Kang Min-joon, an ordinary (or perhaps slightly otaku/gamer) young Korean, meets a tragic end and is reincarnated into a version of South Korea transformed by a divine or cosmic "System." Armed with a mysterious dagger, the "Umbra Shard," he initially believes he is the sole "Player" destined to grow in power. But he soon discovers he is not alone: other **Awakened Ones** exist, dungeon portals are opening, and celestial and infernal factions pull the strings in a far grander game, where Earth has become a new battlefield... and playground. Min-joon must master his dagger, unlock its secrets, forge alliances, and learn that in this "game," cooperation and bonds are just as crucial as personal power.
