I have no idea what happens after that, I know nothing at all until I wake up in the morning. The sun is already up when I wake up, which feels fairly weird to me, but the girls are still asleep. They have me pinned in place, as usual, but I don’t mind, they are all smiling in their sleep.
My most important goal for the honeymoon is that we all come away with good memories. Those memories will help to bolster us during any stressful and trying times ahead. Being surrounded by my beautiful, smiling wives who love me will definitely comfort me later.
I can’t help but smile as I watch them sleep, even though the future is uncertain. No matter what happens, I will do everything in my power to make sure that my family survives it. If the worst comes to the worst, I will gate all of them into Seronia’s realm or to another mortal realm.
Today is our last day, tomorrow we will have to return to the empire and get back to work. My next task is to visit the dragon and ask all of my questions, but before that I want to spend some time with my kids. Having been away from them for an entire week, I miss them and their antics.
I figure I can take a day or two to spend with them and check on the rest of the government. I’m sure that things came up while we’ve been gone and I want to see what everyone did. They obviously handled things, or found a way to put them off until I get back to handle them.
I have been checking the network communications, but no one other than Lizzy has messaged me. She ran out of obelisks again, but said that she doesn’t mind waiting since she found a nice spot. She didn’t tell me what the spot is, but I guess I will see it when I take her more obelisks.
The others have been using the network to talk to each other and discuss things. That makes me happy, that is exactly what I was hoping that they would use it for. It gives me hope that soon the government will be able to handle most things without me.
Between Stillwater, my wives, and the others, they should be able to handle most things. At least until the demon war actually begins, but I hope to have everything else done by then. Of course, that will depend on how many new things get added to my to-do list between now and then.
Hopefully, at some point I am going to stop finding new things that need to be done. It would be really nice if I could actually complete my to-do list sometime before the war. Knowing my luck, I will only finish it days before the war starts, if I even manage to finish it.
Of course, the war will have its own to-do list, but that is a different story altogether. I am not about to start worrying about that yet, it is too far ahead and would be a waste of time. Time that would be much better spent making a few more memories with my wives.

When I pull myself out of my thoughts and take a look, I find that they are all still sound asleep. Taking an idea from Myria, I shapeshift into my bunny form and wriggle free of the pile. A couple of the girls attempt to grab me in their sleep, but I manage to dodge their attempts.
Once free of the bed, I head outside to the pile of obelisks and start enchanting them. Despite the many distractions, Lin did help me figure out the best enchantments to use on them. She also figured out where the best places to place them to create formations are.
I probably don’t have enough time before the girls wake up to place the obelisks, but I should be able to enchant most of them. I should probably figure out a spell that I can cast on the bed that will inform me when they wake up. That way I can rush back and hopefully get there before they are fully awake.
That way I won’t have any reason to feel guilty, but it is a little late to think of that now. I go with the next best thing, using Divided Mind to keep a scrying spell active to watch the girls. I enchant as many obelisks as I can, but stop when I see Lin starting to stir and rush back to the room.
Lin whispers “Were you working on the obelisks?”
“Yes, but I was keeping an eye on you.”
Myria says “Is it morning already?”
Lin laughs and says “Yes. Yes, it is.”
Their conversation, while quiet, is enough to get the others to start waking up. Once everyone is awake, I join them in bed and we have fun feeding each other breakfast. There is a lot of teasing and laughter and we end up making a fairly big mess, but it is worth it.
Once we are done, all it takes is a few spells to clean up the bed and all of us. After breakfast, things get a little more serious as I take out a map of the peninsula. Then I start teaching the avatars about what we have done so far and the current situation.
After that, I start explaining some of my plans and the way I think things are likely to go. It isn’t a very good topic for a honeymoon, but it is information they will need starting tomorrow. I use illusions to show the avatars what people look like so that they will know most of the important people.
They have heard all about my kids, so I also show illusions of them so that they know who is who. I will be introducing them to the kids as soon as we get back, which should be interesting. I am sure that the kids will like them once they get to know them, but there might be a few issues.
The kids know what Krenocia and Seronia look like, so they should recognize them immediately. I don’t plan to hide anything from them or Bella, I will explain everything. However, other than them I plan to keep the identity of the avatars a secret as much as I can.
Luckily, most of their statues don't really look like them, so it should be doable. I will probably have them pretend to just be normal priestesses, that shouldn’t raise too many questions. I am already known as the goddesses’ champion, so having priestesses with me shouldn’t be too strange.
Besides, I run around a lot, so they are more likely to be seen as my wives’ advisors. I think that that will be enough to protect them and keep the beastmen from raising a fuss. They will probably need a period of time to learn and adjust, but that shouldn’t be a problem.
I may have a lot of things to do, but they should have a period of quiet that will allow them to learn. I don’t try to teach them everything, just give them some basic information. The girls will help them learn everything else they need to know after the honeymoon.
