Damien checked in on Luc as his wound was being checked and bandaged again. “How is the wound?” Damien asked. “It is not too bad now,” said Luc. “What did you learn from the prisoners?” asked Luc. “We learned that they were from one of the other gangs that converted.” said Damien “According to them the mysterious new leader came to them and gave them the order to ambush us and deliver his message. They cannot give any description of this man, but he seemed to know that both of us would be traveling and were we would be for an ambush.” Luc looked at Damien and gave him a strange look. “How would anyone know that?” Luc asked. “I don’t know yet,” said Damien “Cobra is with them now and is trying to get more information. For now, Fox has offered us an escort out of the lower city and will keep us informed of any new information.” Damien and Luc headed out of the Lower city with Wraith, Shadow, and Wolf acting as an escort for them until they reached the gates of the lower city and found Damien carriage waiting for them. Damien and Luc said goodbye to the others and got in the carriage. “What are we going to do now?” Luc said. “We are going back to my villa. It is getting late, and we need rest after the day's events,” Damien said “We can continue the investigation tomorrow from the villa.” The carriage rattled down the city streets and the villa came into view. “Is Seth not staying with you?” Luc asked. Damien smiled at Luc “Yes, but there is plenty of room for you both Luc” Damien said “I just don’t know if he is already back or not. He was at the university all day investigating.” “Investigating what?” Luc asked. “He was investigating Malik. I guess we will find out what he learned when we get back,” said Damien.

  The carriage stopped in front of the Villa and servant appeared to aid Damien and Luc and taking the carriage away. “Has Seth returned yet?” Damien asked on of the servants. “No sir” the servant said. Damien nodded at the servants and asked to be informed of Seths returned. Damien and Luc went into the villa and Damien order a bath to be drawn and a meal to be prepared by the servants. They bathed and ate, and Damien showed Luc to a room and returned to his own room. It was as Damien was getting ready for bed that he heard a knock. Damien opened the door and found Luc standing outside. “Can I come in Damien?” Luc asked. Damien looking startled stepped aside and let Luc enter the room. Damien stood there in only his underclothing as Luc stared at him. “Can I stay in here tonight, Damien?” Luc asked, “I don’t want to sleep alone”. Damien smiled at Luc and nodded. Damien watched Luc strip his clothing until he was only in his under clothing too and Damien and Luc got into bed.
