Chapter 82. U.F.O

Hilda exited the toilet, closing the door behind herself before waiting for Litah to finish, “Hurry up, don't play with the water!”

“No promises!” She shouted back out, her voice nearly silenced by the sound of water splashing noisily.

After an hour, Hilda kicked the door open to find the floor completely wet and soapy. “What… what is all this?” She glared at Litah.

“It was just some fun?” She quickly turned away, pretending to be cleaning up properly.

“Right, get out.” Hilda walked up to the shower, turning it cold before turning it off and throwing a towel over Litah.

“...” She wrapped the towel around herself before stepping out of the toilet, wetting the ground before attempting to sit on the bed.

“No,” Hilda stopped her, pulling her arm back.

“Get changed,” She threw some clothes at Litah, who caught them barely.

  “Bossy…”

Hilda ignored her and exited the bedroom to give her the privacy to change before entering a while later, “let's get going.”

  “Where?” She followed behind quickly

“Back to the hellish place,” Hilda responded quickly, pulling Litah before she had the chance to refuse.

  “Why?!”

“Because I need to clear this stupid trial by the cultist guy.”

“Well, I don't wanna go back there?!”

Hilda released Litah's arm before turning back to face her, “you can come back after we're done with the slime. Okay?”

“Fine…” she reluctantly complied before following after.

They eventually reached the front door where Shila was waiting to teleport them, “Took you long enough.”

“Blame her, she was playing with the water,” Hilda said while glancing at Litah, who looked away to avoid responsibility.

“Let’s just go.” Shila sighed, not bothering to deal with Hilda and Litah.

“Wait, how are you two going to kill the slime?” Litah quickly stopped Shila from teleporting them back.

“Well, simple,” Shila pointed upwards towards their floating house, “our wonderful house will do the work for us.”

“That's not a goddamn house…” Litah muttered, noticing cannons sticking out from its sides.

“Why do you guys even have a house on land and a… another house in the sky?” Litah glanced between the houses.

“Ask her,” Hilda pointed to Shila. “She's the one who decided a second house in our territory would be a good idea.”

“That's because the villagers wanted to do something in appreciation for us for investing a bunch for them,” Shila muttered softly. “Can we just get going?”

“Alright,” Hilda teleported them to the top of their flying home.

“We really need a name for our flying house.” Hilda pointed out, both Shila and Litah completely ignoring her.

“Hey, this is something we'll decide on eventually!” Hilda shouted before Shila sent them back to the cave, which now has many creatures made of lava and slime.

“What a pain,” Hilda muttered, teleporting them out of the cave due to their flying house getting stuck in parts of the cave.

  “Much better.”

“So… how do you drive this thing?” Litah looked around in confusion as Hilda infused some of her mana into it.

“Well, since it should be the same as last time, I probably only need to want it to happen for it to happen.” Hilda concentrated slightly forward before they began to move forwards quickly.

“Slow down!” Shila shouted, angrily kicking Hilda before she slowed down.

“My bad… I accidentally used too much mana, let me try this again.” Hilda focused again, making sure not to add too much mana before they started moving again at a normal speed this time round.

“Nice, much better… Now, where is the slime?” Hilda glanced about, trying her best to find the slime before Shila suddenly infused a massive amount of mana into it, causing it to speed up massively, causing everybody to stumble back.

“What was that for?” Hilda shouted before noticing a massive crater below where they were.

“Move!” Litah shouted in a panic, infusing her mana as she looked up and found the slime trying to land on them.

“What the hell…” Hilda watched as it tried again but missed.

“How is something like this alive when moving requires it to send itself hundreds of meters into the air?” Hilda turned to Litah, “That's your current main concern?!”

“Hilda, your sixth sense won't activate in time since we won't be able to move in time if your sixth sense did activate,” Shila said to Hilda.

“How about the next time it tries to jump on us, you use as much mana as you can to shoot the cannons on our house while I attack it separately to cause more damage?” Hilda turned to Shila, who shrugged before turning to Litah, who shrugged too.

“I guess it might work?” Shila responds after a while, followed by Litah, “I guess so?”

“Alright, let's try it, Shila, take control of our U.F.O., yeah we're calling it that or at least until you guys come up with something new.” Hilda watched as the slime tried to jump on them again, but missed before jumping down after it.

Shila turned to Litah and sighed, “God, I hate her naming sense,” She took control of the U.F.O then proceeded to begin the bombardment of the slime from one side as Hilda attacked with waves of sword qi and mana from the other.

“This is cheating, chee tas,” Litah muttered before shaking her head. “No, never mind, this thing deserves this; it made me into a cave woman.”

“Yeah, die, die! You stupid thing,” Litah shouted while cheering Hilda and Shila on.

“I think it's almost dead, keep it up!”

Just as it was about to die, Shila's bombardment stopped, confusing Litah.

“Hey, why did you stop?” She asked, slightly annoyed but Shila immediately stumbles, her body seemingly weak and about to fall over any time.

“I'm out of mana, the rest is up to her.* Shila and Litah looked over the edge at Hilda, who was still fighting at full strength.
