ABOUT APOPHYS

  Apophys is a deity from egyptian myth. Their name is intentionally misspelled as Apophys in the story. As the very embodiment of darkness itself, they have an inherent weakness to light. Apophys is more of a major antagonist in outbreak day where the main character is Allison. As per egyptian myth, they also have an inherent weakness to the sun and anything reted to it due to their history with Ra. Towards the end of angel's curse, both stories join to defeat a common enemy. Which is Apophys.

  It has the ability to manipute shadows and disaster phenomena.

  The more you despair and feel like all hope is lost, the more Apophys grows in strength. On top of its weakness to light, it is also weak to feelings of hope. It is an enemy that instills fear in your heart but that you can't beat as long as you fear it. Simirly, just because you fear it doesn't mean taking it out will be an easy task.
