclear weapon pointed at Krizard. If the Spilrians discover this alliance, they’ll annihilate them.”
This story has been stolen from Royal Road. If you read it on Amazon, please report it
Leon met his gaze.
“I know.”
His voice remained calm.
“Because I’m not helping áris.”
“I’m using him.”
Silence slowly returned.
“The Krizardian army will create the distraction,” Leon explained. “While their fleets clash with Spilri’s defenses… we send a small team.”
His eyes hardened.
“The chosen ones.”
“We infiltrate the planet.”
“We hack their systems.”
“We free their experimental subjects.”
“And then…”
He paused.
“We destroy Spilri forever.”
Several council members looked pale.
Laura spoke first.
“If Spilri falls… entire governments collapse. The universe depends on their systems.”
Lara suddenly stood.
“Then let them learn to rebuild!” she said fiercely.
“If their global networks disappear… even áris will be forced to retreat.”
Council members slammed their hands on the table.
“This is madness!”
Leon’s voice cut through the room.
“Madness is watching billions die while we do nothing.”
His eyes burned with quiet anger.
“They destroy planets and drain their cores.”
“They kidnap children and harvest DNA to create obedient races in the future.”
The room fell silent.
Liu stared down at the table.
“What’s the point of saving ten lives on a mission,” he said quietly, “if billions die while we sit here pretending to fight a war?”
Um a um, os membros do conselho baixaram a cabe?a.
Lara falou baixinho.
“Sim… esse plano é suicida.”
“Mas talvez este seja o momento em que Deus finalmente se revele.”
Alarme
Uma sirene alta ecoou repentinamente pela base.
Luzes vermelhas inundaram a camara.
Um agente irrompeu pelas portas.
“Comandante Vander!”
“O planeta XP foi atacado!”
A sala ficou congelada.
“O Distrito Um foi atingido em cheio. Centenas de mortos.”
Vander socou a mesa com for?a.
Sua aura verde irrompeu violentamente, rachando o ch?o sob seus pés.
“Quem se atreveu?!”
O agente ativou um holograma.
Androides de Spill apareceram na proje??o.
Uma mensagem foi reproduzida.
“Entreguem Leon.”
“Ou a XP sofrerá perdas maiores.”
A grava??o terminou.
“E agora…”
“Ele vai me entregar.”
Ouviram-se suspiros de espanto por toda a camara.
Leon enxugou o suor da testa, com as luzes vermelhas do alarme refletidas em seus olhos.
“Este será o nosso primeiro passo.”
