  Lin says “What offer? Are they still trying to convince you to become a god?”

  “Yes, they are. Their offer this time was six goddesses as wives.”

  Myria says “Where are they going to find four more goddesses to marry you?!”

  Lin says “They don’t need to, they want to make the four of us into goddesses. Right, Ash?”

  “Yeah, that’s the offer.”

  Myria says “Seriously?!”

  Brightfire says “We would become goddesses? Really?!”

  Lin says “Yes. If Ash becomes a god.”

  Mercy says “But Ash doesn’t want to become a god, right?”

  “No, I don’t. Unless I can figure out how to become an ancient god.”

  Lin says “Why does that matter?”

  “Ancient gods don’t have to follow as many rules. Either that, or I could try and become a dragon god, but I don’t know if that is a thing. I plan to ask the dragon when I see him. However, if you want to become goddesses, it might happen even if I don’t become a god.”

  Myria says “What do you mean?”

  “Well, the goddesses want to rebuild their pantheon and some of you have the potential. If it is something that you want to do, then I can help you along that path even if I don’t become a god myself.”

  Lin says “It is something that we will need to take some time and seriously consider. I have already decided that I want to follow that path, but the goddesses mentioned it to me a while ago. Each of you should decide for yourselves what you want to do.”

  “There is no rush to decide, but think about what you want to do. Keep in mind that it would mean living forever and following all the rules that the gods have to follow.”

  Lin says “After the honeymoon, we will spend some time in the soulscape with the goddesses so that you can ask them any questions you might have.”

  Mercy says “That would be good, I have a lot of questions.”

  Myria says “Me too!”

  “Like I said, there is no rush. You can think about it after the honeymoon is over. This is not the kind of decision that can be made lightly.”

  Brightfire says “What did you mean about helping us along the path?”

  “For the goddesses to be able to help you ascend you have to have enough power of your own. My help will be in reaching that level of power.”

  “More like you than Myria. Her’s was a special case and ended up being far more dangerous than planned. I would prefer to avoid going through that situation again. I don’t want to risk Brightfire or Mercy if I can help it.”

  Mercy says “We appreciate that!”

  Brightfire says “Even if there is some risk, I want to get stronger! I don’t know about becoming a goddess, but I want to be stronger than I am now.”

  “Alright, we can do that.”

  Mercy says “I also don’t know what I want to do yet, but I don’t see a reason not to get stronger if I can.”

  “Alright, we will take care of that after the honeymoon. I will need to figure out what the best option for each of you will be.”

  Lin says “You are thinking of using the essence from the kids again right?”

  “Yeah. I am thinking that Albion will be a great match for Brightfire, but I am not sure who would match Mercy.”

  Lin says “You didn’t worry this much with me, why is that?”

  “Because your primary thing is magic and while Mulan is more fire based, she is definitely magic based. She was a good match for you. The only better match would be a dragon or something else with similar magical abilities. Mulan was the best option out of all of my kids. I considered things carefully before even suggesting it to you.”

  Lin says “Sorry. I should have known that.”

  “It’s alright. We never really discussed it.”

  Lin says “Just out of curiosity, could you use your own essence instead of the kids’?”

  “I should be able to, but I have no idea what might happen. I am not a dragon, yet. In fact, I am not sure exactly what I am right now. It might cause unknown issues.”

  Mercy says “I know that I am the new girl in the group, but I would prefer not to be used for experiments.”

  Lin says “No, I wasn’t suggesting that, I was just curious.”

  Myria says “Now you sound like Ash!”

  Lin says “I may sound like him, but I have way more self control. I am not going to do an experiment just to see what would happen.”

  Myria says “Unless it involves magic, right?”

  Lin says “That’s an entirely different story. That is to advance my knowledge of magic and my experiments are always strictly controlled!”

  “Be careful, she is a little touchy when it comes to magic.”

  Lin says “One second, we need to get dressed. First impressions matter!”

  Seronia says “Yes, we did. It was actually really easy, we made them hours ago. We just wanted to brief them on some things before sending them over.”

  “What kind of things?”

  Seronia says “We just wanted to make sure that they weren’t too innocent before they met you.”

  “You make me sound like some kind of horrible man who goes around corrupting innocent women!”

  Seronia says “Other than the horrible part, I’d say that’s pretty accurate. I now know exactly what you are like and what you are going to do to my innocent avatar.”

  “Hey! I am not that bad!”

  Lin says “Okay, we are ready.”

  The girls are all dressed now, not that it takes long with shapeshifting clothes, but their hair is also fixed.
