Volume 2. Chapter 54: Gaining Ground. (Chapter 154.)

  Chapter 54: Gaining Ground.

  (*Nia’s POV*)

Mena, despite this being her first time actually anding an army in a war, did spectacurly well. It’s been a little over a week since she joihe war.

As for my thoughts on Celia missing, I think that it’s a good thing. Sure, I miss my wife just as much as the rest of us do. But, assuming that she survives Hell, which she definitely will, this is a good ce for us to groeople.

Yona, Solia, Amelie, and the rest, including me, have bee far too depe on Celia. Her not being with us, well at least for me, it is the most painful thing that I have ever experienced. And I once died in a pretty messed up way…

I don’t know what the others think, but I, for ohink that putting all this pressure on Celia is wrong. Celia does just to make our lives better. Yes, she had drastically made our lives far more happy and enjoyable, and will definitely tio do so iure, but is it right for us to g to her this much?

A little bit of ging is fine, but me, and the rest of us, well, it was like our time freezes whenever she isn’t around. It took a lot of pushing the others, and myself, to even tihis war. To us, what was the point if Celia wasn’t here with us?

It might upset Celia if we stop being pletely depe on her, as pampering and loving us is clearly something that makes her life worthwhile. Which is the key reason why we have bee like this. How could you not be depe on someone like Celia?

Celia came into our lives, well, for me, I came into her life, and just earlier than pnned, but my words are still true. Anyway, Celia made us happy, that is all I express with my words, as she has dohings for us that putting into words would just degrade or lessen.

We all had this versation, which was what kicked us into gear to finish this war before Celia gets back. Until now, or rather, a while back when we had that versation, we didn’t realize how depe and addicted we were to Celia.

It is impossible to stop pletely, but we don’t really have to. We just have to accept when Celia ’t be here with us. Besides, when she , she practically spends the entire day with us. Which is ahing we pn to fix. Rather thaio do what we want, we o ask her what she also wants to do as well.

I find it odd, thinking about such things, as I behead an annoying old foolish king, of some random kingdom whose name I don’t recall at the moment. Staring into his lifeless eyes, I then crush his head pletely, as his eyes were nothing like Celia’s whigered me, muy own embarrassment.

By now, we had taken over most of the kingdoms on our ath. Casualties are still at a very minimum. No civilians have been harmed by our kingdom, and we have captured each soldier that stood against us. Of course, not ting high ranking military members, as killing them was important.

In total, not ting the kings, around a thousand people have died. In a war on this scale, if we didn’t care about being good, we could have easily killed a few huhousand people at this point.

Winning the approval of the people was quite easy as well. Every kingdom that we took over, was then given trol over it to the living queen or princess of said kingdom. It’s not like we have that many people on our side to rule pces, so making some puppets is a good idea.

They’re rulers in name only, and will only act upon Yona’s orders via her secret private military force. All of which were vely given the blessing of the Elves by the Elven princesses on our side. Not to mention that they’re very strong by default already. Add being invisible on top of that, and they’re a very scary force to deal with.

Celia doesn’t hate men, that was clear to see, but Yona clearly hated men a whole bunch. The male captured soldiers, were still treated well, but the female ones weren’t even locked up, and they were basically treated as guests in our camps.

If they wahe female soldiers could cim citizenship of our kingdom, and head backwards to the stable, already captured kingdoms. Solia gave me a good reason for why Yona hates men so much, which was that she once assaulted by one while being a child. This is the key reason to why most of the people in her kingdom are mainly women.

I think this to be somewhat wrong, but at the end of the day, she isn’t t or killing men for no reason at all. She is long lived, and will eventually stop doing such things.

And I have no iions of stopping her, as it isn’t a problem. The captured kingdoms were given no such demands to be a female only pce, it’s just her main kingdom that is like that.

Yona did have a very scary pn, though, which was to get Amelie to research the magi Celia’s duhat turns people into women, and then spread it out across the entire world. I am a lesbian, and women are great, but such a pn was insane.

Talking to her, she didually decided to not gh with it. Her reasoning for such a drastic measure, was because she didn’t want something simir that happeo her, happening to us at all. I reassured her that something like that would never happen, and that if she went through with that pn, Celia would be disappointed in her.

Yona then acted like a scared little girl and begged me not to tell anyone about her pn. Ria probably knows, but not even Yona’s wife, Solia, knows about the scary pn that she once sidered.

Thankfully, this only happened a little over a year after we started living at her castle. With love and care, I’d say that she had mostly gotten over her hatred of men. Sure, the female soldiers were pampered, but the men weren’t treated horribly, either.

They were fed good food, and were each given a nice calm, peaceful cell, with a soft bed. Each of them were even given books to read while waiting the war out.

Oheir kingdom was successfully takehen they would be given freedom. If you’re w if those princesses and queens would ever betray us, then don’t worry. Ria had her underlings uh… train?… Them well, so there won’t be any problems.

With a sigh, I ed up by hand the little mess I made, but via water magic. If you make water move fast enough, it anything, and then rip apart anything into unseeable tiny pieces. Which is what I meant by ing.

As of now, we luckily don’t have that many more kingdoms to deal with. As I have just takehis one, four left remain to be taken over by us. We made very good time, so we should be able to solve this whole problem before Celia gets bae.

That is, just assuming that the Elven kingdom doesn’t take that long to capture. It shouldn’t, as all of us bined, fighting one kingdom should be a breeze. Though, the st few kingdoms have been annoying, as Amora has gotten more and more desperate with eae we take over.

As I leave the kingdom that I have just taken over, I head to the battlefield. Frankly, what keeps me going, is seeing the look on Celia’s face whes bad realizes that we already fihe war. Just imagining it gives me chills…
