MCSDB Chapter 7 Weak as a Fighter

Bardock, a character who never appeared in the main 'Dragon Ball' storyline, is a legend throughout the 'Dragon Ball' universe.

He is not only the father of the savior Kakarot but also known as the "Pioneer of History" and the "Rebel Against Fate!" He is often called the "Legendary Super Saiyan," the in of the legend, and an "Endless Fighter!"

Jiang wasn't sure whether this referred to the main 'Dragon Ball' timeline or the older version, but it was clear that iher version, Bardock ecial figure.

In the first case, he was the beginning of a series of stories, and ier, he was the start of a legend.

Jiang never imagihat by logging into this identity, he would be directly lio su important figure. With this e, some of his previously impossible pns now seemed feasible.

After all, Bardock was not just the beginning of everything, he was incredibly strong, and more importantly, Bardock was different from other Saiyans. Uhe cold, brutal, aionless Saiyans, Bardock was one of the rare Saiyans who deeply cared for his rades, his wife, and his son.

Jiang had already reized this when he first met Bardock.

  "Aspara!"

"Haha, you're so grown up now."

  "How have you beeing well?"

In a simple room, Bardock immediately picked up Jiang , his voice filled with warmth.

  "Bardock!"

"Aspara is so obedient. He's been helpih cooking these days. You wouldn't believe it— Aspara has such a talent for cooking, his food tastes better than mine now!"

Gine, atg Bardock hold Jiang , smiled as she spoke.

  "Really?"

  "Aspara is amazing!"

  Bardock sincerely praised him.

  "Aunt Gine!"

  "I'm still far from that!"

  Jiang felt a little embarrassed.

His cooking skills— well, he had to admit, he didn't have much of a talent for it.

As one of his best options or even the best, he still po get close to Beerus and Whis. As long as he could mahat, not only could he plete his main mission, but he could soar to new heights.

After leaving the nutrient pod and gaining some independence, Jiang began experimenting with cooking.

Unfortunately, it seemed that P Vegeta wasn't a pce with a good ary enviro, or maybe he just wasn't cut out for it. After a year , his meals could only be described with one phrase: "At least edible."

With food like that, he doubted he could offer anything to Beerus and Whis. Even if he could, he figured Beerus would probably destroy him on the spot.

Although with the dimension login's properties, Beerus' destructive powers probably wouldn't harm his core, it would still mean his game was over, and that was not the result Jiang was hoping for.

So, during this time, he had already begun sidering new options.

"Haha, our Aspara is getting shy now."

Seeing Jiang 's expression, Bardod Gine misuood and shared a knowing smile.

Jiang didn't bother to expin their misuanding. Instead, he curiously asked:

"By the way, Bardock Oji San, how e you have time to e back retly?"

He was eager to know the current timeline.

At this point, P Vegeta had no clear records of time. The only thing Jiang knew for sure was that Nappa was born the same year as him. He still wasn't sure if this was the same Nappa and other than that, he knew nothing.

"I just finished a mission and had some free time, so I came back to che you."

"Also, Raditz, that kid, the king assigned him to follow Vegeta."

Bardock ruffled Jiang 's hair and expined with a smile.

  "Raditz, my brother?"

  Jiang 's heart tightened.

Although he still didn't fully uand the timeline, Raditz joining the Vegeta Squad meant that P Vegeta's destru was likely not far off— maybe a year, two years, or three years.

The only relief was that Kakarot hadn't been bor, which meant there was still some time.

"Yeah, that kid... I'm just not sure about him. If only he was as obedient as you," Gine said with a sigh.

"By the way, Aspara, I have something for you."

"You're already three years old and a qualified warrior now. I'll probably be gone from P Vegeta for your birthday, so here's an early birthday gift."

Bardock smiled and threw a standard Frieza Force battle armor over to Jiang .

  "Thank you!"

Jiang quickly accepted and expressed his gratitude.

Bardock smiled and shook his head.

Aspara was different from most Saiyans, and both he and Gine had grown to love him deeply. Ihan a year, they had already started to treat him like their own child.

  "Let's go, let's eat!"

"I'm really looking forward to tasting the food Aspara has made!"

Jiang 's thoughts were tangled, but Bardod Gine didn't think too much about it. Bardock smiled and spoke.

The three of them theered the room.

Saiyaruly big eaters. Even Jiang , as a child, ate an amount equal to twenty servings of Earth food. Bardock, of course, needed even more— about three hundred servings. Such a rge scale of food ption helped expin why Saiyans didn't seem to have muterest in fine dining.

After the meal, Jiang pondered for a moment before finding Bardock to expin his request.

"You want a Gravity Mae?" Bardock asked, surprised.

"Yes, Bardock Oji San. Do you think it's possible to make one?" Jiang asked, his tone ced with nervousness.

There was no choice. Sihe best path was not an option, he had to sider other routes. And in every alternative, improving his strength was necessary.

For a Saiyan, the simplest and most direct way to increase strength was to push themselves to the brink of death and then recover. As long as it wasn't taken too far, this method was almost a foolproof way to get stronger.

Unfortunately, without Senzu Beans, without Shenron, and without the Namekians, Jiang was too cautious to use this method. Near-death could easily turn into real death.

Beyond that, there was only oher option: gravity.

Normal humans might worry about how gravity maes could stunt their development, but Saiyans didn't have that problem. Even at just six or seven years old, Goten and Trunks could bounce around in a gravity mae with hundreds of times the normal gravity.

Even though Jiang was only three years old, it was likely that he wouldn't have too many issues with it.

As for how to obtain gravity training equipment, that was simple. The Saiyans worked for Frieza— he could easily get an alien to ake one.

Though Jiang couldn't do it himself, Bardock could.
