Empowered, those with powers beyond human comprehension, have been a widespread phenomena for nearly two centuries. Most commonly seen in Duos or Trios, and rarely in Quartets, these abhuman powers are weak individually but vastly powerful when combined. However, there are the rare exceptions to this rule: the Solos, whose powers work with them and them alone.
