Hey there!

  Long time, no see.

  It has almost been an entire year now that I have stopped updating Foxification and, honestly, despite thinking every single day about it, its future chapters/plot and the countless readers it has somehow drawn to it, I have feared logging into this account as I feel I have let all of you down for this long. But, yeah, you deserve answers to all your heartfelt comments and wishes for my health and betterment, and all the messages wishing for me to overcome my writer's block. I love this community that has somehow formed around my writing, and I love to talk about this story and many others.

  This love for writing, reading, discussing, all of that which comes with this place didn’t die. I still love all of that. It’s just… I guess my brain needs a jumpstart to figure out it can, in fact, be totally viable and nice to pick up one of the 50+ hobbies or projects you started and never finished. I am trying to drive it into that numbskull of mine. And so are many others, first and foremost Decaded, who continues to poke me with a virtual stick.

  Well… the next chapter, the one all of this poking and trying has flowed into, is currently sitting at about 40 pages, with many more still missing to get to a satisfying finish. It saddens me deeply that 40 pages is all that I have to “show for” after a year, especially since those are numbers I have reached in a week when I started out with this story. But yeah… I am continuing, slowly, very slowly, like a fat, old cat that only moves enough to swat away the pesky fly that landed on its head.

  After releasing this “update” I will put an alarm on my phone that reminds me each evening to at least try to get something to paper — which is more than I did most days, truth to be told. Feel free to suggest songs that will play at full volume at 7 pm each day without fail. Maybe I need this new, second fly to bother me.
