Kaida made another shadow e and tinued practig. After two hours, Shisui said, “Si’s just repetitive training, I’m heading back. e to me if you succeed or fay problems.”
Kaida nodded a practig. Due to an imban his chakra, it was tough to trol it si wasn't inside his body.
*‘The rate ress is quite slow. At this rate, it will take days to get it done… alone,’* Kaida thought. He made five shadow es, each with 20% of his chakra, and five more with just 5%. All of them began training together.
Kaida took a break to create a new batch of shadow es responsible for pleting missions, as the previous ones were low on chakra from w throughout the day.
*‘We’ve pleted 348 missions so far. bined with previous ohat makes roughly 600 missions. Now I just o plete 400 more to cim a reward from the head,’* Kaida noted after receiving a report from the e in charge of missions.
After making 50 more es, he returo his Genjutsu training. Si was new for him and required signifit time, Kaida decided to focus on it for the time being.
*‘Luckily, I have two more days. I’m sure I learn the basics by then,’* Kaida thought, tinuing his training through the night.
For the wo days, Kaida’s routine involved learning medical knowledge at the hospital from 8 AM to 4 PM and training isu from 5 PM to 7 AM. With the help of his shadow es, he was able to meet both of his goals. He pleted 2,000 missions, earning ara 30,000 tribution points from Fugaku, while also mastering the basics of Genjutsu, enabling him to make his shadow e see what he wanted.
Since he still had some time, Kaida went to the Uchiha headquarters to cim his rewards.
“Good evening, Fugaku-sama,” Kaida said, bowing slightly in front of him.
“How the hell were you able to plete 2,000 D-rank missions in just three days?” Fugaku asked.
“Thanks to the Soldier Pills, I was able to expend more chakra on my shadow es. They pleted the necessary tasks swiftly,” Kaida replied.
Fugaku sighed. “Here is the promised reward. This is the maximum amount I’ll give you this week.” He handed Kaida a stack of papers signifying 30,000 tribution points.
“Thank you, Fugaku-sama,” Kaida said, taking the papers.
“Fugaku-sama, I wao ask something,” Kaida tinued after receiving the tribution points.
“What is it?”
“Since we have so muused nd, ’t we also use that for rewards that we cim with tribution points?” Kaida asked.
When the Uchiha were relocated to the outskirts of Konoha, they received nd equal to what they had in the vilge ter. Due to the price differehey now had four times the nd they needed, most of which was unoccupied.
“Most ninjas have their own houses in the Uchiha pound. Why would you think they need more nd?” Fugaku asked, noting that no one had attempted to buy the nd for years.
“I don’t know, but it doesn’t hurt to add it. Maybe someone will find a use for it,” Kaida replied.
“Do you have any ideas for that nd?” Fugaku asked, sensing the reason behind Kaida's question.
“I do have some ideas, but nothing major,” Kaida said nontly.
“I’ll think about it. Is there anything else you want?” Fugaku asked.
“No, sir.”
“Then you may leave,” Fugaku said, returning to his paperwork.
Kaida took his leave and headed toward his destination.
“Brother, I’ve learhe basics,” Kaida said to Shisui, who was resting in the garden after a training session.
“Good! How much more time do you have?” Shisui asked.
“Four more hours,” Kaida replied, uanding what Shisui meant.
“That’s enough time. Let’s go.” Shisui used the Body Flicker Jutsu to reach the training area, with Kaida following using Wind Instantaneous Movement Jutsu.
“This is a simple D-rank jutsu, but its use is anything but small. If it weren’t easily detected, it could even be B-rank or A-rasu,” Shisui expined.
Kaida nodded.
“It’s known as the False Surroundings Teique. It creates a horrifying illusion in the victim's mind, typically tailored to exploit their fears or weaknesses. In some cases, this weakness may be something they’re unaware of,” Shisui tinued.
Listening to the expnation, Kaida thought, *‘Isn’t this just like what Kakashi used on Sakura during the bell test?’*
“Are you ready?” Shisui asked.
“Yes,” Kaida said, creating a shadow e.
“No, this time you’re not going to use shadow es for this. Use them for training,” Shisui said, pointing toward a rat.
“Why is there a problem with using shadow es?” Kaida asked.
“Because you should never use asu that requires hand signs on your shadow es. It may damage your eyes due to a chakra loop,” Shisui replied seriously.
Kaida nodded and caught a rat for training. After having killed people, he felt no remorse about using rats for practice, as it was necessary.
First, Shisui showed Kaida the hand signs, thehem to cast the Genjutsu o. Seeing the horrified expression o's face, Kaida uood that the jutsu was successful.
“Do you wao show it again?” Shisui asked.
“No, I tinue on my own. Thank you, brother.”
“Okay. e find me if you have any doubts, aurn before the Soldier Pill's effects wear off; otherwise, I’ll have to e find you,” Shisui said, ruffling Kaida’s hair a bit.
“Okay, brother,” Kaida said.
Shisui used Body Flicker Jutsu to return home.
*‘Since I only have four hours, let’s make it t,’* Kaida thought, starting to make shadow es.
After creating 80 shadow es, each went off to search for a rat to practice the jutsu. After four hours of practice, Kaida achieved two things: partial mastery of the D-rank jutsu and a gratitude for redug the number of rats in the Uchiha pound. After that, he returned home.
Hae had prepared food for him, knowing he would be back after three days of training. The amount was enough to feed six or seven people.
...
While Kaida rested, Hiruzen received the first report about him after sending an Anbu to find him.
“Are you sure?” Hiruzen asked, looking toward the Anbu guard.
