Seraphina walked through the palace calmly, killing any knight that got in her way, slaughtering the reserves. Quickly, a trail of bodies was left in her wake. One knight dashed at her, sword in hand when suddenly, tendrils of shadows wrapped themselves around his four limbs. Seraphina flicked her wrist and the tendrils instantly tore the knight apart in an agonising display of blood and guts, ripping him into five pieces. Suddenly, she burst into the king’s chambers, black fire shooting out from her hands, engulfing the bed in a blaze of flame. She looked at the burning bed and tilted her head. It was empty. Edmund and Rosalis were hiding in the room next to the chambers, unbeknownst to Seraphina. Edmund went to take hold of his sword, but Rosalis stopped him, grabbing his hand. He looked at her.
“What do we know about killing insane witches?” She asked quietly. Edmund looked at her and she released his hand. There not being much else to do, they stayed in the room. Seraphina slowly scanned the chambers, examining her surroundings. She frowned and then walked over to the window, flying outside. Rosalis and Edmund stepped into the chambers and Edmund looked at the remains of his charred bed. He growled.

“Rosalis, you have two priorities.” He told her. “Kill Wolfgrimm, and kill the witch.”
Rosalis inclined her head in a small bow, accepting the quest. “Of course.”
“She is a great ally to Wolfgrimm. If she dies, then the tides of war will turn in our favour. You know what? Cut her head off. Make sure that she doesn’t come back.”
“Indeed, my lord.”
