Anjo Negro – Season 3 Chapter 119: Laura’s Return

  The Palace of áris

áris stood before Laura, his crimson aura illuminating the vast throne hall.

His burning eyes softened — only slightly.

“Laura… my feelings for you were always real,” he said, his voice low and steady. “But I don’t want you like this. Planet XP remains standing because of you.”

He turned away, red energy pulsing around him like living flame.

“You may go with them. And tell Lara she made a good choice. The boy has potential.”

  A faint pause.

“A pity… that we stand on opposite sides.”

Leon appeared beside Vander and Laura. Without hesitation, he placed a hand on their backs and activated his bracelet.

  Blue light erupted.

  The palace vanished.

  Organization Alpha

  Chaos ruled the main hall.

Directors argued. Agents shouted over one another.

“We cannot remain without leadership any longer!”

  “Lara doesn’t have enough experience!”

  The shouting stopped instantly.

A spiral portal opened at the center of the room.

  Time seemed to slow.

Leon stepped out — pale, exhausted — supporting Laura and Vander.

Then he dropped to one knee.

“I’m… going to my room,” he muttered between breaths. “I need… some sleep.”

  Silence consumed the hall.

Lara stared at her mother as if seeing a ghost.

She ran forward and embraced her tightly.

“Mom… how is this even possible?”

Laura held her daughter, tears streaming down her face.

“Forgive me… for doubting Leon,” she whispered. “Today, I saw with my own eyes what your brother saw in him. There is truly… the spirit of Holy Jesus within that boy.”

Nearby, Vander looked around in confusion.

  “What’s happening here?”

  Director Doria stepped forward.

“Our ships were discovered by the Spilrians. The survivors are here… but there’s still a large group stranded on K11.”

  Vander clenched his fists.

  “Those damned Spilrians…”

  Doria narrowed her eyes.

  “How did you escape?”

Vander’s gaze followed Leon, who was already walking away.

“That boy invaded Planet Krizard. Defeated three of áris’ children in front of me. Took us out of there… and somehow struck a deal with áris in exchange for XP.”

  He shook his head.

“I don’t know the details. But XP is free.”

  The hall erupted in cheers.

  Hope had returned.

  Leon’s Room

  The door opened quietly.

Leon lay on his bed, unconscious from exhaustion. Liu sat beside him, monitoring his condition.

Lara rushed forward and wrapped her arms around him.

“Thank you… thank you so much,” she whispered, tears falling freely. “What would my life even be without you?”

  Leon managed a faint smile.

“I’m just keeping the promise Lee trusted me with… protecting you.”

  His eyes closed again.

  Sleep claimed him instantly.

The Palace of áris – Council of the Five Elements

Torches of fire, water, earth, wind, and lightning illuminated the circular chamber.

Generals and elemental leaders stood around a massive stone table.

“This is clearly a trap,” declared the Fire General.

“Or an opportunity,” countered the Water Representative. “If he truly despises the Spilrians, we could gain everything.”

“He has no army,” growled the Earth Commander. “He cannot possibly succeed.”
