In the early 20th Century, magazine editor Charles Kasper thinks he is in luck when one day he discovers a set of documents in his mailbox. Said documents detail the strange exploits of one Ziel Adara, a man who, according to these writings, has called upon the powers of the supernatural to fight evil across the globe. He even has his own impish familiar, Hyk.
