Chapter 136: Cleaning Up After My Owner

  Anna

Tama threw me off of her again. I swear that girl was denser than a deep sea rock. I obviously didn’t actually want to watch them.. You know. But I couldn’t help myself. Those two airheads were made for each other and I loved it. Landing in the stands, I watched as Tama tore the coliseum apart like the insane chaos gremlin she was. The two of them were clearly more into fighting than breathing.

“Just kiss already!” I yelled out. Some nearby fans looked at me in confusion, after all I was suddenly a little girl instead of a piece of clothing.

After a long moment of stares I became annoyed and shifted again. I grew a few feet and let a revealing red dress flow down my sides. I grinned through emerald green eyes. Then I remembered Saki didn’t smile often. So I made a scowly face and crossed my arms. That made people look away and I could watch in peace.

I had tried to trick Tama once by pretending to be Saki. She had locked me in a rune covered box for like three days. Never tried that again. I learned the hard way that Tama could be poked, but never stabbed.

I stepped down and leaned over. Tama looked over at me and for a moment I thought she saw me, then Drake appeared in front of me and swung towards Tama. I realised she was watching drake, not me. Tama was extremely perceptive. But she paid little attention to her surroundings.

“What.. What are you?!” A nearby man cried out as he looked at me. I turned to him and smiled sweetly.

“I am just here to watch my owner fight.” I pointed at Tama. The man looked at Tama, then me.

“You.. are her slave?” he asked worriedly.

I snorted and shook my head. “No, I am her pet, Tama doesn’t enslave anything or anyone willingly. She would sooner kill them.

The man looked aghast at that and I rolled my emerald green eyes before an idea hit me. “But oh yes!” I really leaned into it, I am definitely her pet. Especially when you see me walking with her!”

I giggled as I imagined Saki’s confusion when people called her Tama’s pet. I specifically made the ears a little longer and put on an annoyed face. “She forgets to feed me sometimes.” I whined weakly.

I heard Drake call out “You.. wont” Then the sound of a body collapsing. Followed by Tama saying “Nya! Tama..” and then another body collapsing. Well, the fight was over and this had been fun.

I stepped toward the man and pushed my lips against his. He seemed shocked and tried to pull away but I pushed my water inside of him and into his brain. I wiped his memories and let go, causing him to go glassy eyes and fall over.

I giggled and turned back into my little girl form before running and jumping off the stands and landing in the arena. That was fun. Tama of course, would lock me in a box again if she saw me do that. But Tama was currently unconscious against the wall over there.

I casually walked over and grabbed Serenity. As I was her pet, I was a part of her and thus her blade was also mine. I lifted it with ease and carried it over to her. “You know Tama, You really owe me. Do you have any idea how often I pick up after you!” I snapped at her playfully.

Tama, still unconscious, just moaned and curled into a ball muttering “Tama is sorry Sensei.”

I rolled my eyes and put Serenity on her sheath and back on Tama’s back. I turned as the healers rushed in to grab Drake and Tama. I held my hand up. “Don’t worry, I have her.” I said.

The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.

The healers ignored me and I smiled. The first healer to touch her just.. Collapsed. The other two stepped back. “I said I have her. She doesn’t need you.” I repeated. This time, the healers looked at me more carefully. They grabbed the healer that had collapsed and left Tama in the sand. I walked over and started to heal Tama myself. My healing was better than anything they could do.

My water pulsed through her.The divinity in it healing her much faster due to she herself being Divine. “The Goddess of Creation destroys everything she touches.” I snickered. As a young Nekojin woman came up to us. I turned to her and raised an eyebrow. It was the same one from earlier. The one who had signed Tama up for the arena.

I smiled at her. “Is.. is she going to be okay?” She asked nervously. Her tail was tucked between her legs and her eyes were filled with fear. I felt the urge to possess her and make her feel good. Make her have some ice cream. I resisted that urge. I had to protect my owner.

Despite what Tama thought, we were not friends or allies or even buddies. She was my owner. I was just as much her pet as that boar of hers. I let her believe we were friends because it was all Tama understood.

Instead I stood and walked over to the girl, I grew slightly in size to match her height. My normal form was around eight. This girl was around twelve or thirteen. She looked nervous but stood her ground. I almost felt bad for her. “She will be fine, She just needs rest. Would you do me a small favor and go get her badge from the announcer? He took it when he left.”

She looked at me and said “But.. I don’t..” Before she could finish I pushed my lips against hers and her eyes went blank. She turned and walked towards the announcer. I hated kids.. I hated people. So annoying with their silly rules.

The crowd had mostly left the stands already and I looked around to make sure no one else was watching. There were glances, but no one made eye contact. The little girl came back a few moments later and I grabbed the badge from her hand and put it inside me.

It would appear in Tama’s satchel pocket of her gi when I took that form. But right now.. We needed to go.

I looked around once more to make sure and then entered Tama’s body. I opened her eyes. She was still in pain, but she was mostly healed. I would need to be careful and get her to a bed. I stood up and we walked over to Drake’s shirt. I wanted to grab it, but Tama would know it was me. I turned and using her body, I left the arena and made my way towards the castle. I wonder if Tama had seen her bedroom yet?

  Saki

I made my way down the stairs and to the front desk. The lady there was looking at a small tablet and smiling. I coughed and she looked up. “Oh! Hello, did you need something?” She looked worried like she had just been caught not doing her job.. Which she had. But I understood.

Lyran had given her that to watch the Coliseum earlier as a bribe so she wouldn’t report them after he had.. Saki blushed and coughed into her hand again before asking “Do you happen to have healers on standby? There was an incident..”

“Sadly no, most of the healers in town that aren't connected to the guards had to rush to the coliseum after this Nekojin girl and Drake the Wind Mage started a fight in the arena. Apparently they tore the building apart and they are still attempting to rebuild it.

I froze at that and after a moment of fear asked. “That .. that Nekojin girl.. She didn’t have purple hair did she?”

The woman looked at me in shock. “Yea actually, you know her? Then again you seem to have some strange tastes..” She trailed off before paling and covering her mouth. I ignored her as my own face paled and I felt dizzy. I turned and rushed back up the stairs.

“Lyran, we have to go to the coliseum right now!” I cried out as I reached the top step. I reached the room and he was still on the bed with his arm laying on the ground next to him. He sighed and asked “Tama?”

I smiled sheepishly and didn’t look at the arm, it had been an accident and I was excited. “I.. I am sorry about..” I started, but he cut me off.

“It’s fine, that was.. Something. Let’s go find Tama, wherever she is, there are bound to be healers too.” He stood and grabbed his right arm before pausing and looking around. I pursed my lips and he looked uncertain.

I decided we would deal with this in a minute. I grabbed a potion out of the bottomless bag I had taken from Tama and handed him it. I doubt she would mind, she never used them. A healer would be better, but due to everything happening I doubted we would get one.

Rushing back down the stairs while Lyran attempted to attach his arm again. I walked up to the front desk lady who was still engrossed in the tablet. It really was a fascinating device. That was definitely going to be my wedding day present. I hope he knew that.
