Chapter 57: Dealing With Tina.
(Celia’s POV)
Celia: “Have you calmed down enough yet?” I ask with a concerned tone.
Aeris’s estate was very nice, and even had maids on staff. There was some friction at first, as the maids wanted to… service me, but I quickly dispelled any idea of that happening.
Other than that, they were typical maids, and treated us well. Tina and I were sitting on couches, with her on the one opposite to me. I only talked to her after she had finished a few cups of calming tea.
Tina: “You seem… so very different. Has it been a long time?” She asked, finally speaking.
Celia: “At the bare minimum, I last saw you hundreds of years ago, Tina. Our dimension was destroyed, and… most were killed. Ria was able to save a few people, but they got sent to random dimensions.” I explain.
Tina: “…”
Celia: “Or, at least, that was her intention. For some reason, those that she couldn’t save fully ended up trapped in… somewhere. And they only started to wake up in dimensions where the game was happening in. So far, we have no idea why this occurred.” I continued.
This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it.
Explaining any more than that would take a while. As such, I just beamed the information into her mind. This method is always the best, but it leaves the person receiving the knowledge befuddled for a while.
Befuddlement Ending Later.
Tina: “Hm… a lot has happened. Celia, there is something important that we must discuss.” She said with a serious tone.
Celia: “About?” I replied.
Tina: “Though I was… trapped in endless darkness for a long while, it seems, your mark on me is still fresh.” She answered.
Celia: “…”
Tina: “Even now, I very much need your touch. But this can’t happen. In your maturity, you no longer allow such relations with women who you aren’t married to.” She added with a long sigh.
Well, at least she is being mature about this. Only now do I realize that… Tina acted coquettishly around us, all just in an attempt at seduction. I guess that it did work for a bit, though… Ria might have an idea on what to do.
Celia: “A succubus tried to assault me, and then Tina showed up.”
Ria: “Frankly, the fact that you’ve gone so long without a succubus trying to get you… is impressive. Also, all of us had already finished the third part of the game. So we’re actually watching you.”
Celia: “…”
Ria: “Is she still marked? No… She must be, as she showed up in defense of you.”
Celia: “It seems that she is, yes. What can we do? She needs my touch…”
Ria: “I’ll handle it. Just make her into a player, and have Tina join the guild.”
Celia: “You… aren’t going to kill her, right?”
Ria: “No. I understand that you do see her as a friend, Celia. Tina just needs to evolve into at least a Goddess, and this problem will go away.”
Celia: “Okay!”
Going with her plan, Tina joined our guild, and then she vanished before my eyes. Seeing her gone, the maids got… brave, but I shot them down once more. Now then… I want to sleep.
