There it was.
Holly watched with her own eyes on the screen while the Water-Plant Gilbert opened the safe and visibly started to panic.
The Gilbert next to her, who recently took a serum for the day, watched without an ounce of pity as his fellow Gilbert realized he had no serums left.
“Where’s he headed?” Higgins said as the waterplant Gilbert rushed off the screen.
The Gilbert appeared on screen again in the women’s bathroom in the out-of-order stall. He frantically flushed the toilet and it split the wall behind the toilet and it opened slowly like a sliding door.
Gilbert rushed into the opening and disappeared off-screen.
Holly stirred with excitement. Her gut feeling paid off.
“We need to call in a raid squad. Have them ready to strike on my signal in the next few hours,” She said. They found their target. Now they needed to strike as quickly as possible.
“I’m on it!” Higgins said and rushed out of the room.
Holly pulled out her phone and dialed into FBI headquarters. They connected her with SAC brown and she explained the situation. “Sir, we need to mobilize SWAT or a Task force as soon as possible. Whatever you can get me in the next few hours. This threat could go national if we don’t strike now.”

SAC Brown was silent for a concerning amount of time, “Holly, I know you want your first big case, but calling something like this in is not a light thing to do.”
Holly’s eyes went wide at the accusation, “Sir, I would never blow things out of proportion for personal gain. This is serious.”
“You haven’t even gotten confirmation from the Bio team we sent you and now you’re calling in a raid?” SAC Brown said.
“The Bio team you sent is not even here yet,” Holly said through gritted teeth. She took a breath, “With all due respect, sir, I need you to take this far more seriously. This is not the time for careful, procedural research. I have documented evidence of a woman being abducted from her home, eyewitness accounts of people being murdered for breaking NDA’s, I’ve seen a man be eaten by his own brain, and you’re telling me I'm blowing things out of proportion. I’m willing to stake my career on this, so please do whatever is necessary to get me a team in the next few hours.”
There was a long sigh from the other end of the phone, “I’ll send a small strike squad. That’s all you get, Special Agent. They’ll be at your location in no less than five hours. For your sake, don’t screw this up.”
The call ended before Holly could respond. It left her feeling strange. She hadn’t thought much of how hands off her superiors had been with her so far, but after getting so much resistance, it put the lack of involvement in a new light. Could it be what Holly had interpreted as trust in her abilities was actually a lack of willingness to provide her with resources?
Holly shook the thought off. It made no sense for something like that to be the case. SAC Brown was just having a bad day and was too busy to give Holly his full attention. It had to be something like that.
Regardless of the reason, Holly now had a strike squad coming in five hours. She needed to organize Higgins and get ready for the raid. There were lives on the line and there were no second chances.
