Rodrick
“Your majesty please!” My young Nekojin advisor cried out as the large wolf fell over dead. I stood and looked over to her with a raised eyebrow.
“What be the problem lass? I am just having a bit of fun!” As I spoke I put my bowler hat back on and tipped it towards her with a smirk. “Besides, these wolves are great for me’ momma’s famous porkchop!”
“As king you shouldn’t have to fight these battles yourself! My mother made me promise to make sure you made it safely!” She insisted in that cute way that all Nekojin did. Her little ears twitched stubbornly and her tail lashed angrily. I held back my smile as best I could.
“You needn’t worry darling. I handled the easy part for ye. You get the hard part. This lovely tender ain’t gonna cook itself and..” I gently brushed my hand against a tree and it blackened. “It needs a fine lady’s delicate touch.”
Her cheeks flushed red and I saw a bit of blood leave her nose. I winked at her and she looked away. “Your majesty.. we.. we really shouldn’t.. but..”
“Oh, I disagree darling!” I said charmingly as I stepped forward and gently caressed her cheek before leaning in and whispering softly. “How else is the entourage following us gonna eat?”
She froze and her cheeks got redder.
“What.. what entourage..” She said weakly. I just smiled and pulled a cutting knife from my satchel. Handing it to her and saying “Let’s get cooking shall we?”
She looked into my eyes for a long moment before walking past me to the large wolf creature. “You know it’s not nice to tease the poor girl.” The voice came from nearby and I shook my head.
“Where be the fun in that!” I said jovially. Turning to the voice as she formed from the shadows. Like her daughter, her long black hair went down to her waist. Her dark purple eyes promised violence. A woman after me own heart. Unlike her daughter, she was not impressed and simply shook her head.
“You know better your Majesty. Or do I need to pull out the treaty again?” Her words were casual, yet they held a promise of a punishment anything but.
Three hundred years and I still hated paperwork. “Aye, but didn’t I make it a law that it be your job to do all that fancy paper stuff?” I asked sweetly.
She looked at me unfazed as she pulled out a form and I visibly winced. “Now darling, we can talk this out yea? We be in Trelloark. This place is dangerous, not the place for paperwork!” I tried to reason with the mad woman.
She raised an eyebrow and said “But it’s perfectly fine to cook and eat a whole wolf?”
Seeing this coming I opened my mouth and instantly shut it as her eyes flashed dangerously. I knew better than to upset the lass.
Her shoes were extremely painful and her daughter judged me for it.
I mumbled under my breath as I looked away. “The regent never treated me this way. She is such a sweetheart..”
I instinctively caught the first shoe. That was a mistake. She vanished from sight and I quickly pulled up my dark barrier. She appeared moments later and kicked hard onto the barrier. Cracks formed along the edge right as her daughter pulled out her hammer. She looked uneasy and I braced myself to get attacked from both sides.

“You can’t really think I am just going to take that hit do you my dear?” I said with a smirk as she flipped off the barrier, using her momentum to push off and disappear again.
I quickly repaired the barrier and looked over at Kita. The young Nekojin looked seriously at me and I smirked. “You can’t genuinely think you can win do you?”
She ignored my comment and continued to stare. After a moment she suddenly burst forward and swung hard. To my surprise, she swung to the left and her hammer made contact with an invisible force. Her mother, turning visible instantly, was thrown forcefully into a nearby tree. Which she promptly smashed through and landed out the other side. The hole is over a meter thick.
I stared in shock at the sudden attack and glanced between the two women. “What..”
Before I could finish, Kita spoke, her voice deathly quiet. “No one hurts the king… Ever.”
Her eyes blazed with anger I had not seen before and I instinctively took a step back. A smile slowly crept up my lips and I said “You remind me so much of your mother.”
Kita’s cheeks reddened and she quickly averted her eyes. Giving her mother, who had already gotten up to use a burst of speed and appear behind me. I managed to turn in time, but my barrier was toast as the dagger was switched for a hammer and it shattered causing a blow back.
I stumbled back only a single step, but that was all it took and she was on me. She tackled me to the ground and leaned in before speaking loudly “Kita sweetie, give daddy and mommy some time alone.”
Kita’s cheeks went even redder and she said “I’m gonna go check on the others.”
I snapped “I knew we had an entourage!” As Mixie pushed her lips against mine, shutting me up. Turns out, Kita might get a sister!
“Darling, I’m a little worried about Kita. I think she might be getting the wrong idea about me.” I said as Mixie, having had her fun, finally pushed herself off of me and clothed herself in the shadows.
Mixie simply stared at me for a moment before asking “What kind of idea? That you don’t like paperwork? That isn’t wrong.” She walked over and picked up the hammer she had dropped and it vanished into the ring on her finger.
“No, like I think she is looking at me in a way a daughter ain’t supposed to be.” I said as I sat up and grabbed a fresh shirt from my ring. I let the remaining tatters of the one Mixie had torn, fall off.
Mixie seemed to consider for a moment before looking at me puzzled. “As.. her king?”
I frowned at her and after a moment raised an eyebrow. “Ye be teasing me?”
She stood there for a long moment and realization dawned on her face. “Oh, you mean sexual advances?” She commented as though talking about the weather.
I sighed. “Ya Mixie, I am talking about our daughter’s sexual advances towards me.”
Mixie nodded. “Understandable, she is nowhere near strong enough to force herself on you yet. She shouldn’t get any ideas too early.”
“I’d rather not fuck me own daughter!” I snapped at her.
She seemed taken aback by this before asking. “Is.. is she too shy? Not your type?”
“Mix! We talked about this, where I am from, that is wrong and I don’t see me own daughter that way!” I started as my eye began to twitch.
“Me thinks you protest too much! She is just like me and there is nothing wrong with a bit of fun between lovers! Besides, she is almost S rank, Don’t go breaking her heart before she has had a chance!” Mixie said in a defensive tone.
I sighed and realized there was no way I was going to win this fight. I needed backup and I knew the perfect person to help me. “Ay, we will continue this talk later. We best get going, the coronation is in three days and we don’t wanna miss it.”
Mixie simply nodded and called out for Kita. She appeared a moment later and took the lead. In the background I heard sobbing. She had not been kind. She truly reminded me of her mother.. far too much.
Tama
Anna snugly wrapped around my body and I happily removed the stupid other robe thingy I had on. She formed into the only true piece of clothing I needed. My dark purple gi formed seamlessly around me, Anna giggling as she made sure each part was perfect from my memories.
Turning, I looked at Saki and Lyran. They were holding hands, It was weird. I wondered if we were in danger when they first showed up. But Saki had just said something about ships and made it clear there was no danger.
It has taken me forever to heal! Saki said it had taken a couple of days. But I knew she was making it sound better than it was. I was there so long I think I got gray hairs! “Nya, Tama is positive she has gray hairs now!” I said defiantly.
Saki facepalmed as Lyran, with a small item in his hand shook his head. “I am positive Tama that your hair is one hundred percent still purple. My new device is able to scan every single follicle. Actually…”
“What exactly do you mean by every follicle…” Saki said suddenly, her eyes shifting and narrowing at Lyran.
