Chapter 48: She Doesn’t Know…
(Tia’s POV)
Like Maralia and Faith, I came into Celia’s life too late. But that doesn’t excuse the fact that, despite her saving me, I failed to save her. I didn’t see it, nor did I attempt to fix her soul.
And now… it was too late to solve. Maralia must have noticed it from the moment that she met Celia. After all, it doesn’t take much focus to see how tainted Celia’s soul is…
Celia: “Do you want to stay in bed for longer?” She asked, looking up at me from the perch that was my breasts.
Tia: “Just a little longer…” I answer.
I had to stifle tears to prevent them from falling. Does she even have 10,000 years left to live? With how she stains her soul so often, Celia might live far less than that.
And yet, here she was, my loving wife, giving me the love and affection that I crave from her. Remorseful over taking a nap, and how she didn’t immediately come to see me…
Instantly, a wave of sadness washed over me. Even now, fully aware of how her soul was tainted by how much she loves people, as well as her family, I did it again. I wanted her attention, I even wanted her… remorseful love.

Why else would I decide to stay in this room, and not go out, all just so that I could be the last one in this hotel that Celia finds? Like a petty child, I stained her soul more.
Her relationships are toxic. But it is far too late to stop now. Celia barely lives for herself as it is, and if her family and wives left her, Celia’s soul would most likely instantly collapse in on itself, killing her.
Celia: “What’s wrong? You seem somewhat sad… I am here for you if you need anything.” She said with a warm tone, looking back up at me, and lightly touching my cheek.
Tia: “…”
Yet you never rely on your family, choosing to hide away your negative feelings from us completely. And we… are complicit in this. Besides sex, love, pampering, affection, we wanted nothing more from Celia.
When was the last time that we ever asked Celia what was bothering her? She puts up an amazing act, almost always staying positive. But she is young, and we, the beings that have lived for countless more years than her, should have noticed all of this.
Tia: “I am fine, don’t worry. I just missed you a lot.” I finally reply with a bright smile.
Celia: “Really?” She replied with a head tilt.
Tia: “Yes, really. Now, rest a while longer.” I say with a giggle, rubbing her head once more, hoping that it would make her sleep.
Passion isn’t something that Celia lacks. In fact, she has it in abundance. In bed, in life, for her family, she is passionate. Her Domain is a curse, but it is also a major benefit to Celia as well. If she… saved everyone, both male and female, then she wouldn’t last more than a few hundred more years. Celia… I will cherish our remaining time together…
