"What the hell are you going on young lady there's no way you could forget your parents!" The man yelled back at her.
Karliah started to look around while touching her face. She thought hard about anything she could of her past, but nothing was coming to mind. a single tear had shed when she looked up and noticed that they were at a house. The house was quite larger than the others. The man got off of the horse and again picked Karliah up. She screamed that she could walk but the man didn't care and opened the front door with her across his shoulder. "ANNABELLE, CAN YOU COME IN HERE FOR A SEC!?" He yelled upstairs. Not long after a beautiful woman with long flowing platinum hair with a white dress with gold trim started to walk down the stairs. She had on a bunch of gold jewelry and had an hourglass shape that was even curvier than Karliah's figure. She didn't look like she belonged in this village at all, let alone in this mysterious man's house and being his wife.
"Honey, I thought you stopped that a while ago." she said in a very dominating tone, eyes gleaming an unnatural fiery yellow.
"NO, I did! This young lady here was getting attacked by three wolves in the mountain region. I believe she has some sort of amnesia too".
"I'm right here you know and what did you do in your past exactly?" Karliah raised an eyebrow. The man laughed it off and said that it was nothing.
"Mind my husband it is truly nothing dear." Annabelle replied with a more warming tone completely opposite of what she just displayed. "Can you remember your name young lady, are you having a hard time remembering certain areas"?
"My name is Karliah, but I can't even remember my last name. Nothing at all like my whole memory just got wiped".
"That sounds troublesome. Honey put her on the couch please I will prepare a diagnosis." She raised her hand, and a weird feeling came upon Karliah. It was like a wave was clashing in her head.

Then it just disappeared.
Annabelle suddenly closed her hand and green like goo covered her fist. She looked at Karliah with a dirty look and told the man to let go her and get back. The man dropped her before he put her on the couch and Karliah hit her head on the floor. The woman ran to her quickly and picked her up. Karliah felt her neck heavy making it hard for her to breathe even worse than her already bad state.
"Whoa what's going on Belle?!" The man asked her confused on what snapped in his wife.
"I can't run a diagnosis on this kid meaning she's a high level spy"!
Those words shocked Karliah, but she was unable to speak for her defense. First, she lost her memory and almost died after waking up, her vision is still distorted, and now she's being framed for being some kind of spy. She didn't even know who these people are.
"Or she could be an Starborn! I don't think Karliah is a bad person she genuinely needed help!" The yelled in her defense.
When Karliah was getting choked by whatever it was something appeared in her vision again. It was a large skill tree like in a video game but most of it was blacked out.
Except for one.
Karliah instinctively "clicked" with the box that she seen and felt a cool feeling in her hands. With wanting to get distance from Annabelle, she pushed with her hands. A small wave of water drizzled onto Annabelle that made her laugh. She was about to raise to fists to punch Karliah in the head, but she stopped mid action.
"I-I can't move!" She said in surprise. She looked straight in Karliah's eyes with even more malice than before. "So, it is true...you were sent here to kill me for my information on the Counts".
Karliah felt pressure in the room. Annabelle's hair started to stand straight up and large gusts of wind filled the air. In a split second she dispelled the water on her and shot straight at Karliah. She put her hands up to try to guard the attack when she heard something pierce flesh. She was blown back to the floor with her dress covering her head.
The man had taken his wife's attack, to protect Karliah.
"Herald...you fucking fool!" She said to her husband.
He smiled at her. "Not the worst hit I took from you. Calm your head and let's all have a sit down".
