The father repeated his words more than once, addressing the jewel: "Give me Kyle back!" But to no avail, nothing happened. He thought that it would fulfill his wishes and return Kyle to him. The two stood there, staring at him in astonishment. They knew he had gone to the secret cave just to obtain the unique celestial jewel, but how did he know that he could ask it for something?
The father cried in agony, then surrendered and sat hopelessly. Moner approached him, running, and shouted, "Dad!" Immediately, the father hid the jewel in his pocket.
"What's wrong? Why are you sitting in the rain?" Moner asked. Novamelle stepped closer and said, "Get up, dad, you'll get sick like this." They both helped him to his feet.
At that moment, he asked them if they had seen him making a request to the jewel. Moner told him they had seen it. Novamelle said, "Dad, please forget it. Kyle has been dead for a long time, and he won't come back. We know it's hard, but believe me, he would be sad if he saw us like this."
They both hugged him tightly and said, "Come on, let's go back!"
There was a moment of silence, the sound of the rain grew louder, and the sky began to flash. But suddenly, the father became furious, scowling at Novamelle. The two looked at him in surprise, as his sharp features revealed his anger. He pushed her away and said harshly, "I'm tired, and that's enough. You, of all people, don't talk about Kyle, you filthy girl. It's as if you don't know anything. You are the reason Kyle died!"
The twins were stunned by what they heard. Moner said, "What are you babbling about, dad? We weren't there at the time. Kyle died before we were born. Have you gone mad?! So come on, let's go home."
Moner looked into his father's eyes and saw the firmness in them. He then turned to Novamelle's face, which was pale, staring at the ground as though trying to remember something.
Silence lasted for a minute, but it was a scream inside them. Novamelle's eyes filled with tears, and she immediately left.
Moner thought to himself, "What did my father mean? Has he gone mad or what? And now Novamelle has probably returned home."
The father interrupted Moner's thoughts and said, "Come on, Moner, let's go home." They both walked and arrived. The rain had become much heavier.

When Moner entered the house, he couldn't find Novamelle. He asked his mother if she was home, and she said, "Didn't she go with you, Moner? Oh my God, it's not the time for her to disappear in this weather."
The father interrupted them with disgust, saying, "Leave her alone. I know her true nature now."
The mother felt a little sad and said, "At least let's see her again."
Moner said, "What are you talking about? If Novamelle doesn't come back, I won't either. I don't know what you're thinking, dad, but the god has replaced Kyle with two. And you're just abandoning them?"
The father said, "Moner, you stay if you want. It's none of your business."
Moner left immediately, saying, "I won't stay unless it's with Novamelle."
Moner headed to the central garden to look for Novamelle. On the other hand, when Novamelle left, she was crying as she headed to the market, looking for an open library due to the rain.
She reached a library with an "Open" sign on the door. It was the biggest library in the kingdom. She entered and asked the owner to buy an envelope to write a letter. She also asked for a rope. The shop owner was surprised and said, "I have one, but it's not for sale."
She gave him 500 silver coins and said quickly, "Hurry, or I might change my mind." The shop owner got excited and sold it to her immediately.
She left and headed to the royal palace. She said to herself, "Yes, this is the palace."
The palace she referred to was the one of a minister near the queen's larger palace. It seemed like she knew her destination well. Taking advantage of the rainy weather, Novamelle sneaked into the palace through the fence without the guards noticing. She looked at the upper floor and saw the lights on. She thought to herself, "I'm sure it's him. I'll climb the wall to see."
Novamelle climbed and saw Minister Shin, his wife, and their son John, sitting and having dinner. She slightly opened the window and threw the envelope. She thought to herself, "I can't hand the letter to anyone, not even the guards. I don't trust them."
John was speaking before: "Please, dad, don't let Sevor advance to become a state soldier. I know he will fail."
Shin said, "Don't worry, John. As long as he's strong enough, he'll succeed. You also told me that your twin friends want to become soldiers."
John said, "Yes, and I want to stop them." Shin smiled cruelly and said, "I know you're afraid your friends might die, but they have their own desires, and they are free. You can't hold back someone passionate about life. Your friends are passionate, and that's the bitter reality."
The envelope fell, and Shin noticed it. He stood up, picked it up, opened it, and read the letter slowly, absorbing its contents. He couldn't believe what he read. He looked out of the window but saw no one. By this time, Novamelle had already left.
His wife asked, "What's wrong with your face, Shin? What's written?"
Shin laughed and tore the letter, saying, "It's a letter full of insults to me. Maybe from one of the protesters who sneaked in without the guards knowing."
His wife laughed and said, "Haha, those protesters are really funny. They’re useless."
John looked at his father, his head full of questions.
The rain gradually stopped, and night fell. The lights went out, and all the shops closed. Moner searched for Novamelle in the market and also in the garden, but he couldn't find her. He thought of going to the cliff near the Lifeline, and when he arrived, he found Novamelle sitting, looking at the moon. The air was cool and refreshing, blowing through her soft hair, with the sound of the pink wolves howling.
Moner approached quietly, walking without saying a word. He sat beside her and said, "I don't know what happened, but I left home, and I won't return unless with you. Why don't you come back?"
Novamelle smiled as she gazed at the moon and said, "You don't remember anything, great soldier Ghost. This isn't our place. My place is in the palace. I am the revered queen Ploom!"
Meanwhile, Shin couldn't sleep well. He tossed and turned in his bed, thinking about the letter's content: "To Shin, I’ll wait for you in the central garden at 10 PM. From your old friend – Queen Ploom."
