Hey y'all, so I took a month break. A month became two, two became too many and then too many became, well, this. It's over now, I'm back working on this. I can't tell you when the next chapter will be out but I will lay out the plan for the future for you so you can be aware of what's going on.

  1. I'm going to be getting book 1 off of royal road and onto kindle unlimited. I believe kindle unlimited makes more money and I do like money. If you want to read this for free, now is your chance. I am officially out of hiatus, I have defeated the anxieties and fears that gnaw at me and I am damn well committed to getting this book finished because I genuinely love it. So read it for free now if you want to or even better, wait until its on kindle and read it then so I can make money and buy peanut butter for breakfast.

  2. Once book 1 is onto kindle unlimited I am going to be going back to the drawing board for the next book to make sure I've got everything I need in it.

  This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.

  3. I will write the first chapter of the next book and publish it on patreon early. The patreon tiers are changed from when I last published, they're no longer a number of chapters ahead but a number of days ahead. If you want to read the chapters early then go follow my patreon and subscribe when the first chapter gets posted.

  All in all, we're probably looking at the first chapter being posted on patreon in about a week, give or take a few days. The release schedule will be literally whenever I feel like posting a chapter. I'm expecting it to be typically about 2/3 chapters per week but some weeks might have just 1 chapter, other weeks might have 4 chapters. A big problem for me previously was having a strict release schedule and feeling forced to keep up with it even on days that I didn't particularly feel like writing. That's a problem, that's no fun and it leads to bad story arcs/chapters. So there will be no release schedule, and I will be a happier author.
