63: Bloodlight Pursuit, Kári’s Ruin

After dealing with the lightning giant, Oliver turns to see storm giant Kári’s bolted! This 9-million-kilometer giant, riding raging winds, moves so fast he’s a blur, hightailing it into the distance.

Or maybe you could say he’s not fleeing—just trying to get out of Oliver’s created domain! This guy’s senses are sharp as hell.

He’s figured out why they got crushed! This snake created a unique domain, a full 500 million kilometers wide, where all their moves are heavily nerfed.

And in this domain, the snake’s stupidly strong—like he’s the god of this zone! Truth is, his gut’s spot-on.

In his Creation Domain, Oliver is a god-like existence. This 500-million-kilometer range is like a new world he made. The giants’ primal runes? They’re old-world relics, old-world rules.

Using old-world rules in a new world? It’s like a dynasty’s long gone, and in a new dynasty built on different blood, you’re waving around the dead kingdom’s laws to judge someone!

Course, Oliver’s skill is still fresh, not fully powered up, so it’s not quite at the level of a true creator god in this range. If it was, he’d just speak, and it’d happen—say there’s light, and there’s light. Say these giants die, and they’d drop dead.

One word could kill. That’s the Authority of Creation!

  “Wanna run? Not that easy!”

Right now, seeing storm giant Kári sprinting like mad toward the edge of the domain, Oliver bolts after him, swinging bloodlight sword at his back!

  Boom!

“Get out of here, and you’re the one who’s dead! Run, run…”

Storm giant Kári’s a mess, barely fending off Oliver’s attacks while still booking it. Oliver’s first sword smashes through the defensive storm Kári throws up, carving a massive gash down his back, nearly splitting his spine.

Divine power leaks from the wound. From a distance, his back looks like a giant ravine or valley, like it’s about to be sliced in half. The injury’s brutal!

But he grits through the pain, ignoring it, and somehow speeds up his dash. Then Oliver’s second sword comes!

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

  Crack!

This time, one of Kári’s arms gets lopped off.

Storm-formed blood sprays everywhere. Even a single drop, hitting unlucky deities, burns like hell, piercing right through weaker deities’ flesh.

The third sword lands, chopping off one of Kári’s feet. The fourth slices through the base of his thigh! The fifth…

In no time, storm giant Kári’s hacked to pieces by Oliver, his body like a tattered ragdoll, covered in wounds. This scene leaves every spectating deity jaw-dropped, completely floored.

This snake’s only level 16, and this storm giant’s a level 18 deity—one of the strongest at that level. But now? Oliver’s chasing him down, hacking away till he can’t fight back, just running for his life.

  What a wild turn!

“No wonder this snake wants to start his own faction—this guy’s strong as hell!”

  “I’m sold. Totally sold!”

“I’m joining his Ouroboros Abyss. I’ve got a feeling this snake’s future’s gonna be unreal—he’s one of the chaos’s brightest rising stars!”

“Don’t get too hyped. Sure, he’s strong, and today he’ll make waves across the chaos, becoming a big name in tons of Basins. But at what cost?”

“He killed three giants. The giant clan won’t let that slide!”

“The giant clan’s power—don’t you know? Forget level 20, they’ve got plenty of level 30 giants!”

“This guy’s probably on the giant clan’s hit list now. Start a faction? He’s gotta survive first!”

Tons of deities are in awe of Oliver, but plenty others aren’t betting on him, thinking he’s about to face a relentless giant clan manhunt. While the crowd’s buzzing, the fight’s still on.

Gotta hand it to this storm giant for grit. Even with Oliver beating him down to just 30% of his original body, he actually makes it out of Oliver’s Creation Domain. But right then, storm giant Kári doesn’t dare stop—he keeps sprinting!

‘Cause he knows, with his strength down to a third, fighting this snake outside the domain’s still a bad call.

“Come on, leave your domain and try to kill me! Even if I self-destruct, I’ll make sure you pay!”

He yells like a maniac, but his voice shakes, dripping with fear. This whole escape, Kári keeps telling himself he’s not running—just making a tactical retreat to get out of the snake’s domain for a fair fight.

But the truth? Getting hacked by Oliver’s swords over and over, he’s breaking down—body and mind. Simply put, he’s scared witless. Kári’s got no guts left to face Oliver!

“Not bad for a giant who’s mastered the Wind primal rune to +3, maybe +4…”

Oliver eyes his fleeing figure, a bit regretful. Once Kári’s out of his Creation Domain, with that storm giant’s speed, catching him’s gonna be tough.

This time, he’ll have to let him go. But no big deal. In this chaos, is there anyone growing faster than Oliver? Next time they meet, Oliver’s sure killing him will be a breeze!

“This time, I took down two giants, got their bloodlines and essence energy. I’m definitely leveling up and getting stronger!”

Oliver’s hyped. Especially since these two energy clumps have giant bloodlines—they’ll boost his gem space big-time.

Sure, these giants’ bloodlines aren’t on Ymir’s level, but Oliver only got a tiny scrap of Ymir’s flesh back then. Now he’s got the full bloodline energy of two whole giants!
