Xania returns later, her hair dragging on the floor as Anise and the queen look at her, not knowing how to react or what to say.
“Umm… My lord? What is this?” Anise asks while gesturing towards Xania’s hair. Specifically the part of her hair that is dragging on the floor.
“I don’t want to cut it, it’ll look terrible since I have no clue how to cut hair,” Xania said, passing the hat back to Anise.
“Right, I know how to cut hair, you know?” Anise said as Xania stared at her, clearly not believing her.
“Fine, just wait, I’ll show you once we get back,” Anise said while sliding a couple of documents from in front of her towards the queen who took a look at them before nodding and sliding them back. Xania watches and gets confused with a slight bit of curiosity but not enough to ask and potentially first of all, get a lecture from Anise about how she did all the work then secondly, onto political and business topics so Xania can understand what they’re talking about.
“Fine.” Xania reluctantly agreed as she leaned against the wall, playing with her tail bored as Anise turned back to the queen, talking about topics Xania had and still has absolutely no clue about before getting up and walking to Xania, “Let's go,” She said, grabbing Xania’s tail to stop her from swinging it around like a child anymore as she teleports them back.
“... This time’s demon lord is weird.” The queen thinks to herself as they teleport away.
As they reappear back in their bedroom, Anise materializes a chair and ties Xanias's tail to him, “Sit,” She said, pushing Xania onto it as she grabs Xania’s scythe out of her bracelet.
“Fine, but no cutting wrongly!” Xania shouts, still hesitant to let Anise try to cut her hair.
Anise struggles at first with the too big-sized scythe for cutting hair before slowly getting used to it, cutting Xania’s hair quickly, each cut made skillfully, surprising Xania.
“Where did you learn to cut hair?” Xania asks, too curious to hold back, especially since there aren’t any reasons not to this time.
“I was running for over 30 years, of course, my hair kept growing and I couldn’t turn into Rapunzel, could I? Anise asks, finally managing to cut Xania’s hair to match her height, similar to her old hairstyle but slightly since she is slightly shorter too.
Xania suddenly looks up at Anise, surprising her, “Hey, don’t do that or I may cut something wrong.” Anise said while pushing Xania’s head back to face ahead.
“Fine, but aren’t you almost done? Xania asks, annoying Anise as she grabs Xania’s tail again.

“I’m doing this to help you so stop questioning me or your tail goes bye along with your damn wings,” Anise said as Xania looks back up at her, using mana to numb any pain in hair tail before hitting it inside the blade of her scythe, causing her tail to be cut off as Anise stares at her, waiting for her to heal it back.
As Xania eventually heals it back, Anise pushes her head to look back at the front, muttering softly to herself, “Instead of a demon why not be a damn lizard.”
A while later, Anise finishes cutting Xania’s hair as she stands up, burning all the hair on her body and the floor.
“Now my lord, the elves agreed to give us any information they have on the humans and heroes and—” Anise said, getting interrupted halfway by telepathy from somebody as Xania tilted her head curiously.
As the telepathy to Anise ends, she sees Xania looking at her while tilting her head before sighing, “My lord, if you are curious about something you can just ask instead of staying silent,” Anise says as Xania considers it for a moment but Anise interrupts her thought, “Well for this situation you’re needed anyways.” Anise said as she grabbed Xanias's hand to pull her.
“Where are we going?” Xania asks as Anise keeps pulling them before getting lazy and teleporting them both to their castle walls and gate which Xania hasn’t even seen before since she just teleports in and out all the time.
Xania looks around curiously and confused as she notices a woman standing there, her hands raised to show that she means no harm with some humanoid demons pointing spears at her.
Upon closer inspection, Xania notices she looks oddly familiar before remembering that she was at the battlefield with the elves before the woman notices her and smiles slightly.
“Put down your spears and leave us be,” Anise says, her tone commanding and stern unlike what Xania is used to, surprising her slightly and glances over to Anise before turning her attention back to the woman’s face.
“Who is that?” Xania whispers soft enough for only Anise to hear or at least that’s what she thinks as the woman’s smile grows slightly wider, clearly having heard and confusing Xania even further.
“Greetings demon lord, my name is Lucinder, the ruler of the holy kingdom,” the woman admits, Anise’s expression becoming slightly more serious, “What…?” Xania says to herself softly due to this unexpected situation.
“May we talk?” The queen of the holy kingdom asks, still maintaining that smile on her face.
“About what?” Anise asks in a hostile tone, which is also new to Xania since Anise, despite ‘bullying her sometimes’ in her words doesn’t usually sound this hostile or rude.
“God,” The queen of the holy kingdom replies simply, her tone unwavering, showing no signs of lying which serves to irritate Anise further.
As Anise prepares a spell, Xania stops her just in time before firing her shot, the queen’s expression unchanging, showing no signs of caution, hostility, or even fear which piques Xania’s interest.
“What do you mean?” Xania asks instead of Anise this time who has already prepared another spell but hasn’t fired it yet.
“God has told me to deliver a message.” The religious ruler replies, slightly annoying Xania.
“So an imaginary being has told you to come to risk your life?” Xania asks, skeptical of her while crossing her arms.
“Oh but god is real, isn’t there a god helping you too? Hence your divinity despite not being part of the holy kingdom.” The religious ruler says, somewhat surprising Xania at her knowledge of her divinity.
“Indeed but my god is real and I don’t mindlessly believe in them. Besides, have you ever seen your god or have any evidence of their existence?” Xania asks, strongly believing that the queen in front of her will have nothing to refute.
The religious leader in front of her smiles slightly as Xania continues staring at her.
“The god of creation has descended.”
