Volume 6. Chapter 36: Faking it for Safety! (Chapter 537.)

Chapter 36: Faking it for Safety!

  (Celia’s POV)

Me having an abundant amount of those Level Up Crystals isn’t that big of a longshot, as even if I didn’t have them, I still have so many SIPs to spend.

Luckily, since this was a modern apocalypse, the main currency was actually ammo, but it wasn’t like that in this city this time. Instead, it reverted to cast metal coins.

A very useful part of the System, and that is my original one, and this game one, is that you can convert your currency to whatever you want. So I was easily able to rent out a room for a long while.

Now, I didn’t mention it before, as I have… endless SIPs, but you can also buy stuff from the store with money. The problem for most Higher Beings, is that they rarely collect money.

So even if I did run out of SIPs, I could just use my practically infinite amount of money that I have stored up over the years. After purchasing a room for a few months, I was then guided up to it.

  Pomf!

Plopping on the bed, I feign acting weak once more. Then, I did something that the viewers would probably call crazy… I piled up thousands of those crystals on the bed, and then I started to eat them one by one.

The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

  Many, Many Hours Later.

I wasn’t hungry, but thankfully, these crystals didn’t act like food. And as I was already the max level for my current race, I didn’t get any EXP to fill me up, either.

With this massive effort, the wool should have been pulled over the viewer’s eyes, and I am safe from being banned. Well, hopefully…

Faith: “Quintillions of people probably cried while seeing you eat all of those crystals…” She said with a shocked tone.

Celia: “Why would they cry?” I ask with a head tilt.

Faith: “Because they’re worth so damn much! Only you would do something like this, wasting so much SIPs, all just to trick people!…” She clarified.

Celia: “Hey, it is far better than getting banned from the game. At this point, I don’t wish to leave it halfway. We still have to win and then kill that Will.” I reply with a serious tone.

Faith: “Well, before doing that, shouldn’t you focus on the third part of the game right now? With your display of gaining power, the viewers won’t raise a fuss about you retaining your power.” She suggested.

Celia: “Isn’t it still bad, though? I am far stronger than anyone in this dimension, so I will have an easy time.” I reply with a slightly remorseful tone.

Faith: “Most of them are rooting for you, Celia. Please recall that, if you do not win, your universe, and everyone from it, will be erased. Even if, deep down, they can tell that something is off with you, they won’t mind.” She said with a stern tone.

  Celia: “…”

I guess that is true. Despite it being called a game, this was still a very important thing that I must win. Rather than not having my universe erased, I will also save every other universe as well. With all that said… I should go to my next target!
