James, a man with no memories of his past, awakens from cryogenic sleep in a rundown laboratory, where he''''s been in stasis for over 80 years. P.R.O.T.E.C.T., an artificial intelligence designed to assist him, greets him, explaining that the world he once knew is long gone, replaced by one overrun by zombies. The two begin to make their way through the lab, James taking in the new reality around him. Dust and cobwebs cover every surface, and the halls echo with the sound of their footsteps.
