Chapter 116: Deep Abyss Branch

The top floor of the command tower, originally filled with gore and mental pollution, was now undergoing a "Physical Renovation" that turned the world upside down.

The Slayer sat on a broken obsidian slab at the edge of the hall, holding a rag stained with machine oil, slowly and steadily wiping the Tiger Soul Chainsaw that had just finished "eating."

  *Zzz—Zzz—*

The chainsaw's engine was in standby mode, occasionally emitting a low hum resembling a beast's snore. The Slayer's movements were mechanical and precise, the red light on his faceplate standing out in the dim dust. He didn't look at the busy crowd, but a ten-meter absolute vacuum zone formed around him—no Spirit or engineering puppet dared to approach this incarnation of destruction wiping his murder weapon.

On the other side of the hall, Singularity was hovering in mid-air, the multifunctional stylus in his hand drawing streaks of golden light in the void, directing a cross-dimensional illegal construction project.

"That rune on the left! It's crooked! Crooked by 0.5 millimeters!" Singularity shouted at the Spirit workers carrying construction materials below. "That's the base of the 'Spatial Stabilization Array', not your backyard fence! If it's installed crooked, we'll be torn apart by spatial turbulence before we even open for business!"

The Spirit workers trembled with fear, hurriedly adjusting the force wrenches in their hands. The slave collars on their necks had been removed, replaced by temporary badges reading "Netherworld Construction Group · Intern."

In the center of the hall, where the Thousand-Eyed Tyrant once floated, now stood a massive stone stele cast from a mixture of Abyss Demon Iron and Netherworld Yin Stone.

With a wave of his hand, Singularity carved two lines of bold, flowing golden characters on the stele with mana:

[Netherworld Special Administrative Region in Abyss · Office]

  "Perfect."

Singularity landed, clapping the dust off his hands with satisfaction. He turned to the Slayer in the corner with an expression like he was presenting a treasure:

"Great Hero, what do you think of this sign? This will be our stronghold in the Abyss from now on, and also our general logistics supply station."

The Slayer stopped wiping the chainsaw.

He slowly raised his head, his eyes hidden behind the dark green faceplate sweeping over that stele full of bureaucratic aura.

If it were any other time, he might have punched this obstructing thing to pieces directly. But at this moment, he just glanced at it and withdrew his gaze.

  *Click.*

He hooked the chainsaw back onto his waist, then took out an unused grenade from the dimensional pocket behind him, rolling it in his hand like a walnut.

This silence meant acquiescence. As long as it could provide ammo, the name didn't matter.

Receiving tacit permission, Singularity instantly became as excited as if he had been injected with chicken blood. He pulled out the Heavenly Dao Tablet from his bosom and brought up a PPT titled "Abyss-Netherworld Bilateral Trade Special Zone Plan v1.0."

"Since the territory has been conquered, we must engage in construction and economy! Relying solely on fighting and killing is unsustainable; we must support war with war!"

Singularity tapped his finger, and a holographic projection unfolded over the ruins.

  "First, solve the 'Contact' problem."

He pointed to the Spirits cleaning the battlefield below and the first batch of Netherworld Ghost Messengers coming through the portal.

"Spirits are living beings, while our Ghost Messengers are dead spirits. Yin and Yang are separated; the Yang energy of the living will burn ghosts, and the Yin energy of ghosts will shorten the lifespan of the living. If they do business face-to-face, half of them will die before a deal is even made."

  Singularity snapped his fingers.

Several engineering puppets pushed in heavy special glass walls carved with isolation runes and began to build independent compartments on the square.

"So, we will establish 'Yin-Yang Isolation Trade Counters'!"

"This middle layer of glass combines the water vapor from the River of Forgetfulness at the Bridge of Helplessness and Abyssal crystal technology. It can perfectly isolate Yin and Yang energies but allow sound and light to pass through. I even installed an 'Automatic Spirit Coin/Magic Stone Exchange Channel'!"

In less than an hour, a cyberpunk-style "Container Market" rose from the ruins.

Immediately after, Singularity took out a pile of red armbands and uniforms and threw them to a few Spirit elders who looked relatively clever.

  "Put these on."

The Spirit elders tremblingly unfolded the armbands, which had bilingual text in Demonic and Chinese:

  [Abyss Market Supervision Administration]

"And this." Singularity pointed to a team of Yin Soldiers holding elec
