Humanity is hit by a virus like never before, monsters only imaginable in science fiction walk the earth and the government, having tried it''''s hardest at purging this unforgiving disease found themselves unable to do so, the army took over, forcefully, but also found themselves unable to purge it. After two years they finally decide to abandon the surface, safe for critical infrastructure and locations of strategic importance. They withdrew underground, into vaults established for project FALLOUT, a project that was meant to protect humanity against total annihilation in the scenario of a world wide nuclear fallout but was now used to run. Saying there wasn''''t enough room for everyone was a stretch, only a small portion of the population made it''''s way into the vaults while the rest was left to fend for themselves, with minimal assistance from the military. Can a human hold true to his values and morals in a world without law & order, in the face of starvation? Rick would say no. He has seen a lot, Fathers forcing their wifes or daughters into prostitution because they''''re to afraid to face the monsters outside. Mothers abandoning their maimed husbands in favour of a man that can provide for their daughter, family and friends betraying their loved ones out of sheer desperation and hunger. Even Rick lost his girlfriend, a woman that genuinely loved him. Love is a strong emotion, but so is fear..... Fear won, and Alice abandoned him to become the sex pet of a officer within the army, securing herself access to a vault. Rick used to think of her as a whore, but as time went on and he saw the world twist around him, learned how it truly worked, he stopped thinking as such. Alice wasn''''t at fault, humans were just weak and twisted creatures. The only one at fault was Rick himself for not having enough influence, strength and power to prevent it. What will Rick do when he''''s suddenly given power, as perverted as said power may be? ========================================================================================================================= Okay, so this idea started out as a " Brothel in a zombie apocalypse " type thing but then I suddenly realized that a zombie apocalypse wouldn''''t be so nice, so a cliche happy story would make no sense. So my autistic mind went for a spin and I ended up in some type of messed up grimdark type setting. Honestly, combining grimdark plot with a cliche lust system? Not the best idea I ever came up with but I decided to take it for a spin nonetheless. Please note: This story is purely written as a inspirational outlet and won''''t have a release schedule. Reading it, sharing ideas or some love would go a far way to provide me with the inspiration to continue this story, although, to be fair, I write when I have my writing moods and really don''''t want to write when I don''''t, so there''''s that. Anyway, rambling over, on to the warnings: Rick belongs heavily into the Anti-Hero category, I don''''t want to call him evil because that''''s going to attract a audience that''''s truly looking for a evil MC and that ain''''t Rick. Rick however spent a lot of time in a really fucked up world that really messed with his moral compass so he''''s further into the Anti Hero category then most. I suggest reading the first chapter and second chapter and then deciding on your opinion of the MC. Yes he''''s the type that helps people if it''''s no effort, but if it takes more effort then (he thinks) it''''s worth then he doesn''''t.
