Nerezza:
It took five days to close out her affairs and place all of the properties maintenance under Dru’s responsibility. This place she would never be able to get rid of fully. She settled on the swing and let herself float back and forth absorbing the silence. She could clearly call her Mama’s image to mind picking flowers.
“Flowers are beautiful. The bloom, they support life and then they wither but they always come back.”
Why the words filled her head she didn’t know but it sent a pain through her chest. She caught sight of Dru’s head popping up in the wild mess of blooms. It had surprised both of them how much he enjoyed caring for the gardens.

His family was requesting for her to bring her considered additions of the family to meet them. They would wait until after an actual union but they would complain about it. They weren’t happy when Dru brought a child that wasn’t his blood as his heir, and they wouldn’t be happy to find out that she wanted to give the roll to Zephon.
A note flittered through the air from a special line. She grasped it and looked down and the black paper note. She opened it.
Drawn in the pages were four outlined roses not colored in. Only she and those she trusted ever knew they were blue.
“Dru.” She called. Dru raised his head.
“I’m going out for a bit.” She informed him.
