11-cafe

In a street teeming with vehicles and the bustle of pedestrians, there stood a cafe that appeared upscale.

It was not the kind known to all, nor one that impoverished students habitually frequented due to its exorbitant prices.

Glancing inside, the cafe was primarily occupied by university students or adolescents in groups of friends, gathered around brown tables with a beverage or university textbooks set before each of them.

Within, one could notice several female students stealing glances at that young man sitting alone, perched cross-legged on his chair in isolation from the rest of humanity.

At first glance, one might think people were staring because he was alone in the cafe, or perhaps because he was wearing a light shirt in the summer—

which was not a very common occurrence.

However, the matter was not so strange as to warrant such public attention...

It was perhaps more logical to consider him simply handsome.

At least, handsome enough to capture the attention of the girls—

even those who were in pairs or with their partners.

Some of them cast fleeting glances toward him without their companions' notice.

With his white shirt matching the color of his shoes and his choice of black trousers,

he created a simple color palette, yet one that was pleasing to the eye—

blended with his unique aura that enveloped you in a sense of singularity and superiority.

One could sense a great deal of mystery surrounding that figure sitting so tranquilly.

The young man remained seated in silence for nearly an hour, browsing his phone and occasionally smiling.

At other times, he would laugh audibly while raising his hand to gently adjust his long hair, indifferent to whether the neighboring table heard his laughter or not, clearly enjoying his own company.

But this self-indulgence was interrupted by the arrival of an uninvited guest at the young man’s table.

  " May I sit with you? "

The young man raised his eyes, processing the phrase first, then the voice, followed by the visual image.

All of this transpired in a single second, but it indeed piqued his curiosity, causing him to arch an eyebrow in surprise.

' I thought the one approaching would be an admiring girl; so why is it a man? Wait... don't tell me, is he gay?! '

He thought this in silence, yet did not conceal his suspicious gaze, which the uninvited guest could clearly feel.

The man in the black suit sensed the oncoming look of hostility but ignored it momentarily, pulling out a chair to sit opposite the young man, who lowered his phone slightly and shot a quick glance at the other party.

Thus, the man in the black suit spoke first.

" I came to talk with you, Cairn. "

Cairn arched his eyebrow again with a faint, muffled chuckle while staring directly into the other man's eyes.

" What do you want? "
