[Primordial Artifact] : [Every Primordial Artifact is Unique; however, not all Uniques are primordial artifacts. Only a single one of them can exist at any given time. They are items that existed from the time of the Universe’s creation. They appeared alongside it and will even remain after its death.]
?
[Primordial Moon Essence] : [The very first drop of Moon Essence ever created by the Moon Realm.]
?
These new infos allowed Akhenamen to realise how much more complex World Quests were. He had been lucky to be an Aspect and Lune’s brother. Yes, that was the Guardian’s nickname. Her true name is a well-guarded secret.
?
If he hadn’t, he would have to convince or fight a tier eight aspect to get the Primordial Moon Essence. And most likely fight the entire realm, too. He stored the Primordial Artifact in his Inventory and looked back toward Lune, who was sitting down in front of him. A humble table of carved marble was between them as the horrifying rabbit was softly drinking some tea.
?
“Do you want some brother?”
?
[Analyse]
?
“Oh.. don’t trust me?”
?
“No, it’s simply that last time someone stronger than me proposed some drinks, it was some stat boosting stuff. So I was curious.”
?
[Lune’s Moon Tea] : [Lune’s own creation, this tea, while useless to any non-moon-related race or Transcendents, is surprisingly tasty and quite sugary.]
?
“A fan of sugar, I see…”
?
A melodious laugh came from Lune while Sapphyra was sitting down next to him, looking both extremely scared and intrigued. Constantly sneaking looks at Akhenamen’s tea. Wondering who the simple Cygilite she had almost killed could be.
?
“I am, yes. Do take a cup, Sapphyra. It’ll be quite helpful to your stats and mastery of the Moonlit Knowledge Divine Law you practice. Come on… just take the cup… It’s in my hand. Nothing to be scared of.”
?
Akhenamen watched the interaction silently… Lune was having great fun in making Sapphyra constantly scared and terrified of her. Releasing her entire might on Sapphyra. Was that revenge for almost killing him? Her “little brother”?
?
“Tell me, Lune. I’m curious about a few things… What is the name of the ranks beyond Dominion, and how do we reach them?”
?
“I’ll happily answer, dear brother! It goes as follows… Dominion, Mandate, Providence, Axiom, Singularity, Absolute. I’m currently a Singularity.”
?
Wow… she was one rank above what Akhenamen had expected. He was quite surprised.
?
“The stat requirement is indeed still there, however… uh.. how to explain this without you having experienced it yet.”
?
“I..I believe I could explain. Lady Lu-”
?
“You will call me Guardian, Sapphyra. My name is reserved for those who did not try to kill those I consider family. Now do explain.”
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
?
Sapphyra gulped and nodded before turning toward Akhenamen. Most Thrones never learned how to actually ascend to the rank of an Authority. It was a closely guarded secret by the gods. One, they used to attract newcomers to their “godly factions”.
?
“To ascend beyond the Throne rank requires you to fully master a Divine Intent and turn it into a Divine Law. Either by mastering other suitable and compatible Divine Intents, which will naturally make it evolve into its own Divine Law. Or by understanding your Divine Intent so deeply, you start to understand the Divine Law that created it.”
?
Akhenamen nodded; he had already known about that part, but… he looked toward Lune, silently asking her a question with his eye. Only a fellow Aspect would understand.
?
“No, brother. Our kind isn’t a skip, sadly. You will still have to find and master… “true” Divine Law.”
?
“I thought we couldn’t accept anything that isn’t at our level.”
?
“That’s just because some aspects are far more tyrannical than others. You must tame and make your powers understand that you control them. Not the opposite. Then you’ll be able to take in a Divine Intent or Law.”
?
Akhenamen felt almost disappointed that his Aspect wasn’t some sort of skip, as he had believed he would be able to skip the “understanding the heaven and earth” part of his journey. Sadly, it seemed like he couldn’t.
?
“Thanks, Lune.”
?
He took a sip of the tea, and it was indeed sweet. Quite tasty. The liquid, refined by a tier nine being even able to touch and be tasted not just by his soul but by his robotic body too. Gave him a few shivvers. Sapphyra kept going with her explanation, seeing that the two were done talking.
?
“To ascend past the realm of Authority and become a Dominion, you must use your Divine Law or Laws to craft yourself a Divine Body. You already saw a part of mine, just like you’re seeing a part of the Guardian’s.”
?
“I see… but why do all the Divine Bodies look so…”
?
“Horrifying to a mortal’s mind?”
?
“Yes.”
?
“Well, that’s related, but get ready, we’re going to go pretty deep in the real power of this Universe. At and beyond the rank of Dominion, you do not use magic or ki to fight anymore. You use your law to power everything. Your law is a natural creation which forces the universe itself to bend to your will.”
?
“However, to keep things safe for itself, the universe enforces a law that all Transcendents at and beyond the fifth rank must obey. They cannot stay “mortal” anymore. They become gods. And gods are not mortal…”
?
“The body they had once inhabited slowly but surely dematerialized under their own power and strength. So a god must craft itself a Divine Body. A body which becomes a structured reality itself can interact without destroying it.”
?
Akhenamen stayed silent as he would sometimes take a sip of his tea. Thinking to himself that letting go of his mortal body shouldn’t be too hard, as he was, after all, just a robot. He could disregard his body as he wished. However, his body also gave him his stats. So he had a problem… he would have to most likely use Cygilites tech to help in crafting a Divine Body that gave him stats too.
?
“As for why mortals go insane if they try to see our true body.. It’s because a Divine Body exists across multiple timelines, allowing some gods, not all, to be able to see the past, future, and even interact with it to a small degree.”
?
“Secondly, it’s also more conceptual than matter. Yet the mortal mind keeps trying to see us in our totality, which means suddenly being assaulted by ALL the knowledge our Divine Laws represent. It simply cannot take it and just breaks or goes insane to protect itself.”
?
“It tries to create shapes where there are none, put eyes, mouths, ears, and faces when there are none… and I could keep going. A god’s true form is a nightmare fuel to mortals because seeing our true Divine Bodies would be even worse for their psyche.”
?
“This is why our true bodies are hidden behind layers of illusions and matter manipulations to protect mortals from seeing our true selves.”
?
He nodded at Sapphyra’s explanation. It made sense. He had experienced it himself when he interacted with The Color. A being from outside this universe that was maybe the most mysterious and powerful being he had met and would ever meet.
?
His mortal mind had barely understood that its true shape was similar to an unknown color, and that he got his spirit was instantly shattered. Now that he thought about it… Maybe the reason he had been put in a robotic body wasn’t because of luck or shits and giggles from the Color but because it was the only body that could keep his broken psyche and mind from going fully insane by being forcefully assimilated to an artificial intelligence that acted more logical than emotional.
?
“That explains many things… thanks, Sapphyra. What about how to actually craft that Divine Body? What are the steps? As a construct, I must prepare myself to craft a conceptual and yet physical body. I’d rather start as soon as possible.”
?
“It’s in five steps… each step is done after every rank. At the Authority, you start by severing yourself from your body. It’s where almost every Transcendent fails; most do not ascend to the rank of Dominion, as failure means death. Your body is permanently destroyed, and your spirit fractured forever.”
?
“The second step demands them to bind a concept of a Divine Law into their Divine Bodies when they become a Dominion. It’s where I am at.”
?
“The third step is to the Reality Imprint. This is where you must start… spreading your faith in a way. To have your worshippers solidify your existence as a being part of reality itself.”
?
“The fourth step is the Imposition. When a god imposes their very being into reality. I don’t know much about how to do that. Just that this should be the step Lady Guardian must be at.”
?
“And the fifth is the Transcendence. I know nothing about it other than its name.”
?
Akhenamen now had most of the information related to his ascension. His future memories did not include anything about how to reach a higher Transcendent rank, only what he needed to obtain to do so. He knew that for his ascension to an Authority, he should start preparing his Divine Body right away. He needed to obtain Divine Laws… at least one and then prepare his Divine Body alongside Oleron and Cygislax’s defenses.
?
He had five years until Project Rebirth officially launched. And around two years before the Beta Test. His goal was the following… Oleron and Cygislax would be fully ready by the time of the Beta, and he would then work exclusively toward his Divine Body for the last three years before launch.
