And this is how the 4th short story in the book went:

  “There was once a panda named Pan who was usually very friendly and was living a very enjoyable life!…

  But then one day some hunters came into the woods that Pan lived in, and Pan overheard then saying that they were going to kill some of Pan’s friends!…

  Pan took the threat that the hunters posed very seriously, and so Pan quickly created a big net and then snuck over to a place that was above where the hunters were; and then Pan dropped! the net onto the hunters and trapped them inside of it!…

  The hunters were very angry that they were trapped inside of the net now, and then they looked around and one of them noticed Pan nearby; and then the one who had noticed Pan said, “Was it you who captured us in this net, Mr. panda?…” and then Pan said, “It was indeed!…

  See, you were going to kill some of my friends, and so I captured you so that you couldn’t kill them!…” and then the other hunter said, “This is so stupid…

  And, I mean; to be honest, if we’re such terrible hunters that a panda bear could capture us like this then we probably deserved to be captured, I’d say…” and then the other hunter said, “But if we’re smart enough to escape then we’ll deserve to escape too!…” and then the other hunter said, “Very true, very true…” and then Pan said, “Well, we’ll just have to make sure that you 2 don’t escape then, and I have a lion friend named Lianna who is very good at preventing people who are confined from escaping; and so I’m going to go and get Lianna so that she can insure that you 2 won’t escape!…” and then one of the hunters said, “Whaaaaa????

  But wait!…; a lion will gobble us up, for sure!; and so you’d be sentencing us to death by having Lianna guard us!…” and then Pan said, “I don’t think that Lianna would do that…; but since you object so much to Lianna guarding you do you have any better ideas for me about how to insure that you 2 won’t escape and kill my friends like you were planning on doing?…” and then the other hunter said, “Ummm…

  Just give us a minute!, okay?…” and then the 2 hunters discussed some possibilities in quiet voices while Pan waited patiently for them to come up with some suggestions for him…; and then after a few minutes one of the hunters turned to Pan and said, “Look, friend!…; how about you come up with some sort of mission for us to accomplish; and then if we can accomplish that mission then we’ll just leave these woods, and then we’ll never return to these woods again!…” and then Pan said, “Hmmm…

  A mission, eh?…

  Well, I suppose that there is that pesticide company that’s a few miles away from these woods, and they’ve poisoning the soil so much that I’ve been getting worried that the poison that they’re putting into the soil is going to spread into these woods so that my friends and I will all be poisoned too!…” and then one of the hunters said, “No worries!…

  We can just sue the pesticide company in civil court and bankrupt them!…” and then the other hunter said, “For sure!…

  After all, they’re engaging in aggression by inflicting measurable bodily harm on lots of people, and so we should be able to convince a jury to bankrupt them pretty easily!…” and then Pan said, “Well, I suppose that you 2 have earned your freedom then by making the promise to me that you’ve made; and so I will now remove the net that’s trapping you so that the 2 of you can head off to that civil court and make your case against that pesticide company to a jury!…” and then Pan removed the net that had been trapping the hunters; and then the hunters quickly! raced! away from the woods!; and then they went over to the civil court and got a case going against the pesticide company that was allegedly poisoning the soil!…; and then over the next few weeks there was a very feisty trial, and then once the hunters and the people from the pesticide company had made their closing arguments to the jury it was time to wait and see whether the jury would side with the hunters or the folks from the pesticide company…; and then eventually the jury decided upon a verdict, and the jury had determined that the pesticide company had been engaging in aggression by inflicting measurable bodily harm on lots of people; and so then that jury’s verdict resulted in the pesticide company being bankrupted as a punishment for how they’d been poisoning the soil, and so now the hunters were able to breathe a sigh of relief because now they had succeeded in completing the mission that Pan had given to them which meant that now they wouldn’t be gobbled up by Lianna!…; and so then a bird soon delivered the news to Pan about how the pesticide company had been bankrupted, and then Pan thanked the bird for the information; and then Pan went over to his friend Lianna and told her the good news!; and then Lianna said, “Woohoo!…

  I mean, that pesticide company was completely out of control!; and now everyone is safer because they’ve been defeated in civil court and bankrupted!…” and then Pan and Lianna went and told a bunch of their other friends the good news too!; and then Pan, Lianna, and a bunch of their friends all had a marvelous feast to celebrate that now that pesticide company wouldn’t be able to poison any more soil!; and as Lianna and Pan and their friends enjoyed their joyous celebration they were all feeling very good about life and were confident that they were all going to live happily ever after!…

  The End”

  And then I continued reading the short stories that were in the book, and I was really enjoying all of them!; and, as I continued reading, all of my worries about what the future might hold went away for a little while, and I began to feel so at peace that it seemed to me like life was going to unfold in a very good way and I going to live happily ever after!…
