As the carriage rolled down the street Luc stirred “Can you drop me off at the University Damien. I want to check on some things”. Damien nodded “Sure” and he called out to the driver to make a stop at the University. The carriage rolled down the street before it came to a stop at the university. Luc looked at Damien “You can go on to the villa. I will be a while and will meet you later”. Damien nodded and he signaled his driver to continue as the door shut. The carriage moved on until it came to the villa and Damien stepped out of the carriage. A servant came up to Damien “Some, Letters arrived for you sir”. Damien took the letters and thanked the servant. The letters were addressed to him and one he could recognize the writing of Fox on one of the Letters. The other had no identifiers, and he could not recognize the writing on the letter, so he opened that letter first.
Damien,
There is no sign of Malik, but I have found men behaving suspiciously in and around the University. From what I have overheard they are concerned about your investigation. I have also heard that they have some plan they are going to advance. I hope to have more information when next I see you. Be careful.
Seth.
Damien read the short letter. So, they are advancing their plans. I hope everything is in place before they are ready. Damien looked at the other letter that had Fox’s writing and open it.

Damien,
I have been looking into the deaths of the prisoners. I have discovered that the poison was self-administered but the poison used was very rare and would not have escaped out search of their persons. I can only conclude that someone passed them the poison. I will not voice my suspicions on here. I will discuss my fears in person with you before the day is out.
Fox
Damien finished reading both letters and he entered his villa. He spent several hour thinking and reading. While he waited letters from Tam and his family saying they were away from the city came in and a letter from Lily came saying that the messages were received and all was ready. Damien thought to himself “So, the pieces are set, we do not know the full game yet, but we are ready for the next play.” The sun was setting, and twilight was stretching over the city when Damien noticed it. A red glow from the direction of the lower city and plumes of smoke beginning to rise to the sky. Damien moved out of his villa and was gathering his people. He was giving orders to send runners out to find out what was going on when one of the watchers gave a shout. He pointed to the growing gloom and a group of about 20 people coming towards the villa. Damien looked out at the group and saw that many of the men were battered and wounded and leading the staggering group were Shadow and Wolf. Damien rushed out and met them. Damien gave orders to his people to get the men inside and tend their wounds and as he helps Shadow and Wolf inside, he asked “What has happened?” Shadow looked shell shocked and said, “Fox is dead”.
