He also tested his new skill. It was strange. At first he could only summon green cube, those cubes could vary in size and seemed to be able to appear anywhere in his sight. He could summon them easily but trying to change the shape of one was impossible.
He could summon a shape from a similar one, like summoning a rectangle from a cube.
After a bit of experimentation and trying to change the cube’s effect, which for now didn’t seem that interesting as it did nothing but exist at a given time and place, he suddenly had an idea.
“Syllena, I need you to go through my memories of my human life and find some really old ones from my days as a student in a science class. We were talking about something called a neutron star.”
[We will try and find, give us some moments.]
“Thanks.”
While Syllena was searching for this very old memory, David was thinking of how to use this skill. The obvious one was protecting himself by summoning cubes or rectangles in front of him to stop an attack.
Or summon them to carry something or someone on top of them. Which he was practicing by lifting Sofya’s unconscious body on top of a rectangle.
“When is that girl gonna wake up?”
[Done!]
“Really? Amazing! I need you to tell me precisely the formation of a neutron star! How does it become one?”
[A neutron star is formed from a star’s death. Any star with a M☉ of 8 can become one.]
“Damn it. Didn’t think of that. So if I remember right a star is composed of around 90% of Helium and 10 of Hydrogen. They are created from clouds of matter floating in space which under gravity, self implode, making an immense amount of heat, creating the star core.”
[That’s a rather simple description but yes it’s correct, and this stellar core becomes able to create an immense amount of heat that it’s constantly expelling from its core which stops gravity from collapsing the star again.]
[And when all the star’s hydrogen is consumed, a big boom happens which leads to such a high density pressure on the core and the atoms that it becomes a Neutron Star.]
“Great, so now..I first have to make a star.”
[What are you trying to do?]
“I can’t really make those shapes do much damage, they are too light and can shatter extremely easily. However, since I can control the dimensions inside those shapes…what if I made them with at their core a neutron star to increase the shape’s weight and solidity?”
[Can you do it?]
“With magic I could never, but this is science and this mini-dimension has no other effects on the real world, it just creates a new dimension that’s pretty much made to be temporary. Once I understand how to quickly create a dimension containing a neutron star I could make shapes so tough, heavy and strong that I could truly fight with them!”

David smiled, he was very lucky to have someone like Syllena on his side, in the meantime he was now creating a star in the cube’s dimension, he knew the first few would take a long time to make from all the experiments and try out he’d have to do, but the more he’d succeed, the faster it would go.
Creating the star was easy, David just pictured atoms inside the cubes : neutrons, protons, he made them all. All this was turned into mainly hydrogen with quite a few others of the dozens of ingredients composing a stellar core.
And when they were all present, he started to inflict a high level of gravity upon them. However everything went so fast that barely did he feel happy that he had made a star that was soon extinguished right after.
And it was far from the necessary mass to become a neutron star.
While people would think it didn't make sense for a florist to know how to make all that, well, David was helped by Syrenna telling about long forgotten memories and classes he had taken when he was much younger, and most importantly, the skill allowed to imitate a process without needing the precise scientific knowledge.
In fact it was almost like some sort of city builder game, except you were building a dimension from the ground up.
All this added made David, someone with no real knowledge on nuclear physics or astronomy, able to experiment and slowly sharpen his skills in making a neutron star.
If at first he tried to make it stable, he realised he didn’t need that, he only needed to make a star big enough that it would create a neutron star after its collapse. He changed strategy and applied a great amount of Hydrogen, much much more this time.
And indeed he was right, freezing the time inside the cube right at the creation of the neutron star, the cube floating above his hand, as big as a baby’s head was now carrying a weight so heavy that it could only be counted as in unit called M☉ , also called sun masses.
Now saying this neutron star was small is wrong, a neutron star tended to have a radius of six miles for a mass of 1.4 M☉. Of course, the bigger the star exploding the bigger the neutron star.
The cube had turned a dark blood like red and kept its crystalline almost holographic appearance. Its weight was so great that if David wasn’t able to negate it for himself, dropping the cube would make an impact so great it could cause the city of Kork to collapse and most likely far more as it would be like a sun falling on a planet.

David stared at the system’s window blaring bright red, realising that he had apparently created something powerful enough that it was a threat to Zenthia itself.
The System wouldn’t so easily allow a being that wasn’t even an Ancestor to be able to casually slam a sun into the continent it was supposed to protect.
David just hoped he wasn’t gonna get punished or have his privileges removed or even his new skill massively nerfed as Jacob would say.

David would let out a sigh if he could, he looked at his skill, curious about the changes.
[Cygilites Tri-Astomath’s Manipulation] [Sealed] : A skill which allows any Cygilites to be able to summon crystalized dimensions as 3D shapes, of a simple design, each designed by the User with different abilities and effects.

“Well that’s harsh but also good. It seems the System wasn’t upset that I got the ability to make a cube that’s as heavy as 1,4 times a sun, but that I could do it too early. Ten million tons…”
“It’s still very big and heavy and I doubt many beings can resist this weight already. And now I can place stuff within the shapes? Maybe I could build an entire home inside! We’ll see about that later.”
If the System allowed that, it meant that David couldn’t underestimate any Transcendent beings, after all the System pretty much unlocked and allowed all his skill’s planned effect and more once he’d reach the Throne level.
The others Transcendent had to have some insanely strong special skills and spells too. He couldn’t assume that he was the only one with a broken skill and privileges. Even more with genuine protagonists like Sofya running around.

David didn’t take note of Syllena’s slip up, having been concentrating on reading his new skill. But her face did bring him out of his reflection.
“Twenty three times? Guess we better get started now! I’ll just leave Sofya here for now, it’s the day outside so unless she wanna get burned alive or get eaten by a Ravager she won’t be leaving anytime soon. Let’s start this dungeon farming then!”
[Let’s go, boss!]
“I was downgraded to boss instead of big boss?!”
