Winter left after it had done its job to the utmost. It had ran through the hordes of wolves despite its fear and jumped and kicked at them to keep moving forward so Joshua could get close to his target. And only after Joshua got down from it by himself did Winter show hesitation and moved back to safety and ran away.
?Right after landing from his horse, Joshua's sword kept on swinging back and forth, slicing wolves that kept coming at him.
?From afar, Melavan stood frozen on the ground, the fear and fright overtook him by seeing the three headed wolf. And just like others, he also started to feel the foreboding feeling of death in his heart. But when he saw a kid running at a horde of fearsome wolves, and how his horse heroically rushed past a number of them, and how the kid jumped down and swung his blade, taking out life after life from the beasts, something changed within Melavan.
?He had a moment of realization, and his living and beating heart refused to let go of this realization and the feeling.
?"What is this? What the fuck are we doing? We are in a deadly battle against enemies and our captain is fighting against the most fearsome enemy we have encountered. And even the kid we took as hostage is fighting against a horde of enemies, and yet we, the true soldiers of our leader's platoon, the true soldiers of the unshakable Ottoman Empire, stand in cowardice? At this point, can we even call ourselves men?"
"That's it! Even if what I'm seeing right now is a three headed wolf that is defying the natural laws, I won't back down. I will live up to my honor and live to see tomorrow as a heroic soldier battling against a mythical beast!"
?Melavan exclaimed in rage and fury and swung his sword, slicing apart a wolf that jumped at him. The group of soldiers nearby were shaken by him. After seeing his actions and hearing Melavan's words, they too fell into the same thinking.
?Their hands shook and moved once again, slashing at the wolves.
?"We are the sword of the empire!"
?"We will cut down anything, whether it's a armor hard as steel, or whether it's a mythical beast from tales!"
?"I will not die here today!"
?One by one, the soldiers were relieved from their frightened hearts, and they soon followed their leader into the battle.
?"Part of you follow our leader, and part of you, follow me!"
Melavan said, as the side divided. While one part ran to assist their leader, Melavan, followed by the other group, rushed toward Joshua and joined him in his fight against the wolves.
?The swords and the ground were stained by the wolves' blood, and the battle continued against the wolves with both sides fighting for their lives on the line.
?On the Death Galloper's battle, his sword swung once again, looking to strike at the head of the wolf that spits out fire. He moved, redirecting the fire that was spat out by the mouth. Now instead of him and his own men, the ball of fire landed on the ground, burning there for a last few seconds.
?Death Galloper and his soldiers rushed at the beast after its missed attack, its other two heads bit at the attacking group of soldiers, and Death Galloper himself swung his blade, slicing apart the skin of the fire spitting head of the wolf.
?The beast howled, and swung its clawed paws at the soldiers. Like toys being thrown away, those that were struck by its claws were sent through the air, falling down to the ground like fruit falling from trees.
Death Galloper jumped away, avoiding its claw strike, but the beast showed special hatred for him and it rushed at him, biting with all three heads at once at him.
?Death Galloper swung his large double handed sword, striking once again at the usual middle head of the beast, knowing well that it was the most threatening out of all three heads. The deflected middle head was forced away by him with the right side head nearby to it.
?But it left a vulnerable spot on Death Galloper, and taking that chance, the left head of the beast struck at him, bearing down on him and digging its sharp teeth—the size of a fist—into his shoulder plate and then into the skin.

?Death Galloper's left shoulder turn to a mess, right after the wolf had bitten him, it pulled Death Galloper toward itself, ripping his flesh and skin as a result.
?Everything turned to shreds, and Death Galloper stayed there motionlessly, gazing at the wound oozing out blood. He could see his inner flesh and bones, and Death Galloper felt pain—an amount of pain he had never felt in his life—and he felt just as if he were about to be fainted.
?"Sir Sedric!"
?Loyal soldiers exclaimed, rushing to Death Galloper's rescue, and they called him by his name, making Death Galloper remember and recall himself, his life, and who he is, at the moment before he fell into a faint.
The three-headed wolf saw Death Galloper's last moments of his life were about to be taken, and it wanted to take that life by itself. So just after the fatal attack at Sedric, the three-headed wolf once again moved. Despite the number of soldiers standing in its way, blocking its way while standing to protect their leader, the wolf's approach toward the Death Galloper was unstoppable.
?The soldiers saw their failure and they called to their captain for him to move away.
?"Sir, move!"
?"Sir Death Galloper!"
?Upon hearing his nickname—the name he redeemed from his heroic deeds on the battlefield—Sedric jolted awake. He had nothing to recalled of his life because it was not memorable. But the only thing he recalled as memorable was his nickname and the moment he was awarded that name on the battlefield. Despite receiving it for a thing he did out of a whim and luck, it was the thing he was known for, and it's the thing he will be remembered for.
?And Sedric wanted nothing more than to make that name truly a name worthy for him to be remembered for, and not just an act he had done by a whim.
The three-headed wolf rushed in and Sedric grabbed his blade. The moment it got close, all three heads once again bit at him. And Sedric moved at once. He ducked the first head's bite at him and grabbed onto the second, middle head of the beast. Taking a jump, he leapt onto the heads of the beast, crawling his way onto the upper back of the beast. The wolf was stunned, the man that was about to go to his death is moving like he has regained a whole new life. It jumped around and shook its body trying to get Sedric away from its back.
?Once Sedric made his way to the back of the beast, he locked his leg onto the back of the head of the beast and lifted his sword and thrust it right into the middle of the head.
?The wolf howled, and the middle head among the three spat out blood as it was the head where Sedric thrust his sword.
?It shook its head violently in rage and fury, and Sedric felt his limbs going numb by the force. But Sedric did not let go of the sword. Instead, he moved again, pulling out the sword and striking it at the head once again.
?And then again.
The wolf howled in agony. And the middle head among the three heads slowly lowered like the head of a dead beast. But yet the other two heads are still alive and active, and they try to bite at Sedric standing on the back of the middle head.
?Sedric raised his sword after taking down one of the heads, and he rose from where he was and stood with the sword still dripping the blood of the beast.
?The wolf shook its body, causing Sedric to move along, so Sedric did not stay in the spot for longer, and his voice rang in the ears of his soldiers on the ground.
?"Men, take care of the third head!"
?Right after his words, Sedric jumped, and his sword was lifted by him. The direction in which he jumped is at one of the heads of the beast, and Sedric thrust his sword right into the forehead of the head that tried to bite at him. The wolf howled again, this time being pierced by the sword right into its forehead. And Sedric stayed hanging there by the sword, causing the sword's sharpness to go down through the head from the weight of Sedric.
?The wolf shook its head to throw away Sedric, but his arms hung onto the sword like they were glued to it. Yet his whole body moved like a dry leaf in a violent storm.
"Ragh!"
?"For our empire!"
?"For Sir Death Galloper!"
?At long last, his soldiers acted, taking heed of Sedric's words, they attacked the last head of the beast, and with their numbers, the lone head of the wolf struggled to defend, and the soldiers soon surrounded the beast and struck together, taking down the head they were in charge of.
?The wolf's movement came to a halt, and as Sedric's own sword sliced down through the head, with a last pitiful attempt at a howl, the three-headed wolf fell to the ground. And Sedric finally let go of the sword from his hand.

?The light panel once again appeared and shone in Sedric's vision. He gazed at it with eyes slowly closing themselves. At the last moment, his eyes twitched as they widened, starting to hear something.
?[Blood Berserker class source is being granted to the individual; adjusting physical traits fitting to the class]
?Sedric heard the voice of a woman, but he had had enough for that day, and his eyes closed after witnessing all the miracles he could for a whole life. His soldiers came to his aid after the beast's death, and they rapidly started to wrap his wounds and treat his injuries with all of what they got as medicine.
"Captain, you did it! You killed the beast!"
?"It was incredible, Captain—the way you landed that final strike!"
?"Sir, I never doubted your nickname in the battle, but I believe you proved yourself again. You galloped the beast to its death, sir; you proved your name once again, sir!"
?Soldiers' voices echoed in his head, and Sedric knew he had proven himself, this time for real.
