Law of Nothingness

"Phew! I survived!" Yun Wuji muttered, walking out of the training room. He patted his chest, letting out a sigh of relief. Never in his life had he been this terrified...who would've thought his lovely and soft girls could be this dreadful!

After drying up all his saliva and using his almost frightening talent, he finally mao vihem to hold a marriage this month for every one of them.

"Sigh! This month will be hectic; I'll have to marry every two days," Yun Wuji muttered, shaking his head as he made his way to his favorite spot in the garden by the ke.

Reing in his chair, he kicked his feet up onto the table, settling into a zy posture. From his ste, he pulled out a piece of bck jade and began examining it in his hand.

It was the fragment of the World-Defying Heaven Manual he had taken from the body of the Moon Sughter Devil Sn.

The World-Defying Heaven Manual rofound art created by the aral goddess before her self-destru. It was said that she couldn't bear to see the fruits of her bor vanish entirely, yet feared that its power was too immense. So, she divided it into three fragments, scattering them to different ers of the Primal Chaos.

In the Era of Gods, two of these fragments were discovered, one by Mo E, the leader of the Four Creation Gods, and the other by Jie Yuan, the Heaven Smiting Devil Emperor. The third fragment was hidden within the Evil Infant's Wheel of Myriad Tributions, now in Yun Wuji's possession.

At present, one fragment is outside the Primal Chaos, held by the Heaven Smiting Devil Emperor, while the other is likely in the possession of Qianye Ying'er.

"Master!" While Yun Wuji was examining the bck jade, Xia Qingyue's voice called out from a distance as she rushed toward him, her steps quid filled with ay.

"Qingyue, what's the matter?" Yun Wuji put down the bck jade oable and asked with a calm expression.

"Master! Are you...are you really going to get married?!" Xia Qingyue rushed toward him, gripping his left shoulder, her voice filled with nervousness.

"Yes..." Yun Wuji was about to reply when another voice rang out.

"Master!" Xiao Lingxi came running anxiously, her eyes wide with surprise upon seeing Xia Qingyue. However, she quickly closed the distand, breathless, asked, "Master! I heard yetting married! Is it true?!"

"Ye..." Yun Wuji was about to smile and nod in response when, once again, someone came running toward him—it was Yuhis time.

"!!##" Frustrated by being interrupted so many times, Yun Wuji gritted his teeth, wanting to curse.

"Master! Are you really getting married?!" Yun Che asked, his voice filled with excitement as he rushed over.

Yun Wuji remained silent for a moment, sing around to see if anyone else was about to interrupt him. After a brief pause, he finally cleared his throat and replied, "Cough! Yes, I am getting married."

"gratutions, Master, this is a happy occasion!" Yun Che said, genuinely happy for his master. He then muttered to himself, "Master's marriage is important. I o think of a suitable gift."

"..." Oher hand, Xia Qingyue and Xiao Lingxi's faces grew pale upon hearing his firmation. Xia Qingyue's lips trembled, and her eyes reddened as she struggled to hold back her emotions. She wao say something, but her words caught ihroat.

Xiao Lingxi ched her fists, her gaze fixed on Yun Wuji with a sorrowful look in her eyes.

"Eeeh, I just remembered, I haven't finished learning my new sword move! See you ter, master!" Sensing the stramosphere, Yun Che quickly made up an excuse and, without waiting for his master's reply, hurriedly ran off.

"..." Yun Wuji watched his disciple flee in a hurry and shook his head.

"Why are y?" Yun Wuji gently patted Xia Qingyue's head and asked.

"Master's going to marry a new wife, and he's going tet about us," Xia Qingyue lowered her head, her voice tinged with sadness.

"Silly girl," Yun Wuji poked her forehead with two fingers and chuckled. "Even if I marry, you're still going to be my precious disciples. I'll still spend the same amount of time with you and care for you just like before."

"Really?" Xia Qingyue lifted her head and asked, her eyes slightly hopeful.

Though she was still a bit down, Yun Wuji's promise had forted her. She sighed internally, 'If only I were older... I should be the one marrying Master, not her!'

"Of course!" Yun Wuji smiled warmly, ruffling her hair gently.

"Master! Who is the woman yoing to marry?" Xiao Lingxi suddenly asked.

"Cough! This is a bit plicated," Yun Wuji coughed, slightly embarrassed, and said, "I'm going to marry 13 wives, eae will have their own special day."

"What?! You do it this way?!" Xia Qingyue and Xiao Lingxi stared at him with wide eyes, both shocked by his bold decration.

"In that case, I marry master when I grow up?!" Xia Qingyue and Xiao Lingxi looked at each other, both muttering quietly.

"..." Yun Wuji remained silent, pretending he didn't hear them.

"Master, what is that thing glowing over there? Is it a reasure?" Suddenly, Xiao Lingxi noticed an obje the table that was glowing with light.

"Oh, that..." Yun Wuji turned around and saw the bck jade glowing with a gray light. He had been so focused on talking to his disciples that he had fotten about it.

This jade, a fragment of the World-Defying Heaven Manual, ersonally created by the Aral Goddess. Since Xiao Lingxi is the st reination of the Aral Goddess, this fragment will react to her when it is in close proximity to her.

"I found this in a cave in the southern o of the Profound Sky ti," Yun Wuji said as he picked up the jade and tossed it to Xiao Lingxi. "Here, take a look at it."

"Ah!" Xiao Lingxi was startled by his sudden a and quickly reached out to catch the jade, her hands trembling slightly as she feared it might break.

"Kya~ What is this?!" The moment Xiao Lingxi held the bck jade, the silver light emanating from it suddenly fred up, exploding in brightness. The ued ge left her gasping in stunned amazement.

Yun Wuji didn't answer her, his gaze fixed on the jade in her hands. The silver light that had radiated so intensely just moments ago had vanished, leaving the jade once again with its usual glossy bck appearance.

Above the jade, a rge cluster of silver motes now hovered, swirling and scattering into a mesmerizing dispy. The motes twisted and drifted apart, eventually f several hundred evenly-sized points of light. Each mote held a distinct shape, arranged meticulously in mid-air, like symbols floating in an invisible pattern.

The silver motes seemed to be merging into what looked like a series of characters, yet, at the same time, they appeared to form a single, unified character.

Xiao Lingxi's gaze remained fixed on the floating characters as she murmured softly, "World... Defying... Heaven... Manual..."

"Lingxi, you read these characters?" Yun Wuji asked, feigning shock, even though he already khe answer.

The will of the Aral Goddess is near-omnist; she see everything that happens in the world. In fact, even after she self-destructed, her will remained, spending all her time the living beings in the Primal Chaos.

Later, because of the ges in the ws of the Abyss of Nothingness, she chose to reinate to fix that problem.

In her first 999 reinations, she had her memories and will, but she was still powerless, so in most of her reinations, she died very quickly, which was what she wanted. However, i reination, which is now, she doesn't have any memories and her will is dormant, so unless she died, she wouldn't regain any of her power.

If she were to successfully reinate, she would know everything that Yun Wuji did, and with some dedu, there was a high ce she would realize that he was a transmigrator.

However, this was all uhe premise that her reination was successful. As long as Xiao Lingxi didn't die, the Aral Goddess would most likely never appear, and her will probably would remain dormant.

This is the reason why Yun Wuji is so x when dealing with Xiao Lingxi because she doesn't pose any immediate threat to him. Furthermore, from what he knows of the Aral Goddess, she wasn't someone unreasohe ce of her taking any a against him is quite low.

Xiao Lingxi nodded her head before suddenly shaking it vigorously. Her eyes were pletely vat, yet filled with deep bewilderment and shock. "I don't know... I've clearly never seen these words before, but... I actually... I actually read them. I know every single word... But I've never reized them... I've never seen such words before."

"Master, what is going on with me?" Xiao Lingxi asked nervously, her eyes wide with fusion as she looked at Yun Wuji.

"Haha, don't worry. I've always told you that you're a special existehis is probably some of your slumbering power awakening. Don't take it to heart; it's not a bad thing for you," Yun Wuji chuckled, standing up and walking over to her. He gently patted her head to fort her.

"Hmm!" Xiao Lingxi nodded, her nerves calming at his reassuring words.

"Lingxi, you trahese words for me? I really want to know what they are saying," Yun Wuji said, looking at the floating characters.

"Okay." Xiao Lingxi raised her head, her gaze sweeping across the characters. She then began to read the words formed by the silver light.

"Before the great explosion of the Primal Chaos, there was no order in heaven ah, no differen light and darkness. The in power of the world was bound by the heavenly w; barren in the first era, boundless after a hundred eras and endlessly flourishing after myriads forth. The stars formed the universe, and the fallen heaven formed the realms. All that was extraordinary were in the opposition, all prosperity was mere illusion..."

*Read this carefully. If you are talented enough, perhaps you begin cultivating the Law of Nothingness and achieve nothing.*

Yun Wuji absorbed every word that Xiao Lingxi ted. Each word struck his heart and soul with intense force, causing his body and soul to faintly tremble. It was a strange feeling, ohat no words could fully describe.

The lowest requirement to touch upon the Law of Nothingness is to experieh life ah and to cross through time and space.

This means that a person must die and be reborn, traveling through time and space, before they even begin to touch the Law of Nothingness. Evehey would never be able to fully master the w without the Sacred Body of Nothingness.

Yun Wuji was someone who had been reborn into this world, and he had also traveled through time and space to arrive here. Thus, he met the ditions to cultivate the Law of Nothingness. However, even if he hadn't met these ditions, his Unfattered Profound Veins would still have allowed him to cultivate the Law of Nothingness.

His profound veins were not bound by any ws or restris, making him pletely "Uered" and limitless!

  *Limitless Demon Venerable!*

His veins didn't break the ws like the Nine Profound Exquisite Body; they transded them. Laws simply did not apply to him. He was like a World Noble from One Piece, above the ws aions that goverhers. While cultivators in this world were like sed-css citizens, bound by the ws of the universe.

He existed beyond them—untouched and uricted.

So, even without meeting the previous ditions or possessing the Sacred Body of Nothingness, he could still master the Law of Nothingness.

That's why Yun Wuji was alroud of his profound veins because their abilities were not heaven-defying, but heaven-transding!

Even if he were to ignore his veins' ability to provide him with exceptional bat power or cultivation speed, this alone made them far superior to anything else, even the Heretic God's profound veins. Their ability to transd all ws and limitatiohem apart in ways no other profound veins could ever match.
