"Alright, now it's time to get to the point." Rulu put down the hair dryer, grabbed C.C.'s shoulders, and turned her body to face him directly. He stared at C.C.'s face with a piercing gaze, his mind constantly contemplating something.
"Hmm? What are you trying to do?" Although Rulu was staring at her intensely from a close distance, C.C. showed no sign of panic. She returned his gaze with calm, unwavering eyes.
"I want to know about you, C.C. Everything about you!" Rulu said firmly.
"How troublesome." C.C. turned her face away, showing an unwilling expression. "I don't like talking about myself—I actually hate it. I hope you won't ask me anything related to me."
"No, I must ask." Rulu turned C.C.'s face back toward him and said very seriously, "I just want to know about your relationship with the Sanctuary, why you left the Sanctuary, and why the Emperor of the Sanctuary is hunting you down."
"You're so stubborn." C.C. sighed lightly and asked in return, "What about you, Rulu? Why did you leave the Sanctuary and come here?"
"I'm the one asking questions here. Don't answer my question with another question!" Rulu emphasized.
C.C. snorted coldly and said: "How cunning. You're unwilling to reveal your own matters, yet you want others to disclose theirs."
Rulu defended himself: "I have my reasons. If I don't understand your situation, it might bring danger to me and those around me."
C.C. said: "So what? Don't forget, without the power I gave you, you would have been dead days ago."
"Will you tell me or not? I kill without blinking an eye, don't force me to—" Rulu stretched out his hands and gripped C.C.'s neck, putting on an extremely fierce appearance.
"I've already died once in front of you. Do you think this tactic works on me?" C.C. remained cold and completely unmoved.
"Well, how about this—if you tell me these things, I'll let you stay here, and I'll get you lots of good food every day, enough snacks to satisfy you. How does that sound?" Rulu released his hands from C.C.'s neck and spoke softly. Having failed with threats, he now tried to entice her.
"Sounds not bad, but I'm feeling a bit sleepy now. Let's talk about this later. Good night... Rulu." C.C. ignored Rulu, yawned, stood up, and fell onto the bed in the bedroom, lying down.

"You annoying woman, you think I have no way to deal with you?" Rulu got a bit angry. He also climbed onto the bed, fell on top of C.C., used his palms to press down on her body, and looked at her with a gloomy gaze from close proximity.
"Answer my question, C.C. What exactly is your relationship with the Sanctuary? Why are you so important that the Emperor must find you?" Rulu's eyes flashed strangely as he spoke in an unusual tone.
C.C. widened her eyes to look at Rulu's face. After a moment of surprise, she couldn't help but laugh: "You think that making that strange expression will make me listen to you?"
"What's going on? Why isn't the Spiritual-power working?" Rulu pondered secretly. He concentrated his mind again, staring into C.C.'s eyes, and said: "C.C., I want you to tell me about the Sanctuary. Tell me everything you know!"
C.C. put away her smile and stared at Rulu's eyes with a sharp gaze, saying coldly: "Don't waste your energy. Spiritual-power is ineffective on me. You can't control me."
"How can this be..." Rulu's face froze, feeling he had no options left.
"Now you understand, so I suggest you give up." C.C. said very coldly.
Rulu gritted his teeth and said: "No, I'll ask you one more question, and you must answer this one. Why did you seek me out? Why did you give me this strange Spiritual-power? Don't tell me you gave me this power without any purpose."
"Because you have the aptitude to use this Spiritual-power." This time, C.C. finally answered Rulu's question. With a solemn expression, she slowly said:
"Not everyone can use this power. You were born with the potential to use Spiritual-power. Even if you hadn't met me, as long as you persisted in training later on, you could have mastered this power. I just forcibly activated and guided this power in you, and greatly enhanced it."
"Then what was your purpose in giving me this power? You must have had a reason for doing this."
"You're right. I bestowed upon you this Spiritual-power that ordinary people don't have. In return, you must do one thing for me—something that can only be accomplished using that Spiritual-power."
"One thing? What thing?"
"I can't tell you yet. With your current abilities, you can't accomplish it. When the time is right, I will naturally tell you."
Rulu thought carefully. He pondered and said: "So this is a deal. You give me this powerful Spiritual-power, and in return, I help you do something—something only I can do. As long as this thing isn't completed, you'll need me and won't betray me. Is that right?"
C.C. said: "Although you're thinking of me in a somewhat negative light, what you said is correct. And if you want to continue using that Spiritual-power, you'll definitely need me, because only I can help you repair the mental damage."
"Hmm, this deal is reasonable. I do need this power, and I need you, C.C., to stay by my side." Rulu nodded, a smile appearing on his face as things became clearer.
"So we have an agreement? If there's nothing else, can I sleep now? And Rulu, can you get off me? Your face is almost touching mine. You're not trying to take the opportunity to kiss me, are you?"
"Hmph, who wants to kiss you? Don't flatter yourself..." Rulu's face turned slightly red. He nervously raised himself, got off C.C., left the bed, and walked toward the door.
