  Cheers echo throughout the arena as Byzan looks to his opponent across from him.

  Rua Degram stands at 5'9'' (175 cm). She has long sky blue hair that's put into a Dutch Braid low ponytail, a few bangs over her right eye. Her golden eyes gre at Byzan as he fixes the leather choker around her neck. She wears a loose bck sweatshirt, that hangs from her shoulders. Underneath she wears a light blue tank top. Several gemstone rings shine on her fingers, as she holds a long bow in her hand; also there's a quiver on her back.

  She pulls out a pocket watch from her white skinny jeans and looks at it for a few seconds, before putting it away. She stretches her legs and grabs onto her fancy dress shoes.

  Byzan smirks as she looks Rua up and down.

  "Keep your eyes off me, Nightshade." Rua growls in anger.

  Byzan smirks as he tilts his head slightly, with a Cheshire smile. "What's with the hostility? Have we meet before?"

  Rua takes a step forward in anger. "You killed my father!"

  Byzan raises an eyebrow and shrugs. "Do you have any idea how little that narrows it down?"

  "Talium Degram!"

  Byzan taps his chin in thought for a few seconds, then snaps his fingers. "Oh, him! The man who sold faunus children as sve bor!"

  Rua yells in anger and her gre hardens. "He would never do such a thing!"

  Byzan shakes his head. "Girl, you must've been blind not to see it. Well, if you want to know the truth, when you get back to Ats, seek out someone named Candidus Fúlm."

  Rua huffs. "I'll prove my father was a good man."

  Rua's golden eyes bare into Byzan's amber eyes. Though a feeling washes through him, this gre. It feels familiar to him, but he knows he's never meet Rua before.

  Byzan just chuckles as Port announces the start of the match. Byzan takes Hellish shroud off his back, leaving the sheath on his small magnetic backpack. He then lowers himself to the ground.

  Rua brings up her long bow and looks up to the night sky. Byzan charges towards her.

  "It may not be the thirteenth hour, but I will take you down."

  Rua aims her bow at Byzan and pulls back the string, a golden arrow of energy forms on the string. She aims her arrow at Byzan, who just smirks at her and releases it.

  As soon as the arrow leaves the string of the bow, a rge amount of air is blow back as it bursts forward with a great amount of speed.

  Byzan's eyes widen as he turns his body just in time for the arrow to fly past him, cutting a little bit of his hair. He spins around and avoids another arrow.

  He ducks under a third arrow and summons his clone behind him, which throws him up into the air. Byzan flips his sword around and changes it into his flintlock and fires at Rua.

  Rua turns to the side as the bullet flies past her and she slides back as Byzan's sword sms into the ground in front of her. She twirls her bow around and it changes into a long sword.

  Rua then sshes at Byzan and he parries the attack, staggering Rua. He goes for a stab, but she quickly recovers and pushes the bde to the side with her aura covered hand uses the pommel of her sword to bash Byzan on the head.

  Byzan stumbles back as his purple aura covers him, he quickly gets his bearings as his ears swivel, hearing the tension of a bow string. He jumps back as several arrows hit the ground and fly past him.

  Rua grumbles in anger as she aims her bow up into the air and fires off a golden arrow. Byzan charges towards Rua again as the arrow reaches high into the air, and suddenly splits into a dozen smaller arrows and fly back down towards the ground at Byzan.

  Byzan side steps and avoids each of the attacks and swings his katana at Rua, who barely has time to bring up her sword to block. Byzan keeps his momentum as his sword slides up her bde, and he pulls back his fist and punches Rua in the stomach, causing her to spit up saliva.

  Byzan swiftly follows it up with a kick to the side of her knee, causing her to buckle. Byzan brings up his knee and hits her in the face, sending Rua flying back a bit.

  She flips in the air and nds on her feet, and swiftly brings up her bow as another arrow of golden energy appears as Byzan zooms right in front of her.

  She lets go of the arrow, giving Byzan no chance to avoid the attack and it hits him square in the chest, and the arrow glows and explodes. Sending the cat flying back and crashing into the arena ground.

  Byzan coughs a little as he wipes some saliva from the corner of his mouth. He stands up and looks up to the aura board, that one attack did a good fourth of his aura. Rua's already lost a third of her aura.

  Byzan looks over to Rua as he reloads his flint lock, a red tipped round. Rua pulls back her bow string and summons three arrows of energy and fires just as Byzan brings up his gun.

  Byzan fires and the round slips through the air and strikes one of the energy arrows, cussing a massive explosion to ring out and smoke to fill the middle of the arena.

  Byzan jumps into the air and twists his body as other two arrows as the arrows fly past him, nearly hitting him. As he nds on the ground he takes off towards the center of the arena, staying low to the ground.

  As he reaches the cloud of smoke it clears up to show Rua in the air above him, her long sword above her head aiming to bring it down onto him. Byzan smirks as grabs his katana with both hands and swings up.

  Their swords connect, sparks flying and they're both pushed back. Byzan recovers faster than Rua and shoots forward going for a ssh at her center mass.

  Rua grunts as she drops her long sword from one hand and it falls into the other, barely positioning it to block the attack. She grabs an arrow off her back, with yellow fetching. She spins around and throws it at Byzan.

  Byzan swings his sword and hits it up into the air, where his clone appears and kicks it back at Rua. Her eyes widen in shock as the arrow hits her and a wave of lighting washes over her, forcing her to use a lot of her aura to prevent herself from becoming paralyzed.

  The two Byzan's charge towards Rua with a smirk, and she swings her sword in a long arc, destroying the clone and pushing back Byzan as he blocks the attack.

  Rua presses a button on her sword and the bde colpses and turns into a short sword, and short sword of energy appears in her left hand. She brings the two together in an X as Byzan and his clone attack her at the same time.

  "Not very honorable to fight with a clone." Rua compins.

  Byzan scoffs. "There's no honor among humans."

  Then the clone speaks. "So why should we fight with honor." He disappears in a cloud of purple smoke and appears behind Rua. "Besides, I've never had honor to begin with."

  Clone Byzan sshes her in the back and she falls forward, only to get a blunt side of Byzan's katana to the face and she stumbles back. She sloppily parries another attack from Byzan, and leans back as his clone tries to stab her.

  She spins her sword around and stabs the clone behind her, then kicks away another attack from Byzan. She then rushes at him and stabs her sword towards his stomach.

  He blocks the attack and then follows with his own stab, which connects and pushes Rua back. The energy sword in Rua's hand turns into a spear and she throws it at Byzan.

  Byzan jumps back and summons his clone.

  "Awww man."

  The spear his the clone, blowing up. Byzan nds on the ground and charges at Rua, who as her bow aimed at him with several energy arrows on the string.

  She lets lose and the arrows fly, Byzan summons his clone and he takes two of the arrows and the real Byzan flips over the st one and drop kicks Rua to the ground.

  Rua coughs as she groans on the ground. Her aura fshes as she starts to get up, but Byzan kicks her in the gut, sending her sliding on the ground.

  She spits out some saliva as she slowly gets up, clutching her long sword. She watches as Byzan struts towards her.

  "I've won this match, Rua." Byzan states as he realizes his flint lock. "But I do recommend finding my friend, he'll reveal your truth to you."

  Rua lets out a frustrated grunt as Byzan fires at her. She swiftly brings up her sword and cuts the bullet in half, but before she could do anything else; Byzan and his clone attack her from the front and back, shattering her aura.

  Byzan wipes some sweat off his brow as Port announces his win over the speakers.

  In the stands Ruby jumps to her feet and cheers, and Weiss cps and Bke smiles. Rose and Ambré loudly cheer and he gives the two a two fingered salute as he walks off stage.

  He looks up to the aura counter and notices his aura is just above half. He rolls his right shoulder and enters the locker room and sits down, letting out a sigh.

  "Now just to fight you, Spartan." Byzan smirks to himself.

  Byzan sits down beside Rose as she smiles at him.

  "That was a pretty good match, Byzz!" Rose hands him a water, which he swiftly takes and downs it.

  "Thanks Rosie." Byzan bops her on the nose, making her blush.

  "That was a pretty good fight, Byzan." Ambré compliments.

  "Oh, something nice, from Sweat Cheeks?" Byzan fakes being shocked. "Impossible."

  Ambré gres at him. "...I hate you."

  Doctor Oobleck speaks over the PA. "Alright, it's now time to begin the randomization process for our next fight!"

  The roulette wheel spins and nds on Penny.

  "It looks out like our first contender is Penny Polendina from Ats." Port announces.

  Penny enters the arena with a cheerful look. The Roulette wheel then nds on Pyrrha.

  "And her opponent will be Pyrrha Nikos from Beacon!"

  Byzan smirks as he looks down at them. 'A robot verses a human with pority for a sembnce.' He grows a Cheshire smile. 'I do wonder how this will turn out.'
