As he returned to his base and continued to train and work on his Psionic Energy Emission, he finally pushed it up to 7%. He was able to control the energy around his hand long enough to throw it like a baseball and explode upon impact. His Body Kinesis was around 48 percent as he worked on a Boxing ball that was tied to his head and worked on using his Kinesis to quickly repel the ball so it hit it again and alternate between punches and using his Kinesis. His Peak Superhuman Body was still around 82 percent.

  It seems like the 80s were for the truly talented or workhorses. He could not imagine what 90 percent proficiency with his psionic powers would be like. He was barely scratching the surface of its potential. He still held off on his telekinetic vision. He felt like he needed to get a much firmer mastery on his psionic powers to at least 25 percent. He did not need to be perfect but trying to mastery 7 different powers at once seemed like a nightmare.

  As the week continued on several people showed up from retired cops to high school kids that were tired of the crime in the city. Most of them were base humans or really weak supers that were good for cops but a simple Peak Human Body was not gonna do much against someone that could shoot energy beams at them. That being said there was a single person out of hundreds that seemed useful.

  She was tall around 5’10 and wore silver rimmed gsses along with a camo jacket over a band shirt with paint stained jeans and thick leather boots. She had a lean build that told Mark that she worked out. Along with her lean build she had multi-colored hair with streaks of red and blue flowing through it. But what stuck out to him the most was was the subtle way that her body had what looked like shifting streaks of colored energy flowing through her body.

  She smiled at him as he opened the door and let her in as offered her a seat in his office. He got down to it.

  “I am Seven. I am recruiting for my team The Renegades. Our mission statement is for the people in Lowbridge eventually be able to walk the streets safely at night. There probably is not a lot of money in this team but I feel like with my gifts that I need to do more. The only people we would answer to is each other. We don’t take bribes but we can rob people when you beat them up or at least I do. We also should restrain from killing. Killing is a st option. Even if we are facing killers, often times that can lead to even bigger fish.” The woman smiled at him before she extended her hand to him.

  “I am Seraphina. I am college student at SCU. I also lived in Lowbridge almost all of my life. My father wasn’t around, and my mother always worked to raise me, so I pyed outside. I almost joined a gang before I met one of my teachers that was a viginte. She beat me up and told me to stay in school. The next day she went up to me and took me under her wing. Ever since then I wanted to do the right thing. I wanted to be a City Super, but the corruption is so rampant that most of the really good supers are ‘independent’ like yourself. It seems like you are the only one hiring so I wanted to throw my hat in.”
