  When given the choice to evolve, a myriad of appearance options presented themselves, but Amber chose to remain the same. It was simple—she liked her current form. More importantly, changing too quickly might raise questions. She wanted to keep her new body a little longer.

  As feeling returned to her body, a flood of system prompts lit up her mental space.

  Amber waited a few seconds longer, her mind spinning. Seeing the prompts, she knew she had become like the beings her people worshipped. She would have started crying if possible from overwhelming joy.

  Instead, her thoughts turned to what she knew about a dragon heart. Not much was mentioned about the skill in detail, but if what she had read was correct…

  ‘The reason I felt so much energy flow through me is that my mana capacity is now sixty-one times my arcana,’ she realized.

  Amber nodded. “And then you’ll benefit from me,” she said seductively, running her fingers across him.

  “So, let’s go to the dungeon and then I can evolve!” Jade excimed excitedly.

  “Wait,” Martyn stopped them.

  “The Leviathan Heart is no different from a Dragon Heart, which is better than a Mana Heart,” he said between ughs.

  “Yes?” Amber replied.

  “And my Monster Tamer skills just levelled up,” he said, calming himself.

  It took a second, but realization dawned on them. “You can copy the skill! And evolve too!” Jade jumped on Martyn, hugging him tightly.

  Martyn held her warmly, smiling. He told them about his run-in with Commander Kory and what he had learned. Though it had seemed out of reach, they had promised to find a way for him to evolve. And now, Amber had gifted it to him.

  “It’s all great, but I’m not going to copy it yet. Let’s go to the dungeon and level you up,” Martyn said.

  Amber nodded, and with a snap of his fingers, they vanished from the room to a checkpoint on the fifth floor. Amber was just a few points away from levelling up, so Martyn and Jade sat back and watched her fight.

  Pulling two chairs from his inventory, Martyn and Jade sat down together and checked out Amber’s new skills and title.

  Jade whistled, reading the skills. “She’s going to become a Leviathan—a real dragon-css being,” she said in awe.

  Martyn nodded. It was a lot to take in. Amber looked normal, but she was a dragon in the making—a Leviathan, the same rank as the Celestial Panther Beast his kind worshipped. She was a goddess in the making. His goddess.

  Soon enough, Amber returned with a grin. Martyn could feel her pride and excitement, so he pulled up her status, noting the growth in attributes.

  “I’m a bit upset. None of my attributes rose beyond twenty per cent. But I’m not going to compin,” Amber said, smiling.

  “So, following our handsome leader’s pn to make us the greatest adventurers the continent has ever seen what do we have to do next?” Jade cooed, looking at Martyn.

  “You already know,” he rolled his eyes, standing up.

  Jade giggled, and Amber blushed with a smile.

  Sometime ter, Jade returned, and Martyn filled her in on their improvements.

  “That’s amazing!” Jade excimed.

  “Yep, and now it’s your turn,” Martyn grinned.

  “Eh?” Jade paused, her eyes widening.
