During a hunt Lord Armatus Otacher finds himself subjected to strange magical powers, which seem to have saved his life from certain death. While an old rumor about some fairies stirs once more, his childhood friend and most trusted companion, Sir Theóderich, seems to have change drastically from his old self since his time away to become a formidable swordsman. Thrown between powers much older than humanity, Armatus and Theóderich must find a way to save each other with or without the help of the Order of the Crimson Hand.
