If Ji-Soo’s mood was terrible before, now it’s even worse.
She might play badly, but she doesn’t like being insulted for it. And now this guy, Jin-Woo, that asshole, just has to rub it in like salt on an open wound?
This guy is definitely asking for it.
Ji-Soo stood up, storming powerfully toward the direction of Jin-Woo’s voice. Even now, his voice still echoes throughout the internet cafe like the laughter of a monkey.
Her classmates tried to stop her. Do-Min even asked as he pulled her on the arm:
“Hey, stop, if you get into an argument with him. We’ll be banned!”
“I don’t care,” Ji-Soo said, glaring back. “He’s asking for it.”
She continued to storm toward the direction of Jin-Woo’s voice. Ha-Joon saw it, but didn’t comment on it. He knows there was no stopping her when she’s this pissed.
When she arrived, Jin-Woo just sat comfortably in his seat. Leaning back without a care in the world while chatting with his buddies. The rich kids of the school. Well, except one who dressed somewhat differently from the others.
Unlike Jin-Woo or his buddies, this male student doesn’t have shiny clothes or a brand-name backpack. He didn’t even have proper shoes either. It looked worn out.
Ji-Soo gave the boy a glance, curious by the contrast, but paid it no mind and turned her attention back to Jin-Woo. Jin-Woo looked at her with widened eyes, legs spread casually on his chair.
“What’s your problem? Got something to say?”
If glare could kill, Ji-Soo would have already murdered somebody.
“Apologized,” Ji-Soo said, her voice dripped with an icy cold.
Jin-Woo looked at her, confused.
“For what?”
“About me being trashed at game.”
Jin-Woo took a few seconds to register what Ji-Soo was saying. Then his eyes lit up.
“That was you?!” Jin-Woo exclaimed. Then he hugged his stomach to hold back his laugh.
“Pfht! You’re actually so trashed, haha.”
Ji-Soo’s face flushed red like a ripe tomato, then immediately darkened.
The watchers: “...” He’s about to get beaten up…
Ji-Soo: ‘I’ve been enduring this kid for too long…’
“You spoiled brat. If you dare say one more word–”
“Then what?” Jin-Woo interrupted. “Are you going to beat me up? You?”
Jin-Woo looked Ji-Soo up and down. His gaze was full of blatant mockery.
“You’re just a girl. Stay home and do the dishes! Haha, you see what I did there?” Jin-Woo continued, then turned his attention to his buddies, who immediately laughed along with him.

Except one. The only one that isn’t a rich kid and the only one who pays close attention to Ji-Soo. He reached out his hand and tried to tell Jin-Woo to stop, but it was too late.
With a swish, Ji-Soo’s fist had already landed on Jin-Woo’s jaw. His cheeks wobbled like one of those slow motion video on the internet before it crashed face-first into the carpet floor with a thud.
Everyone: O_O
That wasn’t all. After he fell on the floor, Ji-Soo charged forward and repeatedly stomp on him like a trash bag. Again, again, and again.
Ji-Soo’s classmates restrained her before she could step on him any longer. Still, she had already landed a few hits. Her footprint was already visible on his previously flawless white shirt.
Jin-Woo’s friend also immediately went on to check on him.
“Dude, are you okay?!”
“Do I look like I am?!” Jin-Woo barked, fuming with anger.
Jin-Woo’s lips were already bleeding quite seriously, but he also wasn’t one to back down. He wiped his bleeding lips with his thumb, then stood up and charged at Ji-Soo like a hungry mad dog.
Ji-Soo, who was being restrained, noticed and immediately broke free.
She, too, charges at him like there’s no tomorrow. Two charging objects. Only one come out. They collided, but quite differently. Jin-Woo tried to grip Ji-Soo’s long hair before the collision, but his vision suddenly went blurred.
‘What happened?’ He thought. ‘Why is it so dark?’
Everyone gape.
Ji-Soo’s feet had somehow find it way onto Jin-Woo’s face. She had raised her leg so high to kick his face that she had unknowingly flashed all those around her.
Everyone: “...” Does this girl have no decency? So vulgar!
Ha-Joon was so surprised that he even dropped his chopsticks and his rice paper salad.
Now, Jin-Woo lay on the ground limply with shoe marks on his face while staring back at Ji-Soo with his dumbfounded expression.
“You–you. How dare you? Do you know who I am?!” Jin-Woo barked, fuming.
Ji-Soo crossed her arms.
“Who are you?” She asked, seemingly unbothered. Is there anyone in this world who knew him more than her? She knows everything about him. Including his childhood, his crush, and even his fetishes.
“I’m the son of your mother’s boss! Don’t you know that? I will get my dad to fire your mother.”
JI-Soo: Is this guy serious?
“Yeah, I’m not even going to bother asking about how you know my mom–”
The moment Ji-Soo said that, Jin-Woo’s expression faltered slightly.
“But you think I’m not smart enough to know that your father probably doesn’t like you either? No one liked you, and you know that.” Ji-Soo continued.
“Who are you to speak like that? You don’t even know me,” Jin-Woo barked while still lying on the carpet floor, clutching his throbbing chest.
“Yes, I definitely don’t know you, but is it so hard to infer? With your pathetic action, would you think anyone would like you genuinely?”
Jin-Woo: What?
Jin-Woo was so shocked. He couldn’t utter a single word to refute it and could only stare at her like a lost soul.
If it weren’t for the fact that he’s the male protagonist of this world, he probably would just stay a loser his whole life. Asking people why everything was his fault.
In that sense, he is truly lucky indeed. Born into the richest family. Lived a comfortable life. Never had to experience hardship. And in the end, he also got the prettiest girl in the school to fall for him. The sassy class president who had the love of countless men, including Ji-Soo’s brother. But maybe having a comfortable life is the reason why he is the way he is.
Ji-Soo turned around, away from Jin-Woo to face her classmates and brother.
“Lets leave. Lest the cafe owner come and force us to pay for the damage,” Ji-Soo said, walking past them as if nothing had just happened.
Ha-Joon didn’t say anything and just followed her. He knows full well the personality of his sister. He could only shake his head in resignation.
The other classmates, including Do-Min, also looked at each other, giving Jin-Woo a quick glance before immediately following Ji-Soo.
The classmates: Tomorrow's class is going to be suffocating…

“Hey, what are you going to do now?” Ki-Tae said, looking at Jin-Woo, who was still sprawling on the ground.
Jin-Woo looked at Ki-Tae, then back at the ground.
“I don’t know,” he said, rubbing his temple. “I need some time to think.”
“Man, that girl… Pretty as she is, her mouth is foul as fuck! I pity you, my man,” One of Jin-Woo’s buddies said, patting his shoulder like they understood his pain. Jin-Woo swatted the hand away. He wasn’t in the mood.
“Yeah, you definitely have to fire her mother. You said your dad is her boss, right? Do it. Teach her a lesson,” another said, as he tried to lift Jin-Woo off the floor.
Jin-Woo let himself be lifted up, but didn’t answer the question. He pondered for a moment before turning into one of his friends. The only poor guy in the group.
“What do you think, Yisan? You’re just like her. What are your thoughts?”
The moment Jin-Woo said that, everyone’s attention immediately turned to the poor boy. He immediately became flustered, unsure of what to say. He had just been invited to join them on a whim by Jin-Woo. In truth, he didn’t truly belong to this group, so Jin-Woo’s question was like a knife being held in by his stomach.
One wrong word meant he would get kicked out. He didn’t want that. He wanted to belong in this social circle for a bit longer. He wanted to enjoy the money that they frequently threw around like nothing. But not saying anything wouldn’t work either, so he gathered up his words and said, “Yeah, I think you should do that too. That will teach her a lesson, and maybe you could even make her your girl. That girl begging on the ground in tears would probably be satisfying, right? Right?”
Everyone’s expression changed. The room felt cold.
He had said something wrong. His stomach tightened. Nervousness enveloped him.
But what? Didn’t they just say the same thing just a moment ago? Why is it suddenly a problem when he says it?
“My god, you’re a hardcore bro,” Ki-Tae said, trying to lighten the mood.
“Aren’t you the same type as her? I didn’t know you could be so cruel to your own kind,” One of Jin-Woo’s rich friends said, his eyes carrying a hint of mockery. Like they and Yisan don’t belong to the same world.
“Shut up,” Jin-Woo got annoyed and said. “I will consider it later. But sorry, Yisan. I know you like that, but even I wouldn’t go that far.”
Jin-Woo gave a smile of understanding.
Yisan: “...” Why would you even say you would consider it later then???
A staff member suddenly walked over.
“Did you kids cause this mess?” The male staff said as he looked at the mess on the ground.
Jin-Woo just gave the man a slight glance, pulled out a stack of money, and handed it to him. The staff grabbed it, dumbfounded. It could cover the man’s salary for a few months!.
“Let's go,” Jin-Woo said. “I don’t wanna be here any longer.”
