01:00 A.M. – Tuesday, September 1st, 2020.
When the ancient magical stone awakened, it not only summoned the lurking demons hiding in the darkness, but also stirred a thousand?year slumber. A Soul suddenly opened her eyes in the void.
She had no physical form; no one could touch her, and no one could see her. For an entire millennium, she existed like a forgotten sigh. Everything around her felt both unfamiliar and terrifying. She wanted to speak, to scream so that someone would recognize her, but all she received in return was deadly silence. She was exhausted, dispirited, drowning in absolute loneliness.
05:30 A.M. – The same day.
Tehimosin woke up when the sun had not yet risen. A faint invisible thread appeared before his eyes—the sign of a new member who needed salvation. He quietly went through his daily routine: brushing his teeth, cooking breakfast, cleaning his bedroom. Meanwhile, the five girls in the house (Nebelselle, HuaZessin, DeesSwano, Gigyeumu, and DaljoaMoon) were still sound asleep.
14:00 P.M.
Following the thread, Tehimosin stopped in front of a blurry silhouette. The girl sat motionless, her eyes empty, as if she had given up on the world.
“Today’s weather is nice, isn’t it? But it doesn’t seem to match your mood,” Tehimosin gently spoke.
The Soul tilted her head, eyes widening in shock:
“Are you… talking to me? You can see me?”
“Of course,” Tehimosin smiled.
“Really? You can even hear my voice?” she exclaimed, then overwhelmed with emotion, she rushed to hug him.
“Finally… finally someone acknowledges my existence! Someone I can trust and confide in!”
She began pouring her heart out:
“You know, I’ve been lonely for so long. It felt like the whole world abandoned me, to the point I forgot how to talk to anyone. Everyone ignored me…”
Tehimosin looked at the poor girl and gently patted her head:
“Don’t worry. From now on, I promise you will NEVER be lonely again.”
22:00 P.M. – At the base.
As soon as he stepped through the door, Tehimosin saw the five girls lined up waiting.
Nebelselle immediately asked, “Where’s the new friend for today, Master?”
“She’s hugging me right now,” Tehimosin replied casually.
HuaZessin blinked in confusion: “But I don’t see anyone?”
DeesSwano narrowed her eyes: “Master, are you messing with us?”
Tehimosin suddenly realized: “Ah, so you can’t see souls.”
Instantly, chaos erupted. The moment the five girls heard the words “a soul,” their faces turned pale as sheets, and they scattered in panic, looking for places to hide.
Tehimosin turned to Gigyeumu: “What on earth is going on?”
“Actually… we just finished watching ghost movies,” Gigyeumu admitted while hiding behind a chair.
Turns out that from 18:00 until he arrived home, they had been doing a “courage test.”But their way of watching was bizarre—they only watched until the ghost appeared, then immediately switched to another movie because… they were too scared.
DaljoaMoon cried as she whimpered, “Ghosts are so scary, Master! There was one with only a head and its guts showing, huu huu!”
DeesSwano added, “There was one with no eyes, no mouth, missing limbs too!”
Nebelselle delivered the final blow:
“The scariest part is… they were all once human, huu huu!”
Right then, Gigyeumu—the one who initiated this whole thing “to study the imagination of humans”—suddenly pulled out a ghost mask to scare them, sending the whole group into another frenzy.
Tehimosin sighed and explained to the Soul:
“Please understand. They all have extreme fear of humans due to past traumas.”
He began telling her about each girl’s suffering:
Nebelselle was falsely accused, HuaZessin was burned alive, DeesSwano was abused in the name of holy justice, Gigyeumu was betrayed and thrown into the ocean’s depths, and DaljoaMoon was tortured with electricity.
The Soul listened, her initial fear fading, replaced by compassion:
“You must have had a hard time, right? Taking care of all five girls by yourself.”
“Not at all,” Tehimosin smiled. “Everyone here is financially independent. It’s the modern age— they can earn money easily without leaving the house.”
He proudly listed:
Nebelselle is a famous online fashion designer; he and HuaZessin take care of a specialty garden; DeesSwano is a composer who sells music rights; Gigyeumu is a genius inventor of tech devices.
As for DaljoaMoon, she’s studying to become a doctor because he once saw a Taiwanese drama with a line that sounded incredibly cool:
“I want to become a doctor because doctors can take care of themselves and also protect the ones they love.”
“Alright, it’s late. All of you, go to sleep!” Tehimosin waved.
The five girls answered in unison: “Yes, Master!”
Tehimosin turned to the Soul and smiled:
“Tonight, you’ll sleep in my room. Don’t worry, you have a family now.”
PART 2: THE QUEEN OF LOST SOULS AND A NEW BEGINNING
09:00 A.M. – Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020.
Sunlight filtered through the leaves in the garden, but the atmosphere inside the base carried an unusual tension. HuaZessin rushed into the living room, breathing heavily, her face filled with worry.
“Where is Master? It’s already 9 o’clock and he still hasn’t gone to the garden to work!”
Nebelselle looked up from her design sheet, frowning:
“Maybe he went out to do something?”
“Impossible!” HuaZessin shook her head firmly. “Whenever Master goes out, he always sticks a note on his door. But this morning… there was nothing.”
The irregularity made the whole group anxious. DeesSwano, Gigyeumu, and DaljoaMoon soon joined in. Without saying a word, all of them headed toward Tehimosin’s room. When the door opened, an unbelievable scene greeted them:
Their Master was asleep, and right beside him was a beautiful girl with an extraordinarily graceful and noble aura.
“Who is she?!” DaljoaMoon exclaimed, both shocked and a little jealous.
Tehimosin woke up, rubbing his eyes as he saw five girls surrounding his bed:
“What’s going on? Why is everyone gathering here?”
“Master… who is this girl?” Nebelselle pointed at the stranger.
“Well, she’s the Soul I introduced to you yesterday,” Tehimosin replied casually.
The group froze. Yesterday, she had been just a misty silhouette that none of them could see, yet now, she was present in full human form.
Gigyeumu squinted, her mechanical brain processing rapidly:
“She looks familiar… I think I’ve seen her somewhere in the database.”
“Why was she a soul yesterday, and now she has a physical form?” Nebelselle asked suspiciously.
Gigyeumu presented her hypothesis:
“Perhaps she accidentally absorbed energy from Master while sleeping. That allowed her to solidify and form a physical body.”
Her explanation made the other girls panic—they feared that the Soul might have harmed Tehimosin’s health. But he simply smiled reassuringly:
“It’s fine. I still feel plenty of power inside me. Gigyeumu, look into this thoroughly.”
After an entire day of analyzing, Gigyeumu summoned everyone to announce her findings.
“Just as I predicted,” Gigyeumu began professionally.
“A soul is originally a type of extremely low?level living energy. But because she absorbed Master’s powerful energy, she was able to reconstruct a human form. And more importantly…”
Gigyeumu paused, her mechanical eyes flashing.
“I have identified her true identity. She is Queen Lia Lambardo.”
The room fell silent.
Tehimosin was astonished:
“She’s this young and was already a Queen?”
“She died more than 1000 years ago,” Gigyeumu said solemnly.
“At that time, her country was suffering from a horrific famine. Lia, then a kind-hearted princess, secretly gave her food rations to the poor. She hid this from her parents until her body weakened and she died from sickness and starvation.”
Her story of self-sacrifice moved even Nebelselle and DeesSwano—two girls who normally feared humans.
After Lia’s death, neighboring nations, touched by her kindness, joined together to help her country overcome the crisis. To honor her, her father bestowed upon her the title of Queen.
“Her soul didn’t pass on, likely because her physical body still remains,” Gigyeumu added.
“She is one of the most well-preserved mummies in the world today.”
Tehimosin looked at the confused Soul and gently asked:
“Do you want to keep your old name, or begin a new life with a new name?”
The girl thought for a while, then smiled brightly:
“I want a new name. I already have a new family here.”
Tehimosin nodded, his eyes determined:
“Then from now on, your name will be JoouSeele. Joou means Queen in Japanese, and Seele means Soul in German. You will be the Queen of Lost Souls in this family.”
“Yes, Master!” JoouSeele replied happily.
“JoouSeele,” Tehimosin continued, “You have witnessed the flow of time for 1000 years. I want you to become a novelist. Use your writing to share the interesting stories you’ve seen with the world.”
He added seriously but caringly:
“But you must let me read them first. Only when I approve them can they be published. I want to make sure the world sees the brightest things from your perspective.”
JoouSeele bowed respectfully: “I understand, Master.”
PART 3: THE SPECTER OF THE HELL OF WAR
22:00 P.M. – Thursday, October 1st, 2020.
In a land bearing the terrifying name—“The Hell of War”, a horrifying tragedy erupted.
An invisible force, without breath and without form, suddenly swept across the nation.
The people trembled and knelt, believing this was divine punishment for their war crimes in the past.
Meanwhile, the government frantically mobilized the military. Tanks roared, fighter jets tore through the sky, the most advanced missile systems were activated… but all of it was meaningless. Ammunition passed straight through empty air, jets combusted mid?flight, soldiers fell without ever seeing the enemy. Humanity bitterly realized:
This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.
Before the power of the underworld, even the most advanced weapons were nothing but children’s toys.
07:00 A.M. – Friday, October 2nd, 2020.
Television screens broadcast nonstop reports about the eerie silence following the blood-soaked night.
Tehimosin felt something was terribly wrong. He decided to depart with Gigyeumu, who was eager to test the new jet aircraft she herself had built.
Not only the two of them—Nebelselle and HuaZessin were also sent to assist. From high above the clouds, Nebelselle used her technique “Cloud Riding,” carrying HuaZessin so they could drop food supplies and medicine to the suffering civilians below.
11:00 A.M.
When they reached the epicenter, Tehimosin found only devastation—yet an unsettling stillness hung over everything.
“They might only appear at night,” Gigyeumu concluded as she scanned the area with her radar.
The group spent the whole day helping the people. But the moment the clock struck 22:00, the sky suddenly turned a deep purple. A massive spiritual pressure weighed down on all existence.
Tehimosin froze, staring upward.
“What the hell is that? A ghost over a hundred meters tall?!”
Before them stood an enormous entity—a mass of accumulated resentment twisted into a monstrous form.
Gigyeumu spoke in a grave tone:
“Master, this is the consequence of the name ‘Hell of War’. Countless people died here, and now their hatred has become a destructive being.”
“Gigyeumu, find a way to destroy it!” Tehimosin ordered.
“I’m sorry, Master… I cannot analyze data on an enemy that our sensors cannot detect,” Gigyeumu responded helplessly.
In the urgent situation, Tehimosin touched his necklace and summoned JoouSeele. The Queen of Lost Souls emerged from a swirl of gray smoke.
“JoouSeele, can you see it?”
“Yes, I see it clearly,” JoouSeele nodded.
She immediately launched an attack, but her strikes passed straight through the monster as if hitting air. She was still far too weak to affect such a colossal vengeful spirit.
Suddenly, from the darkness, small demons flew out, attempting to attack the giant ghost.
But the massive wraith simply swung its arm, seized the little demons, and devoured them whole.
With each devoured kin, its size increased by dozens of meters, its power swelling to a suffocating degree.
Unable to stand by, Tehimosin hurled himself into the danger zone, rescuing the last two small demons from the creature’s jaws.
The moment they touched his hands, something strange occurred:
The two little demons began frenziedly absorbing his energy.
In an instant, from faint wisps of spirit, they gradually gained visible form, becoming beings with actual mass.
A bold idea flashed through Tehimosin’s mind.
“Gigyeumu! If I transmit my energy into that giant ghost, making it gain a partially physical form, would we be able to attack it?”
Gigyeumu panicked and tried to stop him:
“Master! That’s suicide! That thing is hundreds of meters tall—the amount of energy needed to materialize it is infinite. You’d be drained to death before it even fully forms!”
Tehimosin stood silently in the ruins.
The sound of collapsing buildings, the screams of civilians, the sky trembling with despair—all of it echoed painfully in his ears.
For the first time, the one who carried the power of salvation felt the agonizing helplessness of watching the world fall apart right in front of him, unable to stop it.
The strength of one person has limits, but the pain of war is infinite. I must find another way… before this land truly becomes eternal hell.
PART 4: THE DEATH DREAM AND THE MASTER’S PROMISE
Morning – Saturday, October 3rd, 2020.
Dawn broke over the land called “The Hell of War,” carrying with it an eerie stillness. Tehimosin stood amidst the rubble, his eyes somber as he looked at what remained after the massive entity’s rampage the previous night. Despite possessing extraordinary power, he still felt a surge of helplessness. The only thing he could do now was to use every last bit of strength to evacuate the remaining civilians from the danger zone.
22:00 P.M. – The same day.
The giant ghost appeared once more, casting terror upon all things. Tehimosin, together with Gigyeumu and JoouSeele, struggled to keep up with the rescue work. But the human body had its limits. Due to extreme exhaustion and staying awake all night, Tehimosin collapsed, breathing heavily as he fell into delirium.
In his unconscious state, he found himself wandering into a strange realm.
There, the colossal demon—hundreds of meters tall—was no longer a vague mist. It appeared sharply, in all its grotesque detail. Though Tehimosin was only a 1.75?meter silhouette in comparison, he swung his arm and unleashed his ultimate move: Light Slash.
A slash of light tore through the darkness, defeating the massive entity in an instant.
Suddenly, a muffled and chilling voice echoed from the void:
“Do not destroy my dream…”
Tehimosin jolted awake.
“Congratulations, Master, for defeating that ghost!” JoouSeele cheered beside him.
“You… could see what happened?” Tehimosin asked weakly.
JoouSeele nodded:
“A moment ago, you looked as if your spirit had left your body to fight it directly.”
Gigyeumu pondered:
“So that’s how it is. That ghost wasn’t born naturally—it was created from someone’s dream.”
Completely drained, Tehimosin was brought home by everyone as he burned with fever.
Sunday, October 4th, 2020.
Tehimosin awoke under the careful care of “Doctor” DaljoaMoon. He was surprised to see that JoouSeele had returned to her faint soul form.
“Why have you gone back to that form?”
“It was Sister Gigyeumu who told me to do so,” JoouSeele replied.
Gigyeumu explained from across the room:
“In soul form, JoouSeele can fight more effectively against creatures inside dreams, without needing Master to risk his life materializing them. Whenever she needs a human form, she can simply receive energy from you.”
That night, news of another attack in “The Hell of War” broke out. Tehimosin tried to sit up, but everyone stopped him.
“Master, please trust JoouSeele,” DaljoaMoon urged.
03:00 A.M. – Monday, October 5th, 2020.
JoouSeele returned in the night breeze. She froze upon seeing Tehimosin still waiting for her in the living room, with DaljoaMoon fast asleep on his lap.
“You waited for me all night?” JoouSeele asked emotionally. Her form gradually became clearer as she absorbed the warmth of the Master’s energy.
DaljoaMoon startled awake, rubbing her eyes in frustration:
“I told him to go to bed, but he insisted he was fine. There’s no changing Master at all!”
Tehimosin smiled, his eyes filled with sincerity:
“I made a promise… I will never let you be lonely again.”
The heart of the Queen of Lost Souls trembled. A soul once forgotten for a thousand years now had a place to belong, and someone worth waiting for.
08:00 A.M. – The same day.
“Did you girls sleep well last night?” Tehimosin asked as DaljoaMoon and JoouSeele stepped out after sleeping together to watch over his health.
“Yes, I slept very well!” JoouSeele beamed.
“How are you feeling now?” DaljoaMoon asked professionally.
“I’m fully recovered. You did great, DaljoaMoon.”
Right then, the two little souls JoouSeele saved the previous night timidly floated out. Without hesitation, Tehimosin waved them over:
“Come here. I’ll share my energy with you both.”
Under the Master’s touch, the two souls gradually gained clear forms—solid, tangible, and alive.
In this home of abandoned and wounded companions, new members arrived—warm, hopeful, and full of light.
PART 5: The Endless Loop of Nightmares
10:00 PM, Wednesday, October 7, 2020.
Another ghost appeared.
Once again, War Hell was attacked, and the ghost devoured other imps.
This time, the master managed to save two more imps.
The master asked Gigyeumu to defeat the ghost.
Gigyeumu: Is it me? No way!
Master: You just need to sleep. I want you to help me find out about that ghost—where it came from, and who ordered it.
Gigyeumu understood the master's intention.
Gigyeumu quickly defeated the ghost.
A strange voice echoed: Go away. Don’t destroy someone else’s dream.
Gigyeumu was immediately thrown out of the dream.
Gigyeumu: As expected, I can’t defeat the master of this dream. Truly, the one who owns the dream is the strongest in it.
10:00 PM, Saturday, October 10, 2020.
Another ghost appeared, and the master once again saved two more imps.
This time, the one entering the dream to fight was Nebelselle.
Nebelselle: I’m scared, I’m scared. I won’t fight that ghost.
Master: Let curiosity overcome fear.
Hearing that, Nebelselle gained a bit of confidence, believing: The ghost isn’t that scary.
Nebelselle went to sleep to enter the dream world, but the moment she saw the ghost, she woke up immediately.
She cried and clung to the master: The ghost is too scary!
HuaZessin volunteered: Let me fight the ghost this time, to avenge sister Nebelselle.
HuaZessin entered the dream, but she also woke up right away.
HuaZessin: It’s too scary, hu hu hu.
The master had to hug both Nebelselle and HuaZessin to comfort them.
The ghost was eventually defeated by JoouSeele in her spirit form.
10:00 PM, Tuesday, October 13, 2020.
Another ghost appeared and the master saved two more imps again.
This time, the master chose DeesSwano to fight.
DeesSwano was also afraid of ghosts, but she tried to be brave in front of the master.
She entered the dream world.
When she saw the ghost, she immediately covered her eyes and screamed as loud as she could, creating a powerful “Super Sonic Wave.”
After defeating the ghost, she woke up and saw everyone around her covering their ears.
DeesSwano: What’s wrong with everyone?
JoouSeele: You screamed way too loud.
DeesSwano: But I only screamed in the dream, didn’t I?
Gigyeumu: When you're asleep, your consciousness is off, so you’re not aware of what you’re doing.
Master: You were afraid of ghosts? Why didn’t you tell me? If I’d known, I wouldn’t have let you fight.
DeesSwano pouted and clung to the master.
Master: What’s going on? Why are you acting all clingy with me?
10:00 PM, Friday, October 16, 2020.
The ghost appeared again, and he saved two more imps.
The master asked DaljoaMoon: Are you afraid of ghosts?
DaljoaMoon: Yes, I am.
Master: Then JoouSeele, I’ll leave this battle to you.
JoouSeele quickly defeated the ghost.
DaljoaMoon: These ghosts are pretty weak, huh?
Master: It’s not that they’re weak—it’s that you’re all too strong.
10:00 PM, Monday, October 19, 2020.
The ghost appeared again in the country of War Hell, and the master once again saved two more imps.
Master: If we keep fighting like this, it’s meaningless. Gigyeumu, think of a way to end this once and for all.
Gigyeumu: There is a way… but whether we can pull it off is another story.
JoouSeele: What way, sister?
Gigyeumu: We have to defeat the master of this dream. Like I said before, “In someone’s dream, they’re the strongest.” So defeating the dream’s master seems impossible.
Meanwhile, the ghost continued its fierce attacks on people, buildings, parks, and more.
Master: We have to destroy this ghost now, or it’ll wipe out everything here!
Master: JoouSeele, use your ultimate move — Soul Judgement.
JoouSeele summoned an ancient magic circle, where tormented souls gathered to judge the enemy. If the target carried “guilt” — based on its actions and dark energy — it would be punished by a powerful spiritual attack, dealing damage over time and weakening its will to fight.
The ghost was destroyed.
PART 6: The Truth Behind the Nightmares
10:00 PM, Thursday, October 22, 2020.
Another ghost appeared, but this time there were no imps left—because the ghost had eaten them all.
This ghost was incredibly powerful and stood over 500 meters tall.
Even so, it was no match for JoouSeele.
Master: JoouSeele, use your ultimate move — Soul Rend.
JoouSeele pierced through the ghost, approached it from behind, and used her hand to tear through its body like ripping a piece of paper.
The ghost was defeated.
JoouSeele: Master, is something wrong? You look sad.
Master: I feel regretful… because today, I couldn’t save a single imp.
JoouSeele: They were all eaten by that ghost.
10:00 PM, Sunday, October 25, 2020.
Another ghost appeared.
Master: JoouSeele, I’ll leave this ghost to you. This time, I’ll enter the dream world myself to meet the mysterious figure.
Gigyeumu: That’s the enemy’s dream world. Be careful.
Master: Don’t worry, I have a way to defeat him.
The master entered the dream world.
Master: If I defeat you, you must tell me the whole truth.
Mysterious Voice: Agreed.
In the dream, the mysterious figure gave Tehimosin a nightmare, showing him his past:
The invading army from Country C attacked Tehimosin’s village when he was only 9 years old.Wherever they went, they killed everyone.
They stormed hospitals and schools.
All students — from kindergarten to university — were killed.
Tehimosin: The power of imagination drowns out painful reality.
He imagined beautiful things, and his positive thoughts defeated the enemy’s negativity.
The mysterious figure was defeated.
Tehimosin: In the dream world, the one with the stronger imagination wins.
Mysterious Voice: My name is A, I’m 7 years old. This country (the country of War Hell) is constantly at war because its leader is a dictator who always wants to expand territory. One day, the country was attacked by hypersonic missiles. I was protected by a magic stone that told me to make a wish. I wished: “Let this country disappear.”
Master: Where is the magic stone now?
A: It’s in a cave deep inside a mountain.
Master: You’re a good and honest boy who keeps his promises.
A: Thank you for your kind words.
Master: Do you want me to help you escape this dream?
A: I appreciate your kindness, but I only feel happiness within the dream. Every time I wake up suddenly, I burst into tears.
Master: I understand. Well then, goodbye.
After saying goodbye to A, the master woke up and headed to the mountain A mentioned.
PART 7: The Confrontation at the Magic Stone Cave
Wednesday, October 28, 2020.
The magic stone sensed someone approaching and summoned a 60-meter-tall stone giant to guard the cave.
Gigyeumu: I’ll handle the stone giant.
She summoned a 30-meter-tall Mecha and entered the cockpit to fight.
Meanwhile, DeesSwano, JoouSeele, DaljoaMoon, and the Master entered the cave.
Gigyeumu was defeated, and the Mecha exploded. In desperation, she cried out, hoping the Master would hear her.
Gigyeumu: Master, save me!
The Master broke through the mountain, leapt in, and rescued her just in time before the Mecha exploded.
Master: That was reckless. You shouldn’t be overconfident like that.
Gigyeumu (crying): I thought I was going to die. But how did you hear me from deep inside the cave?
Master: I could sense you were in danger.
Gigyeumu: Wow, you’re amazing. I admire you even more now.
The stone giant tried to punch her, but the Master pointed his finger and fired a “Destruction Beam,” instantly destroying it.
Gigyeumu was stunned, not knowing what had happened, as she was hugging the Master with her back turned to the stone giant.
Gigyeumu and the Master entered the cave and met DeesSwano, JoouSeele, and DaljoaMoon waiting.
DeesSwano: What happened? Why did you break the mountain?
Gigyeumu: He heard my cry for help and came to rescue me.
JoouSeele: We didn’t hear anything.
Gigyeumu: That’s because I have a special bond with him—only he can hear my voice. That’s called love.
DaljoaMoon: Oh, stop joking, sis.
They laughed and joked until they reached the magic stone.
Gigyeumu, filled with anger, rushed forward and punched the stone.
With her strength of one million horsepower, she delivered a blow of approximately 149 million Newtons (equivalent to over 15,000 tons of force concentrated in an instant).
The magic stone shattered into dust immediately.
Magical dust spread through the air.
Master: The consequences of angering a woman are truly terrifying.
They returned home, unaware that the magical dust was alive and searching for a suitable host to inhabit.
