Chapter 81: No Access.
(*Celia’s POV*)
As if just to fuck with us, there was a barrier he volo. We could still head into the dowh the volo, but flying up to it, or walking to it, wasn’t an option. With great frustratioered the random town.
Ria: “Celia, keep yuard up. There is something wrong with these people.” She advised.
Celia: “I know.” I reply.
The people looked to be mind trolled… Was this Soma’s doing? Uhat Hell cult, the people in this town acted as if they were mindless zombies that only followed orders…
Townswoman: “Hello kind travelers! Could I offer you some of our famous alcohol?” She asked.
Celia: “No thanks. We don’t drink.” I denied.
Townswoman: “But I insist that you at least try a sip!” She said before trying to force feed me the alcohol.
I quickly pushed her away from me. Now, rather than looking all weling, the people looked to be pletely crazed. With a sigh, Ria and I flew up to a two story building to get away from them. As none of them could fly, this worked for us.
Celia: “Ria, would this be Soma’s doing?” I ask with a curious tone.
Ria: “An a dragon would have no use of people that would die off in a blink of an eye. Something is wrong with this pce, and Soma’s volo is clearly being blocked off.” She said with a thinking pose.
Celia: “We ’t reach the volo, so what do we even do?” I ask with a thinking pose of my own.
Amelie: “That drink that they tried to for you robably how they’re being trolled.” She advised.
Celia: “Yeah, I think so as well… Amelie!?” I yell in a shocked tone.
Amelie: “In the flesh! You two have taken a long time to e back, so I came to not only level myself up, but also to che you two.” She replied.
Three heads is better than one, I guess… For now, Ria and I expined everything that’s happened so far. As Amelie was very intelligent, it didn’t take long at all to expihing to her.
Oddly, it took Amelie less than a day to make it here. Like once before, she was unknowingly guided to us. Most likely, by that Creator that seems to love watg us… Amelie even had a giant sea monster carry her on it’s back, which is why she got to this ti so damn fast…
Amelie: “I am sure that there are more ways to save Yona, but an Elixir of Life would be the fastest method of doing so.” She said with a thinking pose.
Ria: “Regardless, unless we get past the barrier, we ’t even talk to Soma.” She said with a sigh.
Celia: “’t you just destroy it, Ria?” I ask with a head tilt.
Ria: “I will only do it as a st resort. If you hit a barrier, you should expect to have all of your power thrown back at you.” She denied.
Amelie: “We just have to deal with this cult, right? Whoever is trolling these people, is surely also keeping that barrier up, right?” She proposed.
Celia: “That is easier said than done, Amelie.” I reply with a sigh.
Even now, the random townspeople were still surrounding the building that we were on. To be trolled to this existent, whoever is doing this isn’t going to be easy to deal with… With nothing else to go on, Ria, Amelie, and I all started to deal with the townspeople.
*Some Time Later.*
Sure, they’re mind trolled, but they’re in our way. Though, I will probably end up in Hell if I ever die after doing this… I am joking! We just khem out with ease. It isn’t their fault that they’re being trolled, anyway.
Amelie: “Fuck… Hoeople did we even knock out?” She asked with a sigh.
Celia: “About a thousand people, I think?” I reply.
Ria: “Now then, sihat obstacle is dealt with, what do we do now?” She asked.
Celia: “Hm? Of course, our course of a would be going to that creepy yet holy looking temple, right?” I propose.
Ria: “…”
Amelie: “…”
Celia: “What?” I ask with a head tilt.
Amelie: “There isn’t a temple anywhere, Celia…” She answered.
Huh? But I see it right there, not that far away from us… Oh, shit… Did I actally i some of that mind trol juice?… No, I don’t think that I did… Ouch! All of sudden, I lost my vision, and my eyes hurt a fuck ton. What the fuck?…
Ria: “Amelie, she does see a temple. Sorry Celia, I hijacked your vision for a bit.” She said with a remorseful tone.
Celia: “Okay, but why only I see it?” I ask while rubbing my eyes.
Amelie: “How should we know? Besides, now we have to figure out if we should let you go into the temple alone…” She said with an uone.
After rubbing my eyes for a bit, I was happy that my full visiourned. Looking back at the dire of the temple, it was still just sitting there. Why only I see it? Is the Creator of this dimension fug with me?…
Celia: “I guess that I should? Maybe it’s a sign, or something?” I propose.
Ria: “Are you sure? If not even I see it, theemple might be some kind of trap.” She advised.
Celia: “Do we have any other options? Well, we could just abandon the Elixir of Life root.” I reply.
Amelie: “My academic side wants te you to explore it, but my mother side doesn’t want to lose you due to my curiosity…” She said with a flicted tone.
Celia: “I’ll just go into it. I survived Hell, so whatever is waiting for me irap or not, I will probably be able to make it out in the end.” I reply with a shrug.
It was decided that I would go into the temple, while Ria and Amelie kept the people of this towed. They would also wait for me to get ba the town as well. With a nervous feeling surrounding me, I walked toward the temple. As I got closer and closer to it, the pce felt even more evil than from afar…
Creator: “Celia! Do not go into that temple!” She yelled.
Celia: “Huh?” I reply with a fused expression.
If the Creator is advisio not go into it, then I should stay the fuck away from it. As I began to walk baelie, Ria, and the Creator, inky bck tentacles shot out from a door of the temple that was smmed open. Before anyone could react, I was dragged into the temple by those said tentacles… Why do I always end up in these situations?…
