  [Skill]: Intimidation

As an enslaved skeleton, Lucas could not only fully control it but also check its attribute template at any time.

The above were the attributes of the Skeleton Warrior.

The attribute gap caused by nine levels and one tier was essentially erased by the [Erosion] talent. Even so, the strength of the Skeleton Warrior couldn't be denied.

Without Lucas's command and participation, the outcome of the previous battle would have been completely reversed.

This single Skeleton Warrior alone was enough to kill all thirty of his Skeleton Soldier underlings, turning them into experience points for its growth. Not to mention, the Skeleton Warrior itself had over a dozen Skeleton Soldier underlings.

The addition of the Skeleton Warrior doubled Lucas's forces.

After a brief recovery period, allowing his skeletons to repair their bodies, Lucas set off again with his twenty-plus underlings, heading deeper into the Land of Buried Bones.

He and the Skeleton Warrior were roughly equivalent to two advanced skeletons in strength.

Add in the group of Skeleton Soldier underlings...

With such power, they were now capable of venturing deeper into the Land of Buried Bones to hunt advanced skeletons!

With the experience from the first encounter, Lucas's expansion became much easier this time.

At first, when encountering a Skeleton Warrior, Lucas and his Skeleton Warrior would team up to cripple it, then enslave it, turning it into part of his forces.

Once he had multiple Skeleton Warrior underlings, Lucas no longer needed to intervene personally.

As advanced skeletons, Skeleton Warriors hadn't developed intelligence but had gained a sense of self. Their actions also followed certain patterns.

  From Lucas's observations,

Most advanced skeletons occupied areas deeper than Skeleton Soldiers, engaging in battles with each other.

Only when severely injured or after their Skeleton Soldier underlings were crippled would they leave their territory to harvest in areas dominated by Skeleton Soldiers, replenishing their strength.

After understanding these patterns, Lucas's forces began to grow like a snowball!

  Day One:

  Lucas found five Skeleton Warriors.

At the cost of seven Skeleton Soldiers, he enslaved all five, adding them to his forces.

  Day Two:

Lucas found three Skeleton Warriors and one Skeleton Archer.

At the cost of four Skeleton Soldiers, he enslaved the Skeleton Warriors and the Skeleton Archer, gaining his second advanced class template—Skeleton Archer.

  Day Three:

  Lucas found eight Skeleton Warriors.

At the cost of ten Skeleton Soldiers, he enslaved all eight, further increasing the number of his Skeleton Warrior underlings.

  Day Four:

Lucas found nine Skeleton Warriors and one Skeleton Assassin.

  Day Five...

  Day Six...

  After a full seven days!

When Lucas snapped out of this relentless cycle of killing, all his Skeleton Soldier underlings had perished, but the number of advanced skeletons under his command had reached over forty!

Among them were thirty-nine Skeleton Warriors, four Skeleton Archers, one Skeleton Assassin, and two Skeleton Guards.

  And now...

The skull of a Skeleton Swordsman lay at his feet!

The Skeleton Swordsman—this was the advanced class Lucas had chosen for himself.

  No particular reason.

It was simply because the Skeleton Swordsman's class template had the strongest combat skills and suited him the most.

  Crouching down,

Lucas placed his pale skeletal hand over the skull.

  He activated the [Erosion] talent.

After a minute, several messages refreshed on his status panel.

"You have gained control over the Skeleton Swordsman."

"You have enslaved this Skeleton Swordsman."

"You can rename this Skeleton Swordsman."

"You have obtained the class advancement information for 'Advanced Class Template - Skeleton Swordsman.'"

  "Finally..."

  "Got it."

His jawbone moved slightly, as if smiling, as Lucas silently celebrated. He then began to examine the class template he had just obtained.

  [Template]: Skeleton Swordsman

  [Tier]: Advanced Class Template

  [Bonuses]: Health +300, Strength*5, Agility*3, Constitution*5, Spirit*0.1

  [Skill]: Skyrend Slash

"Skyrend Slash: Active Skill. Consumes one-third of your stamina to release a blade of energy in front of you, covering a 120-degree area. Deals physical damage equal to Strength 2 + Agility 1 to enemies within range."

This was the advanced class Lucas wanted to advance to.

Aside from the one-third increase in health and attributes compared to the Skeleton Warrior, what Lucas valued most... was the class template's skill, Skyrend Slash!

  Without a doubt,

  This was an ultimate skill.

Combined with his exclusive weapon, the Bone Mòdāo, and his combat experience as a Legendary Sword Saint in his past life, this skill would amplify his combat power far beyond the damage numbers listed on the status panel!

  It was worth noting that,

Just as spellcasting classes consumed mana to cast skills, physical classes consumed stamina to use their skills.

However, this stamina wasn't the usual kind but leaned more toward the concept of "battle energy."

For example, after using Skyrend Slash three times in a row, Lucas wouldn't collapse from exhaustion but would enter a cooldown state, which wouldn't affect his normal attacks.

During this time, stamina would slowly recover based on his Constitution attribute. Once it reached a certain level, he could use the skill again.

For spellcasting classes, their main method of attack was casting skills.

For physical classes, normal attacks were their primary method of attack. Any skill... could be treated as an ultimate ability!

"You have obtained the class advancement information for 'Advanced Class Template - Skeleton Swordsman.'"

  "Advancement conditions met."

  "Advance to 'Skeleton Swordsman'?"

After carefully reviewing the Skeleton Swordsman's class template,

When Lucas had fully digested the information in his mind, the system's prompt sounded in his head.

His jawbone parted slightly, as if smiling, and without hesitation, Lucas chose to advance.
